That expression was the one Fang Li recognized as being truly Shirayuki's.

To be honest, the Shirayuki who suddenly stormed in yesterday, attacking Aria without a word, and who relentlessly went after Riko and Reki today, had almost shattered Fang Li's worldview.

Fang Li had spent over a year with Shirayuki.

So, he knew very well that the gentle and kind nature of the girl beside him wasn't an act— it was deeply ingrained in her character.

But at the same time, the Shirayuki from yesterday and today was also part of her true self.

Fang Li had somewhat noticed before that Shirayuki had a hidden side.

For example, when she sent text messages, Shirayuki often bombarded Fang Li's phone with a relentless stream of messages, filling up his inbox.

But yesterday and today, for the first time, Fang Li witnessed her entering a dark, obsessive state just because there were other girls around him.

Now, seeing the familiar shy expression on Shirayuki's face, Fang Li felt relieved from the bottom of his heart.

"I never expected you'd get involved in such a mess with them," Fang Li sighed, speaking to Shirayuki. "I almost thought you had been swapped out for someone else in these past three months."

"It was because… because they were just too much," Shirayuki tried hard to defend herself. "It used to be just me and Li Sama, but now they want to break up that beautiful bond. Isn't that too cruel?"

No, no, no. Even though we used to spend a lot of time together, there wasn't any special bond, right?
