I'm Veldora, So What?

"Are you sure you want to go through with this?" Rimuru asked one final time.

Shizu, now lying atop a large stone table with a massive 10-meter magic circle beneath smiled wryly. "I am... and for what we discussed..." She started.

"It's fine! I'll take care of everything if something happens! Your students, the Demon Lord, everything!" Rimuru quickly reassured her, reaching out a tendril from his slime body to comfortably take Shizu's shaking hand.

I rolled my eyes as I watched this scene. I was literally out here shooting off enough magic power to choke out most demon lords, literal;ly bending the laws of the universe to give this ritual a 100% chance to succeed while another Demon Lord with the power to resurrect the dead stood behind me to ensure nothing went wrong and here these two were, flirting like Shizu was going into an especially perilous medical operation or something with a low chance of success.

Besides, all I was doing was separating the woman's Soul from her body, reconstructing it with magicules and data from her previous body, having a slime consume both, and then re-attach it all back together while allowing a malevolent fire spirit to possess her old shell of a corpse, which I would then kill and feed to the slime.

Simple.

'Well, I guess when I say it like that it does sound... risky.' I thought to myself as Rimuruhoped away, now holding onto Shizu's Anti-Magic Mask.

Shizu, giving one last look to Rimuru nodded and then turned to me. "I'm ready."

I simply nodded. "This will only take a moment," I said, raising my hand towards her.

Shizu closed her eyes and relaxed. I could tell she'd given up fighting the Ifrit inside her, as her body began to levitate and Elemental Fire Magic began to swirl around the stone table in which she lay.

Rimuru, still in his slime form, held onto the mask and seemed to tremble in anticipation.

*Crack!*

The mask cracked under Rimuru's trembling pseudo-hands. I spared Rimuru a sideward glance that said 'really?' as though to scold him for breaking Shizu's most treasured possession. Rimuru looked up at me and meekly consumed the mask with an awkward laugh as though to tell me he'd fix it later.

I rolled my eyes and noticed Luminous looking at Rimuru with a shocked expression for a moment. It seemed she knew how important that mask was and was shocked at the little display just now too. This intrigued me a bit, as I didn't think Luminous would have cared too much about it, but I didn't dwell on it for too long and returned to my work.

What I was essentially doing with this massive magic circle was going to rip the soul out of Shizu before it could be absorbed or crushed by the Ifrit, however, I needed to wait for just the right moment, as without it, I could damage Shizu's Spiritual Body. She was still mostly a human and hadn't begun thinking with her Astral Body or Soul just yet, so damaging the spiritual body would be the equivalent of giving her brain damage if I mistimed it.

Shizu's eyes opened, red sclera and yellow eyes staring at the world around it for the first time since it possessed Shizu. I smirked. "Now!" I yelled as I wrenched back with my hand.

A moment later, a blinding light exited Shizu's body at a rapid rate, flying directly toward Rimuru.

"[Predator]!" Rimuru yelled as he jumped up and caught the light orb in his newly opened form before collapsing back into his slimy ball form.

I smiled and looked to what remained of Shizu's physical body. It was quite the sight, the form of a woman half-on-fire with grey and black protrusions sticking out from it. Ifrit appeared to be mid-way through his transformation now, with horns, claws, teeth, etc bursting forth from Shizu's body.

""Ugh~"" Luminous winced at the sight at the same time I did.

For a brief moment, our eyes met, both understanding that we shared a similar feeling to watching this. Luminous then waved her had, as if telling me to finish this farse already and I nodded in reply.

I turned back to the now fully transformed Ifrit as it ignited its arms, clearly charging a powerful fire spell that it wanted to throw at us. "Yeah let's just... not. {|Death Point|}." I exclaimed, releasing a concentrated point of my {Death Heralding Winds} Storm Magic which instantly reaped the creature's mind, and soul.

I turned to Rimuru now that the creature fell back to the ground, lifeless. "How about desert?" I asked.

