Honkai: Man(Sludge) From Future

Chapter 339: Elysia: I Am a Kind Little Pony!

"So this is the little pony you were thinking of? You wanted to turn me into this? ♪~"

This girl was nothing like the Fluttershy in Noldrei's memories.

But Noldrei's twisted sense of humor loved this kind of contrast. For example, Bronya was the loyal Rainbow Dash, the eternally gloomy Wendy was the optimistic Pinkie Pie, and the dishonest Cocolia was given the Element of Honesty.

These were Noldrei's earnest hopes for his little pony harem!

And this one was a heavyweight. Noldrei had deliberately chosen to create a cheerful and lively Fluttershy. What a truly monstrous guy.

Ely felt like maybe she had found the wrong person. This guy really did want to turn her into a little pony. He had even chosen one she thought was quite nice; the yellow body and pink mane made her gradually get used to moving around in this form.

The pony body gave Elysia a different sensation, but it didn't feel wrong. She skillfully used Honkai Energy to control the objects around her, and it felt no different from using her hands and feet.

"Oh?! This is interesting. So this is the pony world from your memories. It's very interesting♪~ When are you going to show me your other pony friends? ♪~"

Noldrei was more than happy to show Elysia the pony world he had created. In the past, not many people would discuss these things with him. Elysia truly was an understanding and beautiful girl; she quickly made him feel the thrill of successfully evangelizing his interests.

The most impressive part was that Ely's performance made it impossible for Noldrei to tell if she was faking it. It was obvious she genuinely loved little ponies.

She was just like him. From the first moment Ely saw the little ponies, she fell in love with these strange creatures.

"Are these the life forms you saw in the outside world? How interesting♪~"

The two ponies walked through Ponyville, also known as the Pony Town. The various houses here looked just like normal human ones, but all the inhabitants were ponies, which filled Elysia with curiosity.

"Do you always end your sentences with that flirty, artificial tone?"

Noldrei's pony wing tapped Elysia on her pony neck.

"Mmm~! Really, do I sound flirty and artificial when I talk?" Elysia, of course, knew what "flirty and artificial" meant. It described a bad woman who manipulated her tone and put on airs.

This made Ely a little unsure. After all, everyone was usually nice to her, and few had ever judged her tone of voice.

Noldrei nodded affirmatively. "Yeah. Even the matriarchal primitives I've met in the real world outside rarely use such a tone. Even if they do, they disguise it well, most of them putting on a pure appearance untouched by social ethics. At that time, they are actually very clear about what the patriarchal primitives are looking for."

"It's so infuriating, judging others with such a hypocritical attitude. I say it's better for everyone to just go out naked and let the hormones released by intimate physical contact be more real."

"At least the body's physiological responses won't deceive your feelings. The primitives outside are all so bad, most of them, whether matriarchal or patriarchal, are a bunch of cunning, deceitful, and numb individuals."

In just one short year, Noldrei had completely figured out the state of modern human society, understanding the tragic situation where humans currently viewed their own biology as the most real part of their life's meaning.

"Oh... so that's how it is..." Elysia really hadn't expected Noldrei to say such things.

She thought back to the tragic state of humanity during the apocalypse of her past. Even in the face of a world-destroying disaster like the Honkai, people still struggled to survive, crawling forward just for food and shelter for the next day.

Had humanity changed at all between the Previous Era and the Current Era? It seemed not much had changed. But to say there was no change at all...

Elysia felt that the appearance of someone like Noldrei was the strangest thing of all.

"What about you? How do you view the Honkai?"

"The Honkai? What's there to pay attention to? It's just like the plagues, natural disasters, and earthquakes that have appeared throughout history. What's needed is for humanity to unite and cooperate to resist them. The Honkai is just a slightly more powerful disaster. No matter how strong it is, the worst it can do is return humanity to the cruel state of cannibalism."

Noldrei had seen enough just from reading the history of ancient people. Too many cruel things were recorded there.

A world like My Little Pony had a strange healing effect on the people of today.

Cannibalism?

As one of the Flame-Chasers, Elysia had also witnessed similarly cruel scenes. However, the Herrschers of her time were not like the Herrschers of today.

Which was crueler? Forcing people back to an age of cannibalism, or wiping out humanity in one fell swoop while they remained ignorant?

Elysia truly didn't know how to choose between such options. If possible, it would of course be better if everyone could live happily ever after.

"And you? How does the Current Era plan to fight the Honkai and escape from this disaster?"

Elysia shook the mane on the back of her neck. Her eyes felt a little strange now. She didn't know if it was because she had turned into a pony, but she could even see the Noldrei pony clearly without turning her head.

"There's no difference between the Previous Era and the Current Era. Civilizations have always been built up through inheritance and development. It's just that the way humanity organizes itself at certain stages has differed."

Noldrei sighed at this point. "Just like how money and power have made people see each other differently, the time difference between the Previous and Current Eras has also made everyone see each other's image differently."

"My idea is not to think too much, and to continue letting people do what they want to do. If they find that the Honkai has become a roadblock in their way, then they will naturally focus their efforts on fighting it."

"Before that, what I need to do is to prevent certain humans from holding the power to 'shift the conflict' in their hands."

"Only I, as the Emperor, can decide where the conflict turns. How could these guys possibly know how miserable future humanity will be? Everyone living forever, constantly fighting, always creating new life... Do these primitives know how painful that situation is?! No! They don't, so I must make them feel the pain!"

Noldrei's face was filled with sorrow. The thought of humanity turning into that state of endless struggle filled him with immense grief.

Elysia seemed to want to say something, but in the end, her words were suppressed by the absurd and bizarre feeling of it all.

She couldn't help but burst out laughing, the sound of the kind little pony's laughter echoing through this memory of Ponyville.
