Shu stared intently at Fu Hua, who had successfully matched his "code". A million alpacas stampeded through his heart.

Shu decided to test this "potential hometown buddy" further, "How about... Palace Jade Liquor?"
Fu Hua's face grew serious. Shu thought she had finally realized that something was wrong.
However, Fu Hua's reply had Shu unsure if he should be relieved or disappointed.
"That poem... I'm sorry, but it doesn't ring any bells." Fu Hua searched through all of her memories, but couldn't find the poem. She could only sigh at the limits of human potential.
"Haha, no worries, I just made it up. It wasn't a real poem." Shu laughed it off, and Fu Hua nodded, not asking any more questions.
"By the way, did you also learn that set of memorization rules? You know, sign follows the quadrant." Shu decided to dig deeper since his "quasi-hometown buddy" had that kind of presence.
"Yes, writing is very amazing, isn't it?" Fu Hua nodded. "Before, to help Kiana pass her exams, I came up with many of these mnemonic devices, but Kiana had a habit of mixing them up and they were not very effective."

Bronya, holding the Homu backpack, looked at Kiana and Mei. Then, she looked at Shu with a dark expression and then finally looked at Fu Hua.
"Bronya can sleep alone."
"This…" Kiana hesitated, looking at Bronya, then leaned closer to Mei, whispering, "There are still some empty dorms in the school, right?"
"Yes, don't worry," Mei nodded with a smile. "If Bronya is scared, we are next door, you can come look for us."
"What about you, Shu…"
Shu raised his eyebrows, "Don't worry about me, I can sleep inside a trash can."
"There are still a lot of dorms, you can find an empty one…" Mei said with a forced smile, her gaze at Kiana turning gentle.
Could Kiana really have slept in a trash can these days?
They agreed that they would rest, so they stopped chatting and quickly went to the dorm building.
Shu looked up at the two words "Female Dorm" written on the massive building, sighing.
I didn't think my first time in a female dorm would be like this… Today, Shu had already encountered countless baffling things.

"Ah!" Shu suddenly woke up, and instinctively used his hand to shield his eyes from the bright light.
A knock came at the door. Shu quickly adapted to the light and looked up, seeing everything around him clearly.

Shu shook his head, wiping away the last bit of confusion. He jumped out of bed. "I'm coming! I'm coming! I'm really coming! You can't pretend you didn't hear that!"
That was Mei's cooking! In his past life, after watching the Valkyrie's Table, he wanted to taste it more than once, but in the end, the only thing Shu could replicate was Kiana's toast pizza. Everything else was either too difficult or he didn't have the ingredients. Only toast pizza was simple.
