Chapter 7:
Chapter 7: Son of Luck’s Mockery, Di Tian Strikes!:
When Chu Fan’s sword effortlessly shattered Di Hai’s giant hand, those who had mocked him moments ago were forced to reevaluate their judgment. The strength Chu Fan displayed was far beyond what they had expected.
Di Hai’s expression darkened, anger flaring within him.
He had boasted of defeating Chu Fan in three moves, yet his first strike was so easily countered. Determined to reclaim his dignity, he dispelled his earlier disdain and unleashed terrifying waves of energy.
Raising his right hand, Di Hai summoned another massive golden hand, even more destructive than the first. This time, it seemed as if the entire arena was about to collapse under its might. The golden hand descended upon Chu Fan’s sword light, shattering it effortlessly.
A smirk appeared on Di Hai’s face as he formed intricate hand seals. His Spiritual Qi erupted, illuminating his body with radiant golden light.
“This next move will finish you,” Di Hai declared, his voice laced with confidence.
With a single gesture, the sky above the arena turned dark. A Daoist figure appeared behind Di Hai as thunder rumbled ominously. A beam of lightning, hundreds of feet thick, tore through the sky, descending with an overwhelming force that filled the entire arena.
The spectators were wide-eyed, many shaking their heads.
“That Chu Fan is done for,” one murmured.
“Young and reckless,” another said. “How could he think he could challenge a genius of the Emperor Family?”
“This attack might cripple him—if he survives at all,” someone else added.
But just as the thunderbeam was about to strike Chu Fan, he smiled.
“Break!” he shouted.
A wave of sword intent burst forth from Chu Fan, splitting the thunderbeam in two. The crackling energy dissolved into nothingness.
In an instant, Chu Fan’s figure vanished, reappearing directly in front of Di Hai. His broken blade now rested against Di Hai’s neck, while sweat dripped from Di Hai’s forehead, pooling on the arena floor.
The audience gasped as they finally processed what had happened.
“That’s sword intent! He’s actually mastered sword intent!” one exclaimed.
“And he’s only in the early stage of his Realm, a level lower than Di Hai!”
“He defeated Di Hai in just two moves!”
Even the leaders of powerful factions were visibly surprised.
The elder of the Heavenly Dao Sect observed Chu Fan with a faint smile. “The Ye Family has indeed been blessed. To have a youth who’s comprehended sword intent at such an age is truly remarkable.”
The Ye Family elder couldn’t suppress his own satisfaction, his smile as bright as a blooming chrysanthemum.
Chu Fan looked down at Di Hai, his tone condescending.
“You said three moves to defeat me?” he sneered. “I defeated you in just one.”
Di Hai’s face turned pale, and blood spurted from his mouth as he collapsed. Chu Fan’s lips curled with disdain.
“Such fragile mental fortitude from the so-called geniuses of great families,” he muttered, slamming Di Hai to the ground with his blade.
The audience was stunned into silence.
On the surface, Chu Fan remained calm, but a swell of pride surged within him.
His gaze shifted to the Ye Family’s area.
Spotting the surprise in Ye Liuli’s eyes, his confidence soared further.
“This world belongs to me, Chu Fan,” he thought, his arrogance radiating from him. His momentum seemed to double, exuding a faint aura of invincibility.
The leaders of various factions exchanged uneasy glances.
“Does the Emperor Family have any other geniuses to face me?” Chu Fan mocked, his voice filled with sarcasm.
Many who had initially admired him began to frown at his audacity. While youthful confidence was understandable, ridiculing the Emperor Family was crossing the line.
The Ye Family elder also froze, his earlier pride giving way to anxiety.
Chu Fan smirked, glancing around. “If you’re going to challenge me, at least don’t send someone as useless as that. It’s a waste of my time.”
The Emperor Family estate fell into a tense silence. Chu Fan’s brief smirk vanished as he basked in the moment.
“Today, I’ll step on the Divine Son and make my name known across the Divine Realm,” Chu Fan declared, his eyes locking onto Di Tian.
“Divine Son of the Emperor Family, do you dare face me?” he challenged. “Or are you like the rest of your so-called geniuses, hiding like cowards?”
The crowd buzzed with anticipation.
“He’s targeting Di Tian!” someone exclaimed.
At this moment, Di Tian descended from the sky, landing gracefully in the arena. A sly, wicked smile played on his lips.
“Mocking my family, are you?” Di Tian’s voice was cold. “You little nobodies, clinging to fleeting opportunities and thinking the world revolves around you.”
His words struck like thunder. “Do you even understand who we are? Across the Divine Realm, who would dare mock the Emperor Family? Look around—who dares?”
The crowd fell silent, Chu Fan included.
No one dared speak against the Emperor Family.
Di Tian’s gaze pierced through Chu Fan. “You may resent your fate, but jealousy is all you’ll ever have. Challenge me? Fine. Show me your strength.”
Chu Fan’s anger boiled over. His composed facade shattered as he unleashed his sword intent, the sheer force cutting through the air like a storm.
He swung his blade with all his might, the attack carrying the power to tear the heavens apart. The arena quaked as the devastating strike advanced toward Di Tian.
“Fearlessness born of ignorance,” Di Tian remarked calmly.
As his words fell, Chu Fan’s mighty attack disintegrated into nothing.
“Kneel,” Di Tian commanded, his voice imbued with an unyielding force.
The arena seemed to freeze.
Chu Fan coughed up blood, his body trembling uncontrollably as he fell to his knees.
His arms braced against the ground, his face pale and drenched in sweat.
“This can’t be…” Chu Fan thought, his eyes wide with terror. “He’s not human. He’s a monster—a demon!”
The spectators rose from their seats, their faces filled with disbelief as they stared at Di Tian.
Even the Emperor Family members were momentarily stunned before breaking into ecstatic cheers.
[Ding, son of luck Chu Fan’s mentality is affected. Luck value decreased by 100. Villain value increased by 100.]
Hearing the system’s notification, Di Tian’s lips curled into a sinister smile.
As he increased the pressure, Chu Fan spat more blood, fragments of his internal organs mixing with it. The sound of his knees cracking against the arena floor echoed loudly.
Finally, Chu Fan’s body slumped, his face pale and defeated.
“Enough!” someone shouted from the crowd.
