By the time Jackal realized her meticulously crafted plans were rendered useless, Divine City Pharmaceuticals had already been significantly dismantled by Rita and Xia Chen.
Within this facility, they uncovered the entirety of Project Stigma.
In simple terms, its core objective was to distribute all instances of Honkai evenly among every human, thereby preventing the birth of the Finality Herrscher. However, the cost would be immense—apart from a few individuals with potential for expressing Stigmata, the rest would inevitably perish.
This was the essence of Project Stigma:
Cold and merciless.
Its sole purpose was merely to preserve the kindling of humanity.
Jackal chose Tianqiong City for experimentation due to its large population, providing ample samples for data collection. As for those who died... it held no significance to her.
Xia Chen suddenly felt weary.
Although this simulation posed no real danger, he couldn't ignore the harsh reality that most humans were utterly defenseless against Honkai. In truth, humans weren't much nobler than domesticated livestock.
"Miss Rita, I believe my task is now complete."
He disregarded Jackal further, seeing no need to engage with her any longer.
However, Rita perceived this as giving her ample time to act. It must be noted, the retired soldier indeed possessed keen insight.
Unbeknownst to her, Divine City Pharmaceuticals had already been emptied before implementing Project Stigma, leaving behind only a hollow shell.
Despite his anger, Jackal hadn't lost his rationality yet.
He still had one final recourse, but it was reserved for the Herrscher sent by Schicksal's 'divine will.'
While Xia Chen and Rita were gathering information about Project Stigma, Kiana secretly infiltrated the facility as well.
Through their conversation, she learned everything about Project Stigma.
"Kevin, he's still pursuing this plan."
"Kiana, such plans cannot continue," Fu Hua, within Fenghuang Down, couldn't help but interject, despite being overlooked. "Project Stigma is a last resort when all hope is lost for this era's civilization. But we have not reached that point of despair yet."
Fu Hua, having experienced the previous era, retained crucial memories even though many others were lost. In fact, she held an even more pessimistic view than Kevin.
Kevin intended to leave finding ways to combat Honkai for the next era, but Fu Hua believed there might not be a next era. The brilliant talents from the previous epoch had yet to emerge in this current age.
However, Kiana paid no heed to these concerns.
Only after Rita and Xia Chen left did she slowly let out a sigh of relief.
The simulation abruptly ended.
Following the System's cold notification, 'Kiana found and sabotaged Project Stigma information, leaving Tianqiong City,' signified the conclusion of this event.
There was no sighting of the Tianqiong Meteor; it seemed like just another ordinary Honkai incident had concluded.

With nothing particularly noteworthy as rewards, Xia Chen felt groggy upon waking up.
"As expected, with my influence, there is only Tianqiong but no meteor."
While undoubtedly beneficial for the people of Tianqiong City, it might not be favorable for Kiana.
He had dismantled all the necessary hardships she should have faced. As a result, her current mindset lacks the resilience needed to control the power of the Herrscher of the Void.
Now, she resembles Seele in many ways.
However, unlike Seele who has the affectionate support of her "other self," Kiana's relationship with Sirin is fraught with conflict.
Xia Chen shook his head.
This wasn't something he should dwell on; he had merely done what was within his power.
As for Kiana's future, it didn't significantly impact him. Moreover, he trusted that Otto would have plans to address any issues.
With some time still available, Xia Chen headed towards the training room.
As expected, it remained brightly lit inside.
Durandal and Rita were not present, nor was Kiana.
Instead, Wendy, Susannah, and Alvitr were practicing.
Seeing Wendy and Susannah training made sense, but why was Alvitr here?
Curious, he approached them to greet.
"It's rare to see you at the training room. What happened? Are you worried about gaining weight lately?"
"Let's remain good friends if you keep those thoughts to yourself." Alvitr pursed her lips, casually responding, "I've been sitting too long in the technical department recently, just need to stretch my muscles."
"And, I'm also doing this on someone's request."
"Who?" Xia Chen's curiosity piqued.
"Oh, your little sweetheart, of course."
Glancing at Wendy exercising nearby, Alvitr whispered to Xia Chen, "Ana is concerned about Wendy's condition and asked Susannah and me to spend more time with her."
"Of course, Wendy usually trains alone, so we also get some exercise while keeping her company."
"In fact, just a few days ago, Ana was personally accompanying Wendy herself. However, she has been busy lately and entrusted us with this task."
Wendy had a pleasant personality but was quite introverted. It seemed only around Gretel did she show a more outgoing side.
Xia Chen felt that Ana's worries might be unnecessary, as Wendy possessed extraordinary resilience. But considering Ana's concern stemmed from her role as captain, he didn't voice his opinion.
"Well, you both have my gratitude for supporting her."
"It's no trouble at all," Alvitr casually replied. "Susannah is naturally carefree and doesn't mind, and I haven't had much else going on lately."
"I'll go talk to Wendy now." With these words, Xia Chen headed towards Wendy.
Wendy had actually noticed Xia Chen's arrival earlier; after all, there were few men at Schicksal Headquarters, and among those regularly active in the training room, Xia Chen was the only one.
As Xia Chen approached, she gradually stopped her exercises and wiped away light perspiration with a towel draped over her shoulder.
"Have some water."
Xia Chen held out a bottle of saline solution.
"Thank you." The girl softly replied, "Is there something you needed?"
"Hmm, must there always be a reason for me to seek you out?" he asked half-jokingly.
"No, that's not what I meant," Wendy quickly shook her head.
Carefully observing Xia Chen's expression, she realized he wasn't upset and then bravely continued, "It's just that usually, you don't come looking for me unless it's important, so I thought..."
Taken aback, Xia Chen promptly apologized, "I didn't realize that. My apologies."
"How have you been adjusting here? Never mind, I'm not good with words anyway. It's been several months now, so even if it wasn't comfortable initially, you've likely settled in by now."
A hint of amusement flickered in Wendy's eyes as she nodded.
"Yes, this place is indeed much more comfortable than the Ocean Branch. At least there aren't endless social obligations here."
Her sentiment was genuine, not merely politeness.
Xia Chen realized there wasn't much to discuss with Wendy; he didn't need to reassure her either.
The young girl knew exactly what she desired and was diligently working towards it.
"Would you like some sparring practice?"
"Really?" Wendy eagerly responded.
