Hokage:madara level start

Chapter 59: ch-59

Time passed slowly, and another day slipped by.

Originally, the plan was to set out yesterday and begin the conquest of the remaining four great ninja villages.

But…

Uchiha Madara was worried about his younger brother, Uchiha Izuna, so he chose to postpone their departure by a few more days.

Leo, however, wasn't in any rush.

Thanks to the memories he carried from another world, Leo understood the value of patience and recovery. He was more than willing to give Izuna time to heal and return to a better state before stepping into the battlefield again.

Unfortunately…

Izuna's Mangekyō Sharingan was lost.

Now, he could only rely on the Three Tomoe Sharingan that Princess Tsunade had transplanted and adjusted for him.

Without the Mangekyō, Izuna's combat strength was undeniably inferior to what it had been during the Warring States period.

Leo silently contemplated whether he could draw a special item from the system—something that might allow Izuna to awaken his Mangekyō once again.

But for now, Izuna could only make do with the Sharingan that Leo had gifted him.

---

After his surgery, Izuna had spent just a single day in the hospital ward before stubbornly insisting on being discharged.

Now, it was the afternoon of the following day.

Once again, the scene was set in the remote hills behind Konoha.

The usually peaceful back mountain had become a bustling hub of activity.

Leo, Uchiha Madara, the Akatsuki members, and even Uchiha Izuna—his eyes no longer bandaged—stood in attendance.

In addition to them, an impressive roster of Konoha's finest had gathered: Tsunade-hime, Jiraiya, Nara Shikaku, Kakashi Hatake, Yuhi Kurenai, Mitarashi Anko, Shizune, and several other high-ranking Jōnin.

All had heard the rumors.

All had come to witness the miracle.

---

Leo stood silently in front of a coffin, his expression calm and composed.

"This is your brother's coffin?" he asked softly, his eyes fixed on the sealed box.

"Yes…" Tsunade replied, her voice subdued and filled with emotion. She gazed at the coffin solemnly—it was the final resting place of her younger brother, Senju Nawaki.

Without hesitation, Leo responded, "Alright. I'll keep my word. Then…"

He turned his head slightly.

"White Zetsu!"

"Understood, Lord Madara!" came the response. White Zetsu and many others of his kind emerged from the earth like ghosts returning to the living world.

Over the past several days, more than 50,000 White Zetsu had been quietly relocated and buried beneath the back mountain of Konoha.

They were ready for this moment.

---

As the eerie forms of the White Zetsu surfaced, many of the spectators couldn't hide their astonishment.

Uchiha Izuna, Tsunade-hime, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Yuhi Kurenai, Shizune—all stared in amazement.

Everyone wanted to see it for themselves: how such an impossible technique—resurrecting the dead—could truly work.

Leo gave a simple nod toward the original White Zetsu, who understood immediately.

"Ninjutsu: Reincarnation Technique!!" ×50

Fifty White Zetsu raised their arms simultaneously, beginning to channel their life force into the forbidden spell.

When they resurrected Uzumaki Nagato, it had taken ten White Zetsu—nearly all of whom withered and died afterward.

Two days ago, during Uchiha Izuna's resurrection, thirty White Zetsu had performed the technique. This time, only five or six had perished, likely because their collective vitality had been higher.

Now, fifty White Zetsu were attempting the spell together. The hope was that the additional numbers would reduce the fatality rate even further.

Zzzzhhhh—

A blinding light exploded from the center of their formation. The immense vitality they unleashed swirled together, forming a massive energy beam that surged directly into the coffin Tsunade had brought.

"Nawaki…" Tsunade's eyes welled with hope.

The process looked eerily similar to how Uchiha Madara had been revived just days earlier.

---

"So this is the Reincarnation Technique… That forbidden spell that can bring back the dead. I see—it uses the user's life force," Jiraiya muttered, analyzing the process with a sharp eye.

Kakashi, Nara Shikaku, and the others nodded, silently taking mental notes.

Standing to the side, Uzumaki Naruto and Haruno Sakura had also joined the crowd, both visibly stunned.

Naruto's expression grew complicated.

Watching someone be brought back from the dead… it was impossible not to think of his own parents.

Could they be resurrected too?

Unfortunately… Leo wouldn't offer resurrection freely to just anyone.

---

"Nii-san… Was I also resurrected this way?" Uchiha Izuna asked, eyes wide with wonder.

He was still adjusting to being alive again, and the scene unfolding in front of him left him deeply moved.

Madara placed a firm hand on Izuna's shoulder, his gaze fierce and protective. "Izuna, I won't let anyone hurt you again."

"Nii-san…" Izuna whispered gratefully. Then, he turned toward Leo—his other "brother"—with equally sincere eyes.

Suddenly—

Bang! Bang! Bang!

From inside the coffin, they all heard rapid pounding. It sounded like someone was trying to escape from inside!

The Reincarnation Technique was complete. The fifty White Zetsu stopped casting.

Only two White Zetsu had died.

The remaining forty-eight looked weary but still alive. They would recover quickly with chakra replenishment from the Gedo Statue.

---

Tsunade clutched a cloth bundle in her arms.

When she heard the sounds from the coffin, her tears finally spilled over.

Then, without hesitation, she launched herself forward—

BOOM!

With a single mighty punch, the coffin lid shattered and flew into the air.

And there he was.

Inside the coffin lay Senju Nawaki, blinking and breathing—his eyes darting around in confusion.

"Nawaki!" Tsunade cried, diving forward to embrace him.

"…Sister?" Nawaki mumbled, still dazed.

But the warmth of Tsunade's tears on his shoulder told him it was real.

He was alive.

---

Yuhi Kurenai, Mitarashi Anko, Kakashi, and others stood rooted to the spot.

They had just witnessed the dead come back to life with their own eyes.

And with that came something dangerous—hope.

Could those who died during the Fourth Great Ninja War be brought back too?

Asuma Sarutobi… Gekkō Hayate… Hyuga Neji… Nara Shikamaru's comrades…

Even Hatake Sakumo, Kakashi's father.

And what about Jiraiya?

None of them could suppress the flood of emotions rising within.

---

"Nawaki, change your clothes," Tsunade finally whispered, regaining a bit of composure.

She passed him the bundle in her hands.

Leo had casually mentioned earlier that when someone was resurrected after being dead for a long time, their clothes might decay or disintegrate.

So Tsunade had come prepared.

"Alright." Nawaki smiled and nodded.

He began changing into the new clothes while still in the coffin, modestly turning away.

Meanwhile, Tsunade stood and turned toward Leo.

Under the astonished eyes of every person present…

She walked slowly to the man everyone still called "Uchiha Madara."

Then—wiping the last of her tears—she bowed deeply to him.

"…Thank you," she said, her voice trembling, "for bringing Nawaki back."