RImuru looked up at me in annoyance, which as odd as I still don't know why I could tell, given his featureless slime face. Nonetheless, Rimuru hopped over to the corpse and consumed it with his Skill anyway.

"That Skill of his is... quite dangerous," Luminous muttered to herself.

"Says the woman who can resurrect the dead and use Holy Maic despite being a Monster." I shot back.

Luminous' eyes glared at me. "I am a Demon Lord and a goddess, I am supposed to be... dangerous." She stated, carefully.

I smiled for a moment. "Tooshie"! I said.

Luminous groaned. "Its Touché, I know you did that on purpose."

I smirked. "And how do you know I wasn't just talking about data pretty little-" I was interrupted by Rimuru's shout.

"Miss Shizu!" he explained as I turned back around and saw her.

"Well I'll be... not too bad there, Pervert Dragon." Luminous stated, admiring Shizu's new look.

I smirked and raised my hands in a gesture not too dis-similar to defeated surrender. "What can I say, I'm an artist." I said smugly.

"Um... Lord Veldora, Lady Luminous... can I have some clothes now?" the newly reborn nude Shizu said, covering her breasts and private parts with her hands.

"I don't know... I'm admiring the art." Luminous said smugly, leaning in to get a better look with a smug and slightly perverted look on her face.

I raised my fist to which Luminous fist-bumped.

"Mo!" Shizu pouted.

Rimuru, after recovering from his stunned state, turned to look at me now. "Veldora, come on..."

"I will, but only after you transform too." I stated crossing my arms and leaning back, seemingly relaxed.

"Transform?" Rimuru asked, a question mark popping out of his slimy forehead.

"You ate a human body, no? You should have a human transformation too, right?" I asked.

The question mark straightened into an exclamation point in an instant. "That's right! Transform!" Rimuru replied, having jumped up into the air before activating his transformation like he was some sort of Super Sentai or Magical Girl, however, it was appropriate, as the next moment, his slimy form had molded itself into a smaller, loli version of Shizu.

"Whooo! Veldora, I have a human form! Look, look!" Rimuru excitedly yelled!

"I think I'll stick to admiring Shizu. You're a cute loli, but I'd rather not see one naked. I said, waving my hand, clothing both Shizu and Rimuru in new clothes I'd created for them.

Shizu's clothes were basically the same as what she wore a few minutes ago. A black tighs body-suit with a white mantle, gloves, and boots, along with that weird cloth covering her front, however, I'd infused her with a bit of yellow color, as it was 'my' color, plus I figured Shizu would want to wear something familiar rather than something I'd thought up on the spot. Her new pointed almost elf-like ears and shiny golden yellow eyes sealed the deal. She was gorgeous.

Well, those E-Cups probably didn't hurt either.

For Rimuru, I took a bit longer when coming up with his clothes. They needed to be both stylish and easy to move around in, so that he could freely transform back into his slime form whenever he wished, however, I made sure to add a splash of my yellow color to the mix. I noticed the tips of Rimuru's hair were slightly blonde, which was likely due to his status as my 'son' as well as my magicules that he'd always consume and then use to make himself stronger. Proof that in a few hundred years, Rimuru would probably become some sort of Dragonoid Slime similar to Milim if we kept this same routine.

Still, even with only a splash of yellow and some blue to match his hair, Rimuru looked incredible.

"Not exactly my choice of clothing styles, but not a bad look, all the same," Luminous commented.

'No one asked you!' I wanted to shout back but held my tongue. I still wanted that date later, after all.

Luminous then looked at me mischievously. "Where's MY new clothes?" She said, folding her arms and glaring at me in amusement.

I sighed. "Yes-yes, new Clothes, coming right up, milady~," I said with dry sarcasm as I waved my hand and replaced the dress Luminous was wearing with one that was almost the exact same but of higher quality and shared my color scheme.

I kept it to myself that this was basically me laying claim to Luminous, as I'd rather NOT be blue-balled today.

"Hmm... not bad. I suppose I'm ready for that date now..." Luminus hummed slightly seductively.

