Chapter 143: Chapter 143: Gravitons
[Third Person's PoV]
"Sorry for the intrusion…" Uraraka said shyly, taking off her shoes and slipping into the guest slippers neatly placed by the entrance.
"Baymax! We have guests! Prepare a three-course meal!" Tony shouted from down the hallway, his voice echoing with a casual authority.
"Eh? You really don't need to go through any trouble—" Uraraka protested, waving her hands bashfully, but paused when she noticed the others looking at her with amused expressions.
Just then, Baymax waddled in, wearing a neat maid uniform over his plush, marshmallow-like frame. His voice calm and gentle, he asked, "May I take your coats and bags?"
Momo and Toru rushed forward, throwing their arms around Baymax in a gleeful hug. "Baymax!"
"Oh, how I missed you, you big marshmallow!" Toru exclaimed, practically melting into his embrace.
Momo simply closed her eyes, her face serene as she nestled into the soft comfort of Baymax.
Uraraka blushed, feeling a little embarrassed now that she understood why everyone was smiling at her. Melissa chuckled and patted her on the back. "You're strangely adorable, you know."
Uraraka covered her face, peeking through her fingers as she glanced at Momo and Toru, who looked completely at ease. Then Melissa nudged her forward gently. "I get it; you're a bit reserved. But go on, give him a hug! I know you want to."
With a shy laugh, Uraraka rubbed the back of her head. Then, her eyes brightened with stars as she joined in, hugging Baymax with a delighted smile.
Melissa looked over at Tony, grinning playfully. "Baymax might just be your greatest creation yet."
Tony scoffed, crossing his arms. "Hey, don't get me wrong—Baymax is fantastic. But come on…"
"Friday will remember that…" Friday's voice chimed in with a humorous note. "Your actions will have consequences."
Melissa froze, eyes widening like a deer caught in headlights, while Tony burst out laughing.

Later, Uraraka emerged from the dressing room, dressed in a sleek suit made from an Unstable Molecule fabric that seemed to mold perfectly to her form. She tugged at the sleeves, looking over at Tony with an uncertain smile. "Are you sure you're not planning to drug me and do all kinds of experiments on me?" she teased.
"Experiments, yes. Drug you, no." Tony arched an eyebrow. "What? You want anesthetic?"
Uraraka chuckled, holding up her hands. "Alright, alright, I'll stop teasing."
"Alright, ladies, hook her up," Tony directed, motioning to Melissa, Momo, and Toru, who stood by with an array of electrodes and wires.
The three girls stepped forward, carefully attaching sensors to various points on Uraraka's arms, head, and torso. As they worked, Tony explained, "These sensors will track the energy released when you activate your Quirk. Specifically, we're studying how it affects gravitons and the center of gravity."
Uraraka and Toru raised their hands simultaneously with questions. Tony sighed but went along. "Alright, here's the short version: gravitons are theoretical particles that carry the force of gravity at the quantum level. Basically, they're what pull us back down after we jump."
Both girls nodded in understanding, lowering their hands.
"Any more questions?" Tony asked, looking around. When no one spoke up, he continued, "The platform you're standing on can detect quantum particle shifts, so when you use your Quirk, we'll get a detailed reading. Ready?"
"Osu!" Uraraka replied, her face set with determination.
Baymax rolled up to the platform, setting down a hefty metal block in front of her.
"So I just activate my Quirk and pick it up?" she asked, tilting her head.
Tony nodded with a thumbs-up, eyes already fixed on the data streaming across his screen. Uraraka touched the block, her fingertips glowing pink as she activated her Quirk. The block instantly became weightless, floating effortlessly in her grasp.
"What's next?"
"Just hold it there as long as you can," Tony instructed, eyes flicking between her and the data.
Though the block was weightless, the strain of her Quirk began to show. "What's this thing made of? It feels heavy on my Quirk."
"Three tons of steel," Tony replied nonchalantly.
Toru's eyes went wide. "And you just have those lying around?"
Momo chuckled. "Tony has a bit of everything lying around."
"Alright, you can set it down," Tony said, typing rapidly to log the data. Uraraka released her Quirk, and the block settled back onto the platform with a heavy thud.
"Okay, Momo, you're next. Step onto the platform."
Momo's brow raised skeptically. "Wait… you want me to float?"
"Exactly. Science doesn't wait," Tony replied with a wink.
Smiling playfully, Momo raised a fist in mock determination. "For science!" She stepped onto the platform beside Uraraka. "Please be gentle," she joked.
Uraraka laughed, touching Momo's arm to activate her Quirk. Momo's body instantly became weightless, and she clutched onto Uraraka to steady herself as she floated, her feet slowly lifting off the ground and turning her upside down.
Tony studied his screen, muttering to himself. "Uh-huh… as I suspected. Alright, bring her down."
Once Momo was safely back on the platform, Melissa looked at Tony curiously. "So, what did you find?"
Tony used his symbiote and used it to project a hologram from his mind. The display showed a model of a person, their form made up of countless particles labeled "G" for gravitons. "Uraraka's Quirk doesn't just alter gravity; it creates a faint electric field. When she touches something, her Quirk sends an electric pulse that disrupts gravitons on a molecular level."
They all blinked in surprise. "So… I'm shocking gravity?" Uraraka asked, staring at her hands.
"Basically, yes." Tony nodded. "Think of gravitons like tiny magnets pulling things down. Your Quirk sends a small electric charge, breaking that pull and allowing objects to float."
"Whoa…" Uraraka marveled, flexing her fingers.
"The same pulse can mess with your own sense of gravity, which is why you get vertigo—it's momentarily disrupting your balance," Tony explained.
He gave her a grateful nod. "That'll be all. Thanks, Uraraka."
"Eh? Is that really it?" Uraraka blinked, surprised.
"Yup! I've got all the data I need to upgrade your suit and maybe make one for myself," Tony replied, grinning. "I'm basically making a suit that doesn't even need physical contact to activate your Quirk. You could send a pulse through your hands, and anything it touches would experience zero gravity. Of course, I'll add a few extra surprises, I don't want to spoil the final reveal. The final and extra surprises are always the best part of a suit reveal"
"Are you serious!?" Uraraka's face lit up with excitement. "Not having to touch things up close would be amazing!"
As Melissa and the others unhooked the sensors from Uraraka, Tony gathered his tools, ready to head back to his lab. "Alright, girls, you can have your sleepover or whatever. I'm going to be busy working on this, so try not to distract me."
"A sleepover?" Toru's eyes sparkled. "That's an amazing idea! Let's do it!"
