I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 269: End of The Match?

Once the cloud of dust had fallen and parted, what it revealed was a wall of swords that had acted as a makeshift wall against the explosion. However, due to the time it took for them to appear, they weren't durable in the slightest.

Several blades that made up the wall were cracked in cracks, burn marks, and even holes.

Holes that the burning shards had pierced through.

Jericko breathed heavily as the lower half of his body was littered with scorched holes—he could still feel the shards within his body, moving around and scratching at his internal organs.

He diminished his focus on the blade wall and allowed it to fall and clatter against the ground.

He then looked towards the woman, finding that she had disappeared.

He clutched his lower abdomen.

His body wasn't fit to fight, and he just needed a little bit more time for his teammates to respawn again.

However, as he was thinking this, someone slowly rose up from behind him, rising from the ground and out of a dark, oozing puddle that stretched around the soles of his shoes.

Jericko flinched, feeling something wrap around his legs and trapped them. It was as if he had stepped into a deep puddle of sticky tar.

He then felt something press against the side of his head and—

—BANG!

In the split second that Marionette had blown his brains out, she turned her gaze towards the crystal, shooting another bullet and causing it to explode upon impact with it.

Ultimately causing it to crack and making it spill out a bright blue light before exploding and encasing the entire world with its brilliance.

Marionette lowered her gun to her side, letting the light wash over her as she said in her head:

'I hope this was enough to satisfy her... It took too long.'

[Back at the Colosseum]

Lillian, watching as the screen turned off after displaying "Game Over", immediately stood up and began clapping proudly. This caused a few glances to make their way over to her figure.

But.

This caused the people and the entire Colosseum to erupt into claps and cheers for the excellent performance.

Millis, who was clapping her hands, turned towards Lillian and said:

"That gun sure was—"

However, she quickly realised that the girl wasn't actually beside her. She rapidly twisted her head around, trying to find the girl before giving an exasperated sigh.

"How the hell did she disappear so quickly?"

***

Lillian skipped along the streets, ignoring the guards who gave her curious glances before returning to their own work. The white-haired girl was in an extremely good mood.

And there were a multitude of reasons why.

First was her girlfriend winning her match and being able to do it by herself.

Second was that she was able to see her favourite weapon in action and even got to see it awaken.

There was a reason why she liked it. And the reason was that it was basically a powerful grenade launcher that shot blistering hot homing grenades.

Everyone loved explosions, especially ones that come from weapons.

'... This is making me sound like a terrorist now...'

Lillian held a finger to her chin, pondering with a thoughtful expression before eventually shaking her head and pushing the thought outside her mind.

She continued on to the Technological Building and soon enough reached it with energetic steps after a few minutes of walking. And squinting her eyes, she was able to make out a black-haired woman leaving the building with two men behind her.

It was Marionette and her teammates if they can even be called that, considering they were only used as bait to gauge the enemy team's strength.

Marionette, seeing Lillian rapidly approaching her, glanced back at the two men behind her and narrowed her gaze on them, almost threateningly, signalling them to leave.

Lillian raised an eyebrow at the two men, quickly leaving while throwing her subtle glances. She gave them a smile and a wave before reaching the woman's side.

She widened her arms and wrapped them around the woman's torso, bringing her into a tight hug as she pressed her face into the Assassin's chest.

Marionette, having finished glaring at the men, turned her attention back down to Lillian. She was a bit surprised by what the girl did but smiled warmly nonetheless.

She raised a hand to the back of the girl's head, stroking the back of her scalp before whispering:

"I missed you too. Did you enjoy the show?"

Lillian, tilting her head up, rested the bottom of her chin on the woman's chest. And smiled widely.

"I did! But... I feel like you could've won that a lot faster. You were right at their crystal after all."

Marionette, stroking the girl's hair, nodded softly.

"I could've. But I wanted to prolong the inevitable for your enjoyment. That... Isn't an issue, right?"

Lillian stared into the woman's eyes, finding it to be staring back with concern. The girl tilted her head at this before chuckling and tightening her hold around the woman.

Her hand went up and down, patting and rubbing the Assassin's back.

"No, no... It wasn't. You sure do like looking towards me for confirmation, huh?"

"Would you rather I didn't?"

Marionette stared down at her curiously but was also interested in what the girl had to say. However, before that, she added:

"I remember that you are one to care a lot about consent. Could it be... You sometimes want me to force myself on you?"

"W-what!?" Lillian shouted in disbelief, "Where the hell did you get that idea bout me?!"

Marionette shrugged playfully, continuing to pat the girl.

"Just speculating... Do tell me whenever you feel like that, though. I'll be sure to live out your fantasies—"

"Yeah, no. I'm definitely not!"

After giving a sigh, she looked back up at her, smiling softly before answering the Assassin's other question.

"We've only been apart for... Maybe an hour? I don't think that's long enough for someone to miss another."

Marionette silently blinked at the girl before stating:

"That statement is extremely false, Lillian."

Marionette then tilted her head, blinking at the girl—her smile curling up teasingly.

"You also make it sound like you didn't miss my presence... I'm awfully hurt."

Lillian's face twitched.

"You know for a fact that wasn't what I meant."

Marionette quickly retorted:

"You made it sound like you did. Perhaps I need to tutor you on that as well..."

Lillian watched the woman straighten her neck before leaning her forehead down and pressing it against her. The girl sighed, having heard what the woman stated.

"Yeah... Tutor... I feel like that's an excuse for more time with me—"

"Because it is." Marionette chimed.

Lillian's lips stretched into a shaky, thin line as she stared into the woman's eyes, finding it filled with a dark hunger for her.

Before anything more could happen, Lillian pulled away, preemptively avoiding anything that she wouldn't want anyone to see happen out of embarrassment.

Marionette frowned at her, pulling away before having her smile return back to her lips as she realised what the girl was trying to do.

She let out a rare chuckle and muttered:

"Adorable. You're always so adorable, Lillian..."

Lillian folded her arms and huffed whilst turning her face slightly to the side.

She then said stutteringly:

"I-I'm not adorable. I'm hot. Clear difference!"

After hearing Marionette chuckle again, she huffed before asking:

"So... How's that gun I gave you? Have fun?"
