I Reject the villain’s ending.

CHAPTER : 47

Episode 47.

“I’m sorry, sir. I’m afraid the saint is not feeling very well.”

“Oh, no, it’s all right. She’s paler than I last saw, so I thought she must be ill.”

“We should have been more considerate, I’m sorry.”

“I’m sure you’ll be fine after a little rest. Perhaps we should finish our meal quickly and return to the temple. Do you mind?”

“Of course.”

Iros wiped away my tears and pulled away from my hand, casually chatting to the royalty.

I leaned against him slightly, feeling my legs give out a little.

“I’m sorry to have startled you, I’m just not feeling well.”

“I’m worried, a holy woman not feeling well.”

The crown prince looked at Iros’s hand on my shoulder, squeezed the handkerchief I held out to him, and stuffed it into his pocket.

We resumed our awkward meal.

“Mmm. I’ve been meaning to give the Saint a taste of my meat pie, but I’m sure she’d prefer to eat something more digestible.”

“Chef, bring something new, something simple to help digestion.”

“I’ll have it prepared and brought out in a moment.”

“Oh, you don’t have to do that…….”

As I stammered in apology, the emperor, empress, and empress dowager spoke in unison.

“The patient should eat what he is comfortable with.”

“The patient should eat what he is comfortable with.”

“Patients should eat what they are comfortable with.”

“Uh, yeah.”

Oh, how we all say the same thing. I’ve heard it said that families run in circles, and I guess it’s true.

My eyes widen in surprise, and Riviere frowns cutely at me from beside me.

“My family is a bit like knives in this regard.”

I guess so.

“Oh no. Something’s gone wrong.”

Moringa clicked her tongue as she watched the chef prepare a new dish on the magically created screen.

“I didn’t account for the fact that the holy woman is sick and eating a different dish.”

“Klinkle. You made a mistake, old woman.”

“Shut up, Raki. I was going to give everyone a fair taste of the Last Supper, but alas, I must change my plans.”

Jess asked as Moringa stood up.

“You’re going to go and kill him yourself?”

“Of course not. There are plenty of other ways to kill it. Chief, I’m going to go.”

“Don’t come back until you’ve killed him.”

“You’re too kind.”

Smiling, Moringa swept his grey hair out of his face and disappeared.

Fortunately, the chef was back in no time.

He set the steaming, savoury-smelling dish down in front of me.

“Porridge?”

“I see you recognize it. It’s porridge, a food from the eastern continent. It’s a very comforting food for patients to eat.”

“It’s my favorite, thank you, Chef.”

I never expected to see porridge here, and it’s shrimp porridge with shrimp meat.

It reminded me of the porridge the director used to buy for me whenever I was sick when I was living in Kim Sowon, and I was instantly relieved.

“Thank you, Chef. I’d like to give you a blessing in return. Is that okay?”

“You mean for me, my dear, it would be an honor.”

“God bless you.”

A warm golden holy power spread from his fingertips and spread through the chef’s body.

He grinned broadly, thanked me, and walked away.

“Phew.”

I was about to take a breath and bite porridge when a piercing glance flew past me.

“……?”

Well, well, well.

“Why, is that how everyone sees……?”

“Hmmm. That blessing is a curious thing.”

“I’ve never seen holy power glow so golden, Chef, I envy you.”

“Blessing, do you want me to walk you?”

“No, not again. Heh, heh, heh. A sick man blessing us healthy people. Hehehe.”

His Majesty the Emperor? I can see the corners of his mouth turning up towards the sky.

The Empress, the Empress Dowager, Prince Riviere?

All but the crown prince’s eyes lit up.

”It’s not that difficult to bestow a blessing, right?

I’ve got a lot of divine power, I’ll use a little bit of it.

I smirked.

“I’ll give you a blessing to repay you for inviting me to the feast.”

“Hahaha. I’m a little nervous about getting a blessing from a saint herself.”

“Oh, me too.”

As I looked at the most exalted people of the country with their mouths hanging open, I thought that the country’s good fortune must be due to the merits of the subjects.

The imperial family must have been so gentle and kind that Sierra was able to eat them alive.

She moved her divine power like a hand, enveloping everyone but Iros, and moved her mouth reverently.

“Gods willing, may they be blessed with divine favor and a light for the future.”

“Oh.”

A brilliant light enveloped them.

Basking in its warm golden holiness, the Emperor clapped his hands with satisfaction.

“My High Priestess was also blessed, but not with this much energy. She is a daughter of the gods.”

“You are too kind.”

“Now let us eat. I hope the gruel is good. Heh, heh, heh.”

I finally picked up my cutlery. The people ate the meat pies and other delicacies the Empress had prepared.

Iros is eating because I’m not eating and he’s asking for porridge because he says he can’t eat, and the crown prince is eating because…….

“What are you doing?

He’s saying something to the servant. I turn my head and our eyes lock.

