"But..."

Menma frowned as he turned to Naruto. "Even if Naruto's background was concealed, that would make sense. But shouldn't someone have at least taken care of his upbringing?"

He crossed his arms, his expression darkening. "Even if we ignore his status as the Fourth Hokage's son, and even if we ignore everything else, he's still Konoha's Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, right?"

The others exchanged glances.

Naruto stood in silence, his small frame looking even more fragile under the scrutiny. Even compared to himself, Naruto was obviously shorter than Sasuke—shorter than even Haruno Sakura.

"This is indeed our failure..."

Kakashi Hatake sighed, his voice weak.

"This yellow-haired kid is Konoha's Jinchūriki, isn't he?"

Zabuza Momochi, standing off to the side, glanced at Naruto before shaking his head. "Isn't this the way all Jinchūriki grow up?"

Jinchūriki—those who carried the monstrous power of the tailed beasts. They were always feared, hated, and shunned. This was the fate of every Jinchūriki, no matter what village they were born in.

"As expected..."

Kakashi Kuro sighed. "The way we handle Jinchūriki, the way we treat them... It's outdated and inhumane."

Silence fell over the group.

Senju Hashirama, the First Hokage, remained quiet.

He had been the one to create the concept of Jinchūriki, along with his wife, Mito Uzumaki.

But in the end...

Rather than maintaining peace, the existence of Jinchūriki had only fueled more wars, causing even greater suffering. It had become a tragedy that all Jinchūriki were forced to endure.

An Unexpected Proposal

"I have a question," Kakashi Kuro said after a long silence. His dark eyes shifted between the visitors before settling on one person. "What exactly do you want by revealing your identities to us? And more importantly, what do you intend to do with us afterward?"

His tone was sharp.

If these people truly came from a parallel ninja world, then their arrival couldn't be without purpose.

No one would believe they came here just for a friendly chat.

"What is your objective...?"

His gaze swept across the entire group before stopping at Sasuke.

"Uchiha Sasuke."

Sasuke felt a shiver run down his spine.

What?

Why did they suddenly call his name?

His heartbeat quickened.

Suddenly, the masked Kakashi Kuro smiled, his visible eye narrowing.

"As the captain of the advance team from the No. 1 Ninja World, I officially extend an invitation to you, Sasuke."

"!"

Everyone froze.

Sasuke blinked in confusion.

An invitation...?

"We would like to invite you to our world," Kakashi Kuro continued. "Would you be interested in seeing a version of the ninja world that has developed along an entirely different path?"

Sasuke took a moment to process the words.

"Huh?"

A Sudden Uproar

Naruto, who had been brooding over his past moments earlier, instantly snapped to attention. His emotions flared, and his voice rose.

"What do you want with Sasuke?!"

He clenched his fists.

Even though Sasuke could be arrogant and irritating, Naruto knew one thing for sure—Sasuke had protected him before.

Back on the Great Naruto Bridge, Sasuke had risked his life, shielding him from Haku's Ice Release attack.

And now these guys wanted to take Sasuke away?

No way!

Naruto stepped forward.

"If you wanna take Sasuke, you'll have to go through me first!"

Kakashi Hatake, standing beside him, was calmer but no less suspicious. His sharp eyes narrowed.

"Why Sasuke?" he asked coldly. "What do you gain from bringing him to your world?"

Kakashi Kuro didn't hesitate.

"Because Sasuke is special."

His answer was vague, offering no real explanation.

Sasuke's fists clenched.

What did they mean by 'special'?

"At this point, you wouldn't understand," Kakashi Kuro admitted.

In reality, the reason was clear to him.

Sasuke was the current reincarnation of Indra ÅŒtsutsuki's chakra.

If he were taken out of this world, the Sage of Six Paths—Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki—would be unable to interfere with this world for a while.

And that, for them, was a major advantage.

Sasuke's Decision

Sasuke took a deep breath, pushing past his initial shock. His mind was already processing the implications of the offer.

"What do I gain if I go with you?" he asked, his voice surprisingly calm. "And what do I have to give up?"

Kakashi Kuro smiled.

"You don't have to pay anything," he said. "You only need to go there. Once you arrive, if you want to learn, we'll provide knowledge. If you want to grow stronger, we'll help you train."

Sasuke's fingers twitched.

To be honest, he was tempted.

Menma—this person from another world—was his age but possessed power beyond any Kage-level shinobi.

If Sasuke could gain that kind of strength...

If he could truly become that powerful...

Then his revenge against Itachi would be within reach.

Doubt and Caution

Kakashi Hatake frowned.

"Sasuke, don't be reckless!" he warned. "Nothing in this world comes without a price. Why would they offer you so much for free?"

"That's right, Sasuke!"

Naruto's frustration deepened.

"They're lying to you!"

Even Sakura, usually more reserved, quickly nodded.

"Yes! You can't trust them!"

Sasuke hesitated.

They were right.

The more he thought about it, the more suspicious it seemed.

Was there really no catch?

He clenched his jaw.

"I... I need to know more about you first," he finally said, his voice steady but cautious. "I can't make a decision without understanding who you are."

Menma chuckled.

"That's a fair request," he agreed. "Since you're interested, let me tell you about the history of our empire."

Sasuke and the others listened intently.

"I've heard you mention 'His Majesty' before," Kakashi Hatake remarked. "Is that the title of your ruler?"

Menma's expression changed to one of reverence.

"Yes," he confirmed. "The empire we come from rules over the entire planet—the land, the oceans, even the Pure Land of spirits and beyond. Our empire's reach extends to the moon, to other dimensions, and even alien worlds!"

His voice carried unmistakable pride.

"And His Majesty is the one who governs it all—the supreme ruler of our world."

Naruto: A World of Betrayal

Naruto's expression darkened.

Everyone had turned against him at some point.

His own village. His own people.

His trust had been shattered too many times.

And now...

Now they wanted to take Sasuke away too?

The thought burned inside him.

Naruto's fists clenched tightly as he stared at them.

He wouldn't let them take Sasuke without a fight.

Not now.

Not ever.
