Honkai: You're telling me this difficulty is from Honkai Impact 3?!

Chapter 27: Finally Meeting, Himeko!

Running... Shu felt that he would despise the word for the rest of his life.

After yet another unknown period of frantic running, Shu stopped, at the brink of death, and glared at Kiana with exasperation.

Is this even a person?! If I was to ask everyone to be the judge, is this even a person?! She can carry a person on her shoulder and still run faster than me, who isn't carrying anything!

If she's normal, then what am I?!

Shu gulped down the fresh air, trying to recover.

Fu Hua, who had also been let down, also didn't look good. The two exchanged a look, with the bitterness of their situation unspoken.

"Phew, finally safe..." Kiana let out a sigh, then her stomach rumbled. "Ahh... Shu, I'm so hungry I could eat a cow..."

I suspect you could eat me whole! Shu rolled his eyes, then started to scan their surroundings.

These streets look familiar… The architecture of Nagazora City is all the same. After leaving the school, the sense of familiarity from my previous journey with Kiana returned "whoosh!"

"That's true. Other than medicine, we don't have any supplies left…" Fu Hua started to think about their current situation. "Food, drinking water, and other essentials…"

"I think we should look for…"

"What's that?!" Fu Hua's analysis was interrupted by Shu. She looked up and saw Shu and Kiana both looking in the same direction.

I have a bad feeling about this...

"Forget about looking! It's a convenience store!" Kiana cheered, then picked up Fu Hua and ran out again.

Shu: "??"

What did I say? Is that a person?! I'm about to die from exhaustion, and she still has the energy to run again?!

Fu Hua: "…"

I'm tired, let's just destroy everything already.

Walking into the convenience store, Shu glanced at the shelves and picked up an item to check the expiration date. "Fu Hua, have you guys been here?"

Fu Hua, who was sitting on a chair, shook her head, "I'm not sure. Since the disaster, I've never left the academy. Maybe other refugees were here and rested for a while."

Shu nodded, then frowned slightly. "Did you guys broadcast a message, letting the other survivors know about the academy?"

"No." Fu Hua shook her head.

"Kiana!" Shu's face turned grave, and he spoke in a low voice, "Wait before you eat, find the people in the store first!"

"Huh?" The two looked puzzled at Shu.

"Is… someone here?" Kiana was still not convinced, but she put down her food and started looking around cautiously.

Shu dropped the instant chicken drumstick that had yet to expire. "The shelves here have been messed with, but the high calorie foods and meat haven't been eaten. Either they didn't have time to take them, or they didn't have time to eat them.

"And if people came into a convenience store like this, they wouldn't have a reason to leave so quickly…"

"They might still be here!" Fu Hua finally understood.

Shu nodded, and was about to call out when Kiana suddenly shouted.

"Can anyone inside hear us! We don't have any bad intentions! Can we take some of your things?! We'll leave after we're done!"

Shu: "?"

"Kiana…" Shu opened his mouth, but he felt like he'd lost his ability to organize his words. After a moment of struggle, he barely managed to say a sentence that even he didn't understand.

"Kiana, have you considered… what if… what if they refuse?"

Kiana's face fell. She mumbled with dissatisfaction, "Then… then we'll just leave…"

Then, Kiana suddenly leaned in and whispered into Shu's ear, "But it's okay, I already stuffed my pockets with lots of food! Even if we leave now, we still got a deal!"

Shu looked down at Kiana's bulging pockets. "…"

I'm speechless again… utterly speechless!

"Kiana?" While Shu was deciding whether he should just run or take more of the loot, a familiar voice came from upstairs.

Shu looked up but could only hear the voice and not see the person.

"Auntie?!" Kiana froze and then rejoiced. "Auntie! Is that really you?!"

Shu saw a small head pop up from behind the railing, then disappear. Pop up again and then disappear again...

"Kiana! It's me! Himeko and I! Are here! Himeko! She's hurt!"

Theresa jumped up and down, piecing together a complete sentence.

Can't you just stand on something?! Shu thought. Then he turned his head and saw that Kiana had already run upstairs.

Then, Shu finally saw Theresa, who had been lifted up by Kiana and was spinning around.

"Wow! It really is you!" Kiana's laughter was filled with joy. It also showed that Theresa was struggling.

Shu sighed and felt that the world had become absurd… Only Fu Hua seemed like a normal person.

"Let's go, they might need our help." Shu quickly grabbed some food and went upstairs.

Theresa had finally broken free from her niece's embrace, and then she saw the bandage on Fu Hua's leg. Immediately, her face was filled with worry, "Fu Hua, your leg…"

"It's nothing to worry about, Headmaster." Fu Hua glanced at her wound and stomped her foot in front of Theresa. Shu gasped. "I've already treated the wound, and we also have some medicine. Himeko can probably use it too."

"You guys have medicine?" Theresa cheered. "That's great! I was worrying about how to find medicine!"

"The medicine is here with me." Shu quickly stuffed the food in his arms to a now-drooling Kiana and pulled out the medicine. "Only this much. Where's Himeko? Is her injury bad?"

"Himeko, she…" Theresa's voice softened, stuttering a bit.

Shu froze. Could it be that her injuries are bad?

"Heh, don't listen to her, she's just panicking a bit, just like a little kid." At that moment, a mature female voice came from the side.

Shu's heart tightened and looked over.

A woman with long red hair was leaning casually on the door frame. She was only wearing a large white shirt, along with some tight jeans. In her hand, she had a can of beer.

She looked at them all with a smile.
