Chapter 335: Chapter 335: You Understand
Seeing the murderous look on Mu's face, Hozuki Gengetsu couldn't help but laugh.
What Mu had thought, of course Hozuki Gengetsu had already thought of. He immediately expressed sympathy and laughed out loud. "What are you staring at? Hurry up and use Light and Heavy Rock! Are you planning to make me fly up there myself?"
Mu glared at Hozuki Gengetsu, his face full of anger.
Unfortunately, even with that, his body started forming hand seals without his control, and the technique he was forming was the "Super Light and Heavy Rock Technique."
Damn technique!
Then, they saw Mu's body slowly lift off the ground, heading toward Naruto.
Hozuki Gengetsu and Ai both froze. What were they supposed to do? Could the user really just watch them give up?
Was this user... insane?
That's just perfect!
The two of them almost wanted to clap in approval, but before they could laugh, they saw golden sand… No, not sand, but golden sand gold rising from the earth, turning into steps that fell in front of them.
They both turned and saw Rasa, looking frustrated, forming hand seals.
So, I'm the tool after all.jpg
Hozuki Gengetsu rolled his eyes. "Boring."
The next second, his body uncontrollably stepped onto the golden sand, and he started running toward Naruto's direction, following Mu's figure. Ai was also out of control, his body surrounded by lightning, moving faster than him by at least double the speed.
Mu laughed as he watched this, then nodded to Rasa. "You're not bad."
Rasa: "..."
Thanks, I guess~
In the sky, Naruto, who was flying at full speed, suddenly slowed down. His body froze for a second, then he turned and retreated. Almost immediately, a huge white beam of light shot up from below, brushing against his clothes and heading into the sky.
Though he didn't know what kind of technique it was, the feeling of danger in that moment was real. If that technique hit him, he would die.
Naruto's face suddenly turned serious. He looked down and saw Mū still mid-air, hands in a jutsu pose. Three floating clumps of golden sand hovered nearby, each carrying a person.
"They can fly too…" Naruto sighed. "Looks like I won't be able to save Gaara and Shukaku unless I deal with these guys first."
"You can fight while moving that way," Kurama said, looking at the four below. "With your defense, as long as you don't get hit by Mū's jutsu, the rest doesn't really matter."
"I'm in a hurry too," Naruto muttered, clenching his fists.
Golden chakra began to swirl around him—Six Paths Mode activated once again. "Should I go all out?"
The enemy would definitely try to block him. Fighting while moving forward would take real strength.
Naruto gathered his chakra, powering up to the max. "Kurama, what special tricks do those four have?"
"Special tricks?" Kurama perked up, suddenly excited. He pointed to each of the four and introduced them one by one. "First up, Batman—the second Mizukage, Hōzuki Gengetsu. He can create exploding lighters. No joke. And he's picked up some joker-style skills too—hurts you and entertains you at the same time. Totally broken."
Naruto: "?"
"Then we have Cloud Drive Warrior—the second Tsuchikage, Mū. His invisibility is even scarier than White Zetsu's. He's like a ghost that only lives in the cloud. Plus, he's got Dust Release, a one-hit kill. Total freak."
Naruto: "??"
"Next, the berserker—the third Raikage, A. This guy's so fast he can keep up with Flying Raijin. And just look at him—you know he's insanely strong. Even without Edo Tensei, he's still a nonstop powerhouse. Fast, strong, and just scary."
Naruto: "???"
"And last… uh, I can't think of any dumb lines. Just think of him as a bigger version of Gaara." Kurama nodded seriously. "Let's just call that one normal."
Naruto: "..."
Kurama, don't think I can't tell you're talking nonsense.
But what's weird is—Naruto not only understood the nonsense, he also clearly got Kurama's rundown of their powers. Which honestly gave him a bit of a headache.
"So to sum it up: one Genjutsu user who can suddenly burst out crazy Ninjutsu. One Ninjutsu user with great stealth and deadly Dust Release. One Taijutsu beast—super fast, super strong, and super tanky. And one oversized Gaara." Naruto nodded. "Got it."
"No wonder you're you," Kurama said with a thumbs up.
Naruto gave him a thumbs up too, but Kurama grinned and said, "Don't underestimate my nonsense."
Naruto was momentarily speechless.
When it comes to nonsense, he really couldn't beat Kurama. Total defeat.
Still, thanks to Kurama's nonsense…
Naruto's anxious heart had calmed down. Not because he wasn't in a rush anymore, but because now he could clearly understand the situation he was in.
"As long as I dodge Mū's Dust Release, the rest won't be too bad." Naruto made his final call.
While they talked, the four enemies slowly floated closer until they were standing across from Naruto. The wind high in the sky brushed past their faces, blowing their hair. It almost felt like some kind of epic showdown at the top of the world.
"So cold…" Hōzuki Gengetsu was the first to ruin the mood. With a full shiver, he hugged himself like he couldn't care less about the fight.
Naruto froze. That kind of mood-breaking line during a battle… why did it feel so familiar?
Mu ignored Hozuki Mangetsu's silly antics and spoke coldly, "Kid, do you know sealing jutsu?"
"I do." Naruto nodded honestly.
"Good." Mu nodded back. "In the upcoming fight, we'll give you hints on how to deal with us. Your job is to grab the right moment and seal us. If the caster sent the four of us after you, that means you must be strong enough."
After he finished, A picked up the conversation: "Or if you can undo this damn jutsu, that works too. We'll help you take down the caster."
"I really can't break the jutsu," Naruto said, scratching his cheek awkwardly. "And I'm sorry, seniors, I can't seal you right now either. I have to hurry and save my friend. There's not much time left."
Mu frowned. "Kid, you're a bit full of yourself."
He was talking like that even with the four of them in front of him. Sure, they weren't at full strength, but they were still at eighty to ninety percent.
"Sorry, but I don't have time to be polite." Shukaku was barely hanging on. Naruto might look calm, but things were urgent.
As he spoke, Naruto made a hand sign. He didn't use the golden Kurama—it was too big. Even though it was powerful, he could only use it once, and it would just become an easy target for Mu. It was better to go smaller, more focused, and make multiple attempts. Even if each one wasn't as strong, the numbers would make up for it.
What am I even talking about?
This is all your fault, Kurama!
