Chapter 274: Poking?
"Unauthorised use of magic isn't permitted on these ground!"
Marek looked towards the crowd of guards, whose spears were aimed towards him in a warning manner. He gave a soft sigh, feeling how troublesome the situation may get.
He glanced back, intending to look towards his daughter for assistance, only to find them her and her girlfriend gone. And in their place was a black, oozing puddle of darkness that soon slipped away.
He then gave another exasperated sigh before muttering in a glitched and robotic voice:
"I-... I suppose that's fair..."
He rummaged through the pockets on the back of his hips, holding out a badge with a rose illustration. If possible, he would rather try to do things as legal and less troublesome as he possibly could.

Marionette slipped through the streets, eventually making it back to the dormitory. Under the startled gaze of the people passing by, she rose out from the black puddle.
In her arms, she carried Lillian like she was a sleeping princess, which wasn't entirely untrue due to the fact she was indeed sleeping.
Marionette stared down at Lillian's face with a slight frown at what had happened before glancing at her phone, which had the tracking app open.
Although she now knew roughly where the direction of the dormitory was and what direction to take to get to it, she rather liked using her tracker, which she sneakily placed inside Lillian's room.
It wasn't necessary in the slightest, but she felt like doing it.
After walking inside and getting into an elevator, she made her way down to Lillian's room. Well, the entrance to it before having to rummage through the girl's pockets.
Creating a dark arm underneath the girl, she held her up and used her now-free hand to move into every pocket she could find on the Rabbit's person.
And...
It wasn't exactly easy, considering that the girl kept on moving and shifting around, especially towards her chest... Which she wasn't entirely against.
As she was rummaging through the inside of her pockets, the back of her fingers accidentally nudged the side of Lillian's chest, causing a soft and small moan to escape her mouth.
"..."
Marionette became still as she heard that before bringing back her hand, staring at it before pausing once again as she thought about what she had just heard.
She then wrapped her fingers into a fist before popping her index finger out and aiming it towards Lillian's chest.
And slowly but surely... She gave the side of Lillian's right breast a poke out of curiosity as a subtle light of excitement flashed through her red eyes.
"Mmhm..."
Marionette widened her eyes before poking the girl's chest again, eliciting another soft moan from the Rabbit, which she couldn't help but be attracted by.
She did it again and again, slowly forgetting what she should've been doing originally and getting lost in teasing and playing around with the girl.
It was a rather fun process, which she soon stopped as she remembered her task. She should first get Lillian inside to lay her down. Only then could she continue.
After thinking something along the lines of that, she moved her hand back into her pockets. She soon fished out Lillian's student ID, and as she was about to scan it...
She heard the girl groan slightly, shifting a bit as though... she was stirring awake?
Lillian, turning her face away from Marionette's chest, faced upwards and slowly opened her eyes with a groggy and irritated expression.
Once her eyes adjusted to the light, she found a red-eyed woman staring down at her. And... She seemed to have a strange look on her face.
"... You're... awake?" She quietly asked, surprised, considering there was still time until half an hour, which was the estimated time for Lillian to wake up.
But instead, it seemed the girl had woken up in at least half of that time.
Lillian raised an eyebrow at her.
"... Huh? Awake?"
She then glanced around, finding her in a new but familiar location. She also discovered that she was in the arms of the Assassin for some reason.
"Why are we back in the dorms?"
"..."
Marionette stared down at her silently before quickly thinking of an excuse.
"You suddenly fell asleep in the Colosseum during my match. Luckily, Vellen and your mother didn't let anything happen to you before I got there."
Lillian watched as the Assassin gave her back her ID card before moving to clutch the handle of the door. The white-haired girl gave the woman an odd look before saying:
"What are you on about?"
She then said something that shocked the Assassin.
"Weren't we with your father?"
Marionette froze, stopping herself from opening the doors completely before turning her widened eyes down to the girl in her arms.
"Ex-...cuse me?"
She slowly pulled back the door and closed it.
Click.
Lillian, watching this, couldn't help but wonder why her girlfriend was giving her such an odd look. She shifted around a bit and asked:
"Could you let me down first?"
"... No. I like you in my arms. Now repeat what you said to me."
Lillian's face twitched at what she said. She sighed and leaned the side of her face into the woman's chest before muttering:
"I'm just asking whether or not we were just with your father. Or is it that I'm already going crazy?"
"..."
Marionette went silent again.
She then turned her attention back to the door and gripped the handle, pushing the door open.
Was... what she had intended to do before noticing that the door was now locked again.
She gave the door a deadpan expression before watching as the edges of a particular girl's ID appeared at the bottom of her vision.
"Here you go."
"Thank you..."
Taking it out of the girl's hand, she scanned the door and pushed it open. Only to find that Veronica was standing behind it, waiting for them. It seemed that she had heard her first opening the door.
