“That’s right. I was saved by Aierjisi in those Ruins and became her servant.”
Yake recounted to Aisi how he met Aierjisi and how he became her servant during that time.
“So that’s what happened. Thank you for protecting the Princess all this time.”
“No, no, it’s nothing at all! My strength is just too weak; I can’t help at all. It’s actually the Princess who has been protecting me.”
Yake looked at Aierjisi, who was lying asleep on the bed. After the recent battles, he realized that, for the Little Princess, he was merely a burden. He couldn’t be of any use. If only he could become stronger, he’d definitely be able to protect her.

Aisi patted Yake on the shoulder. In front of such enemies, their current strength was insufficient for a direct confrontation. Losing was entirely normal.
“By the way, what was that stance the Princess showed earlier?”

“Speaking of which, why don’t you take a nap? Your injuries look pretty serious. Let me heal you.”
Seeing the wounds Yake had from fighting Harker, Aisi suggested he lie on another bed and let him treat his injuries.
“Thank you.”
Yake was already quite tired. He hadn’t really rested during the day, and after the fierce battle with Harker at night, he felt completely exhausted.
“Alright, go ahead and sleep. I’ll heal you.”
Under Aisi’s treatment, Yake closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep. However… this time, something unexpected happened.
“Where is this? Where am I?”
When Yake opened his eyes, he found himself not in the Inn’s room, but in a very strange space. There was no familiar sky or buildings around; only some cubes floating in the air.

“Aier?”
Seeing Aierjisi in front of him, Yake was still a bit skeptical since he had no idea where this place was.

“Yes, I am Yake. Aier, where is this? Why am I here?”
Yake looked around again. This space was unfamiliar, but Aierjisi seemed very comfortable here.
“This is my consciousness space. My mental domain.”
“Your consciousness space? Then why am I here?”
“I don’t know, but isn’t that a question you should be answering? Why are you here?”
“I’m not sure either. I fell asleep while Aisi was healing my wounds, and when I opened my eyes, I was already here.”
“Ah… I think I know the reason.”
Aierjisi frowned, likely having guessed the reason.
“What is it?”
“It’s probably related to the Contract we signed back then.”
“The Contract? Didn’t that just let us share lives?”
“No. The Contract not only allows us to share life but also connects both of our souls. It’s probably why you found your way into my consciousness space.”
“Alright. Then how can I get out of here?”
Knowing that this was Aierjisi’s consciousness space, Yake asked how he could leave.
“Why are you in such a hurry to leave? Did I say you could go? Don’t forget, you’re my servant now.”
Aierjisi smiled slightly. Since Yake was already in her consciousness space, she had no intention of letting him go that easily. Moreover, she had things she wanted him to help with.
“Uh… alright. But what am I supposed to do here? Won’t I be in your way?”
“No. On the contrary, you being here actually helps me. Come over here; I need your assistance with something.”
Aierjisi jumped to another platform, prompting Yake to follow her. Left with no choice, Yake jumped over.
“What is this? The color of this cube looks different from the others.”
Following Aierjisi, Yake arrived in front of a golden cube.
“I don’t know what this is, but I can say for sure that it’s part of my memories.”
“Memories? So, all the cubes in this space are your memories?”
Yake pointed at the other blue cubes floating around.
“Exactly! I told you, this is my consciousness space, and those cubes are my memories. But for some reason, this memory suddenly shattered, and I’m currently searching for the fragments. But if I rely on myself alone to restore it, I don’t know how long it’ll take to gather them all, so—”
Aierjisi turned her face to look at Yake.
“Okay, so you want me to help you find those memory fragments?”
“Smart as ever, Yake! That’s right, please help me look for those golden little cubes here.”
Aierjisi showed three golden little cubes in her hand, which were fragments of her memory.
“Alright. But I can’t guarantee I’ll find them today.”
“No problem! I didn’t expect to gather them all today either. But be careful, even though it’s my consciousness space, that doesn’t mean I control everything here, understand? You might encounter some dangers while searching for the fragments.”
“Got it. I’ll be cautious. Let’s split up; I’ll go look over there.”
Yake jumped towards the platform on his left, hoping to find the so-called memory fragments in this consciousness space.