I gulped. She looked amazing and I had to stop myself from staring.

i turned back to Rimuru. "Hey Rimuru, your mother and I are going on a date, make sure to do your homework, I left money on the counter for food, ok bye!" I said, opening a gate to a nearby city and gently guiding through a Luminous who was trying very hard NOT to laugh at my antics.

(3rd POV)

Rimuru's eye twitched as he watched Veldora escape with Luminous. "That guy... why does he keep treating me like a little kid?"

Rimuru flinched as Shizu came up behind him and hugged him from behind. "maybe because you look so small... and cute... and defenseless... ha-ha-ha!" Shizu tried to advise before she began to pant heavily.

Rimuru turned to look up at Shizu, worried about her for a brief moment, seeing the redness on her face. He was about to open his mouth to ask, but was cut off.

"Legal shota... legal shota... legal shota!" Shizu was muttering under her breath.

Rimuru was now freaking out internally, wishing he would run somewhere, but Shizu's herculean strength in her new Majin body kept him pinned to her in a hug.

Just then, he heard [Great Sage] comment-

'Oh...' He thought as he looked at the perverted look on Shizu's face. 'yeah, that Skill name tracks.'

<> [Great Sage] tried to remind Rimuru but was cut off.

'Not another word!' Rimuru yelled in his mind now flushed in embarrassment.

(Back with Veldora and Luminous)

After stepping through the portal, Luminous, still amused, looked toward Veldora. "So... what do you have in mind for this 'date' of ours?"

I smiled. "Oh, I know this awesome place in Gurinda! It's like kind-of like Italian-French mixed, it's amazing!" I stated smuggly as I let out my arm for her to take.

Luminous stood there, arms crossed with an eyebrow raised. "First of all, Gurinda was destroyed 300 years ago by SOMEONE, so it doesn't exist anymore, this is Brumund. Second, I think you have the wrong parts for this, remember?"

Luminous was laying it on thick all of a sudden and I deflated. "Oh... right." I said, head down as I held up my hand and snapped my fingers, transforming back into my female appearance, though this time a *bit* more appropriately dressed.

"You can never go wrong with bowling!" I said in my new tomboy female voice as I hyped myself back up.

Luminous rolled her eyes and took my still-inviting arm. "I have no idea what bowling is, but it better be fun if you want to score tonight." She said.

I smiled, smugness, seduction, and a hint of savagely on my face. "Oh? Want to know the chances of me scoring?"

Luminous smiled and rolled her eyes. "No using Ultimates tonight." She said.

"Darn!"

A/N: Hey guys, I wanted to leave a message here to both apologize and explain my actions in this chapter. It's really hard to write a fanfic from the perspective of someone as broken as Veldora who should be in the top 5 strongest in the world by default and has essentially no rivals for the first part of the story, which is why I've fallen back on a lot more jokes and banter in my chapter releases recently. It helped me both keep my motivation for writing as well as being just the most fun dynamic.

Sorry if it seems like Veldora and Luminous are already really chummy or are already dating and it seems like it is too soon or written to be too fast, but whenever I write or read a romcom, I always hate the 'will-they-wont-they' part of it and just want to get onto the good stuff when they are dating, so I kinda just tend to skip that part during my writing. That's also why Velzard and Alaster from my other Tensura fic got together off-screen and we only saw the pre-relationship and post-confession relationship too.

Secondly, I know I've been using a lot of AI Art in this chapter and this may be a hot-take, but I feel like AI Art is the future. I do wish it didn't stiff artists out of so much hard work, but no way am I paying for commissions, especially not from Mitz Vah (the LN author for Tensura) whom I stylize my AI off of using PixAI. This art also serves a double purpose, as generating it from time to time makes me want to write again, which helps my motivation too, which is nice I guess.

Anyways

This is the last 'following canon' arc of the story. From now on it will mostly be completely new stuff. Things will, of course, still happen. The Orcs aren't just going to disappear, for example, but I wouldn't hold my breath for things going in a similar way to canon for too much longer.
