Afraid that Aunt Lily might change her mind, I hurried up to my room. God, I still can't believe how easy it was. I guess honesty pays off. When I went up to my room and saw the huge box waiting for me, my joy grew even more. I immediately headed towards the box and tore the cardboard box around it to pieces. Under the cardboard box, a steel box with a password was waiting for me. I opened the steel box by entering the password given to me by the seller. There were four different compartments inside the box. There were three different seeds and a tree branch respectively. The seed of the world tree, the branch of the world tree, the seed of the faciem anti venenum plant, the seed of the illimitata sanitatem plant, the last two were by far the most expensive options, they consumed almost all my savings.

The first was said to be an antidote to a hundred different poisons. The second, when the fruit was swallowed, had the effect of closing one's open wounds, depending on the size.

Contrary to popular belief, the seed of the world tree was not that valuable. At least it was cheaper than the branch of the Earth tree and the other two seeds. This was logical, after all, there was no place to grow another world tree in human lands. The branch of the world tree was by far the strongest wood. As strong as steel and, if necessary, as flexible as a spring.

Now I can start working on my hatsu. First I must master my skills as a conjurer and manipulator enough to produce and control the world tree on my own using wizardry.

I look at the tree branch rising from my hand, swaying from side to side like a snake, and finally it wavered and took the form of a rough sword. Finally, it dissipated into nothingness. I took a deep breath and then focussed on a random tree seed in my hand. The seed turned green and grew in front of my eyes, and a moment later I had a sapling in my hand. I examined the sapling for a while and when I saw that there was nothing missing, I made the sapling return to its seed state with another thought. Then, after taking a deep breath, I raised my hand, a water ball appeared on my hand and flew towards the target and flew quickly into the basin I was aiming at. Okay, I was ready, now all I had to do was adjust the oaths and other restrictions and complete my hatsu.

I took a pen and paper and started writing. I think this will make the visualisation and oath process easier. As far as I remember from the anime, the nen oath is not that difficult. At least Gon completed it without any preparation.

I picked up the paper and started to write, and as soon as I did so, I felt a subtle change in my aura.

And it happened, like the turning of a key, something changed in my nen. Something clicked into place.

I immediately made a dog seal to try it out. Suddenly a ball of water as big as my head appeared in front of me. It was both faster and about a quarter bigger than the same amount of aura I had put in before. Then I controlled the ball and made it hit the same basin again, and not only did I put more aura into the water more easily than before, it flew even faster than before.

Now I realised the importance of constraints. I had set three very simple constraints and the output of their techniques had increased enormously.

All right, now it's time for the second one.

Talent

The user creates a kind of tree that absorbs the aura of opponents it captures or comes into contact with.

Restriction

It uses various hand seals to produce trees. The amount of seals increases as the amount of trees to be produced increases. The number of seals can be reduced if the user is skilful.

Trees created by the user must grow from the ground. Once grown, it can be removed from the ground by contact with the user or target, but if both the user and target are removed, the tree will eventually die.

Talent

External plant manipulation

allows the user to manipulate the surrounding plants and the tree created by conjuring.

Hand gestures are required for overly complex instructions and or manipulations.

 The user feeds various plant seeds by transplanting them into his body. He can use these plants directly when he needs them, or he can choose to grow them. The world tree seed used for the technique can feed on the auras of opponents.

Restriction

A maximum of 5 plants can be in the body at the same time.

Plants can be changed, but when a plant is changed, all the growth of the plant is wasted and cannot be saved.

The world tree seed used in the technique cannot be changed.

The same thing happened again, there was a change in my aura as if a key had turned and I felt that my technique was complete.

Now the last step was left. I took off my top and took the three seeds in my hands.

This is where things started to go wrong; my aura enveloped the three seeds as if it was supposed to do this and they liquefied and started to seep into my body. At the same moment a huge wave of pain hit me. I suppressed my screams at the last moment. I didn't want everyone in the orphanage to flood my room. No matter how much I endured the pain, I finally succumbed and a peaceful darkness took me in its arms.

5 hours later

I woke up with a terrible headache. A moment later I felt every bone in my body hurt. God, this feeling is awful. I feel as if someone had run over me with a lorry and then, finding that insufficient, ran over me with a herd of horses.

I slowly got up from where I was lying. I managed to throw myself on my bed just before I fainted. When I saw the state of the bed, I lost my mind. There was so much blood and dirt that it was a miracle I could even wake up after bleeding so much. I was sure that at least half of my blood had spread to the bed. A normal person would have kicked the bucket by now. The only answer I could think of for me to still be alive was that the healing herb had done its job, but that didn't make sense either. I immediately felt my back. According to the plan, the seeds should be on the surface of my back, but I couldn't find anything. God, I'd seriously fucked something up. Kakuzu's earth grudge fear technique and Hashirama's wood style. trying to fuse them together was a terrible idea.

After barely getting into a meditation position, I started scanning my body using my aura. I had created this technique based on Senju Tobirama's memories. I was simply moving my aura around my body, trying to detect abnormalities.

I was shocked by what I felt in my body. The world tree seed, or what used to be the world tree seed, was spreading in a thin layer throughout my skeletal system. It was especially thick and strong in the spine. That seed wasn't even this big. Then the healing and antidote plants settled in the liver and kidneys. God, things had really gone wrong. I took a deep breath and immediately tried to grow the world tree. I needed to know if the technique would work. It worked, a small branch sprouted from the tip of my index finger. What was more shocking was that even though the branch grew through my skeletal system and pierced through my skin, there was no pain and no bleeding.

Just then there was a knock on the door and Aunt Lily's voice was heard. 'Tobirama, are you okay? You didn't come for dinner.'

'I'm fine, Aunt Lily. I just lost track of time while I was practising the technique I told you about.'

'Don't let it happen again.'

We dodged a bullet this time, and if Aunt Lily had seen me like this, I would have been devastated. I probably wouldn't even have got permission to go to the heavenly arena.

I had to do one last thing before I started tidying up. I wanted to confirm something, so I quickly prepared a new water divination for myself. When I injected my aura into the water, the leaf changed and grew into a miniature sapling. Oh, fuck. I had made myself special.

Now I need a little explanation. According to HxH's nen system, normally a person can only reach 100% specialisation in their own nen type. The only exception to this is specialists.
