That aside, it was genuinely filled with outrageously expensive and priceless relics from the previous century.

Instead of a capsule bed, there was a real wooden bed.

Rather than an air purifier, there was a shower streaming clean water.

Despite her having ocular implants, there were still landscape paintings and an analog clock hanging around.

It felt as though this wasn’t the year 2196, nearing the end of the 22nd century, but an entirely different era.

Despite her delicate and pretty appearance, coarse language escaped her small lips. It was a mix of relief at surviving to greet another morning and the despair of once again staring at the familiar ceiling, knowing she couldn’t die. Secretly, the girl hoped the one who had thrown her into this existence would hear her.

Immediately upon waking, she indulged in the luxury of a warm shower, chewed on a pill containing all the necessary nutrients for breakfast while, still in her underwear, adjusting the transparency of the front window.

Thus, she forced the helpless home AI to serve as her emotional trash can. Gazing out of the window, she glared at Neo Haven, often called Emerald City.

Whether she’d achieve her goal and escape it or be consumed by it all depended on her own abilities. With the protagonist bound to arrive sooner or later, Anastasia once again plunged herself into the green glow of the city to earn Credits and resources for the day.
