Hearing this, Chiba smirked. "If I just listen to you and go down, wouldn't that be too embarrassing?"

Seeing that he couldn't shake off Chiba, Nine Tails decided to vent his fury on the others instead.

The beast's massive maw opened, gathering a swirling mass of black, red, and blue chakra.

"No! Nine Tails is about to unleash a Tailed Beast Bomb! Stop it now!" Hiruzen Sarutobi shouted urgently.

Upon hearing this, Jiraiya, Gamabunta, and Hiruzen all attacked, wielding the transformed staff-form of Enma, trying to disrupt Nine Tails before it could release the devastating technique.

But Nine Tails didn't just stand still. Despite being trapped within the barrier, it twisted and shifted its massive body, dodging their attacks.

Within moments, the Tailed Beast Bomb was nearly fully formed.

Suddenly, several thick chains shot out, far sturdier than the ones Uzumaki Kushina had summoned before. They wrapped tightly around Nine Tails' mouth, forcing it shut.

With its energy flow interrupted, the Tailed Beast Bomb gradually dissipated.

Chiba turned toward the source of the chains, already guessing who had done it. As expected, Uzumaki Mito, still sitting on the ground, had summoned the adamantine chains using the Adamantine Sealing Chains technique.

However, after executing the jutsu, Mito's life force seemed to fade almost entirely.

Seeing this, Chiba knew they couldn't drag this battle out any longer.

Without hesitation, he teleported to Gamabunta's head and looked at Jiraiya. "Jiraiya, you and the Hokage keep Nine Tails occupied from the front. I'll teleport this toad behind it for a sneak attack."

Jiraiya, realizing the plan, nodded without hesitation. "Got it!"

With that, he leaped off Gamabunta's head.

Now alone on the toad's back, Chiba crouched down and placed a hand on Gamabunta's head. "Big toad, are you ready?"

Gamabunta snorted. "I've been ready! Just hurry up!"

Seeing Sarutobi Hiruzen, Jiraiya, and Tsunade launch another barrage of attacks at Nine Tails, Chiba activated the Flying Thunder God Technique.

The massive beast, struggling against Uzumaki Mito's chains while enduring an onslaught of jutsu, failed to notice the sudden presence behind it.

At the critical moment, Gamabunta swung his massive sword, aiming to sever one of Nine Tails' tails.

But just before the blade connected, Nine Tails' innate perception flared.

Sensing the attack, the beast stopped worrying about the foes in front of it and summoned all its strength to break free from the adamantine chains.

With a deafening roar, the chains snapped apart.

At that exact moment, Gamabunta's sword cleaved through the air, striking Nine Tails' tail.

Everyone held their breath, waiting to see if the attack succeeded.

However, instead of slicing clean through, the blade merely sank into the thick, iron-like flesh.

Nine Tails, realizing the toad had dared to wound it, snarled in fury.

Without hesitation, it began forming another Tailed Beast Bomb—this one smaller but charging at a much faster rate.

Gamabunta's instincts screamed at him. "Kid, get me out of here—now!"

Chiba didn't hesitate. He activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, teleporting them both away just as the bomb fired.

Though they had escaped, the forest behind them suffered the full force of the explosion. A fiery inferno erupted, and the resulting shockwave flattened everything in its path.

Chiba whistled, watching the devastation. "Damn… Just a few more of those, and Konoha would be wiped off the map."

At that moment, Tsunade landed on Gamabunta's head, looking at Chiba with urgent eyes. "Chiba, what do we do now?"

Chiba exhaled, steeling himself. "Leave it to me."

His plan was simple—push his body beyond its limits by forcibly opening the Seventh Gate of the Eight Gates technique.

He hadn't originally planned to use this power yet, as his body was still too weak to fully handle it. But at this moment, there was no choice.

"Gate of Wonder—open!"

A powerful burst of chakra erupted from his body, forming a blue steam-like aura around him. The sheer force of it nearly knocked Tsunade off her feet.

Tsunade, understanding the urgency, nodded and leaped away.

Soon, the barrage resumed, and Chiba teleported onto Nine Tails' back once more.

Gripping the Thunder God's Sword tightly, he channeled all his power into it. His body burned with the force of his unleashed chakra, and an overwhelming killing intent surged through him.

With a mighty roar, he brought the sword down.

A flash of cold, deadly light cut through the air. It was as fast as lightning, carrying the weight of a world's fury.

A single tail fell.

Blood sprayed into the sky, forming a crimson mist as Nine Tails howled in agony.

Enraged beyond reason, the beast immediately gathered chakra for another Tailed Beast Bomb.

But Chiba was already gone.

In the blink of an eye, he reappeared beside Uzumaki Mito. "Mito-sama, seal it—now!"

Despite her fading strength, Mito didn't waste a second. Using the last of her energy, she performed the sealing technique.

"Four Symbols Seal!"

As her hands formed the final sign, the severed tail transformed into pure chakra and was reabsorbed into Mito's body.

In an instant, her pale complexion regained color, and her aura became much more stable.

Meanwhile, Nine Tails thrashed wildly, realizing what had just happened.

"YOU DAMNED INSECT! YOU CUT OFF MY TAIL!"

The beast's roar shook the heavens as it glared at Chiba with murderous fury.

"I'LL TEAR YOU APART AND DEVOUR YOU!"