“……!”

“Saint, I know my face is the color of light blue, but are you going to look at me like that until it’s time to eat?”

“Ku, kuluk!”

“Saint, here’s your water.”

“Thank you, kolokolok.”

“Slow down.”

Iros patted me on the back and cast a frosty glance at the crown prince.

“Your Highness the Crown Prince, do not tease a sick man.”

“I will refrain, for he is, as you say, a sick man.”

Oh, how I wish I could refrain.

It’s hard enough to be humble with the royalty I’m supposed to have killed in the original story, but now I have to deal with the nervous war between Iros and the crown prince…….

“Ugh.”

“Saint?”

“I think I’m going to die…….”

The crown prince stood up and said with a pale face.

“Abba Mama, it seems that the saint is not in a very good condition, so I think we should let her rest, and the feast is over.”

“That’s right. You don’t seem to be in a very good condition, Saint, so please go and get some rest.”

“Considerate, grateful, whoops!”

“I’ll take the saint with me.”

“I’ll help you.”

“No need.”

Iros refused firmly and gingerly carried me out of the dining room.

She was followed by the crown prince.

“Saint.”

“……?”

Why. I didn’t even have the energy to answer.

I barely lifted my head, and the crown prince held out something.

“It’s a digestive pill,” he said, “I had a servant bring it to you from the palace physician.”

He said something else to the servant earlier, and I guess it was to bring me this digestive medicine.

I thought he hated me, but I didn’t expect such kindness.

“Thank you, sir, I’ll take it.”

I looked up at the crown prince with a puzzled expression as I accepted the brown bottle, holding it tightly in my hand in case I missed it.

“Then I’ll be off-”

Boom, boom, boom!

“……!”

“What was that?”

Everyone’s heads turned at the sound of breaking tableware inside the restaurant.

Then came a tearing scream from inside.

“Gah, gah, gah! His Majesty the Emperor, the Empress, the Empress Dowager, and the Crown Prince have fallen!”

“Guards, guards, it’s poison, call the imperial physician, now!”

“Your Majesty the Emperor! Your Majesty the Empress!”

“Damn it, Mother! Father! Riviere!”

What the hell is going on?

“Who the hell would poison…… in the imperial palace?”

In an instant, the palace was in chaos.

The crown prince squeezed the vial out of my hand and ran straight into the dining room, causing it to fall through my helpless fingers and shatter.

“Boo, Pink.”

“Poison. Are you all right, Saint?”

“I’m fine, but let’s get back to the dining hall. Quickly!”

“Excuse me.”

Iros scooped me up in a quick hug and ran to the dining hall.

Once inside, I saw the Emperor, Empress, Empress Dowager, and Prince Riviere lying on the floor.

Their faces were ashen, their lips purple and dry.

I felt a rush of déjà vu and emotions I couldn’t explain.

“No, no. Don’t die.”

I shambled forward, pushing through the crowd.

Then I saw the crown prince clutching the chilling bodies of the emperor and empress and wailing like a madman.

“Father, please! Mother, the imperial physician will be here in a moment, and you mustn’t close your eyes!”

“Get out of the way.”

“…A saint?”

“Get out of the way, I’ll never let you die.”

Thump, thump, thump. My heart pounded in my ears like it was about to explode.

Feeling the tension that threatened to explode, I poured out my divine power and enveloped them. There was a blinding flash of light.

The crown prince hastily raised his arm to shield his eyes.

“What the hell?”

“Don’t die, I’ll bring you back to life.”

“Saint…….”

“No one dies before me.”

One Eldrakis is enough for me to die. I will not let those I might kill in the future die as well.

“Saint!”

Iros shouted from behind, unable to reach me.

“This kind of divine power……! Uh, Sierra…….”

The holy power that had threatened to blind them all slowly faded, and they began to see a little more.

As soon as the crown prince was able to open his eyes, he quickly looked at the emperor and empress.

“Ha! Haaaa……. Breathe, breathe.”

The color had returned to their faces, though they were all pale.

Their skin was warm and their pulse was beating strongly.

“Did you save them?”

“Yes. Saint, you saved them.”

“Thank God…….”

“Saint?!”

My body shook, drained of strength from using so much divine power in such a short period when I was already in poor condition.

I saw the crown prince reaching for me, and as my vision blurred, I stumbled backward, only to feel a firm palm on the back of my head.

“Sierra!”

I don’t have to turn to see it’s Iros who’s wrapped his arms around me from behind, holding me up.

“Pink, did I save someone?”

“You did. I’m proud of you.”

“Isn’t it?”

Bashish smiles.

Iros bit his lower lip so hard it bled, forcing a smile.

“But don’t ever use your strength so recklessly again, especially when you’re not feeling well.”

“I know. I was wrong.”

I admitted weakly, leaning against Iros.

He looks like he’s going to cry if I don’t.

My pretty pink puppy.
