I Became a Little Vampire Princess After Being Infected by a Game Virus

Chapter 57: Other Transcenders

Chapter 57: Other Transcenders

“Princess, what incantation were you just reciting? I remember teaching you the wind magic spells, but I don’t recall anything like that.”

After hearing Aierjisi’s incantation, Aisi felt puzzled. Clearly, he hadn’t taught her any such spell.

“Aisi-sensei, you wouldn’t understand. During these days, while I was ‘recovering my strength’ in the human world, I also learned a lot of things that our Blood Clan doesn’t possess. One of the human mages I encountered told me, ‘Other people’s spells merely teach you how to do it, but good mages create their own spells.’ So I put in the effort to come up with some new ones myself!”

Aierjisi countered Aisi using the logic she had picked up from those animated shows. In reality, she just wanted to show off with a little pixie magic phrase.

“I see. Hmm, it seems I’ve been trapped by the knowledge in magic books. During my slumber, this world has accumulated much new knowledge I wasn’t aware of.”

Aisi also benefited greatly from this, resolving to set aside his pride and humbly learn about the new things in this world, just like Aierjisi.

“By the way, Princess, there’s something very important I need to discuss with you. It’s related to the future of our Blood Clan… no, the future of the entire world.”

Recalling Gabriel’s message to relay to the Little Princess, Aisi was eager to share it right away.

“Can we wait till morning when I’ve sufficiently restored my energy? Right now, I just want to return to the inn and get a good night’s sleep. You shouldn’t be in such a hurry, right?”

Aierjisi yawned. After two intense battles today, she just wanted to rest now that she was full.

“No, this is extremely important! You must hear me out. The current situation is quite urgent.”

“Let’s discuss it back at the inn then. It’s not appropriate to talk about such important matters in public.”

Aierjisi reluctantly agreed with Aisi. From her memories, if she tried to dodge such a topic and Aisi insisted on bringing it up, it obviously meant it was crucial.

“Good. Then let’s hurry back. I’ll carry Yake first.”

Aisi hefted Yake onto his shoulder and headed back to the inn ahead of her.

“Ha… it seems that being transported into a game world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows; troubles keep piling up one after another.”

Once Aisi was far off, Aierjisi voiced her complaints. She couldn’t let Aisi and Yake know she was a transcender. If these NPCs discovered their world was merely written in code, it might trigger some unexpected bugs.

“First, let’s head back to the inn and find out what important matters Aisi has to share.”

Aierjisi picked up her pace towards the inn.

Five minutes later…

“Princess, you returned so quickly?”

Aisi, sprinting with Yake over his shoulder, was surprised to see Aierjisi already waiting at the inn. He had prepared to wait at the entrance for her, but she came back faster than he expected.

“Of course! Aisi-sensei, don’t forget—I’ve been living in this small town for almost a month. I know the fastest shortcuts back!”

Aierjisi beamed proudly at Aisi, relishing in outsmarting him as she always did.

“Well, well, that’s my Princess! Let’s head upstairs. We’ll discuss everything important in our room.”

“Sure! Let me carry Yake. After all, he is my servant, and it would be a bit wrong for you to carry him.”

“Not a problem! I’ve trained with Leo, so while I’m not as strong, I’m confident in my muscles!”

“Alright then.”

So, Aierjisi and Aisi returned to their room. They tossed the unconscious Yake onto the bed and sat on another bed, ready to discuss that so-called “very important matter.”

“While I was searching for you, I encountered Harker, who was looking for you too. We fought, but back then, I wasn’t fully recovered, and I was defeated by him.”

“Huh? Aisi-sensei, you were defeated by Harker? He didn’t seem much stronger to me when I fought him.”

“That’s probably because Harker was trying to capture you alive. To knock someone out, he naturally has to limit his magic power.”

“Oh, I see. Please, continue, Aisi-sensei.”

“While I was waiting to recover, an Angel appeared before me. She healed my injuries and fully restored my magic power. Thanks to her, I could rush over to help you take down Harker.”

“An Angel?”

Aierjisi frowned at the word. It was strange; in this world, Angels as a species didn’t exist, and even the concept of Angels was unheard of.

“Yes. She introduced herself as ‘The Messenger of the God, thus I am called Angel.’ Her name is Gabriel. After healing me and replenishing my magic, she said, ‘If you wish to reclaim the future of this world, please protect Aierjisi and let her join the other five Chosen Ones to save this world shrouded in chaos.’”

“Other Five Chosen Ones…”

After listening to Aisi’s words, Aierjisi furrowed her brows even deeper. If she recalled correctly, in the game, aside from Aierjisi, there were five other controllable characters, and these Chosen Ones, aside from herself, included five others, suggesting that this was meticulously designed. It seemed her transportation was indeed connected to that Angel named Gabriel.

“Did Gabriel mention the names of the other five Chosen Ones?”

To be safe, Aierjisi wanted to confirm whether the names of the other five corresponded with those she was familiar with from the game.

“I’m not sure about that, but Gabriel said you actually already know their names.”

“Tch, I see. Then I probably know who those five are, what races they belong to, and where to find them.”

Since Gabriel said that, it was as if she was informing Aierjisi that those five were like her—transcenders from Earth.
