Andy said, swinging his wand with his right hand. The silver-white Fat Cat Patronus instantly condensed, and then a red light lit up all over it as it rushed straight at Snape.

Snape's pupils shrank at the sight.

Is he... abandoning his defence?

In this round of confrontation, although Andy was prepared, Snape had, after all, seized the initiative. The moment the Fat Cat Patronus was formed, Snape's spell had already reached Andy.

It was obviously too late to defend at this point.

Seeing the spell beam approaching, Andy calmly raised his left hand and slapped it directly at the spell beam.
