Healing System

Chapter 310: Free Time

"See you later," Michael waved at Lila, who, with a shy look, merely walked away, not responding.

She was caught up in the heat of the moment earlier, and now, everything that had happened began replaying inside her mind.

Obviously, she submitted to him like some easy-going woman—or that was how it might've felt for her.

That's what I'd say she was thinking if I try to put her into my shoes... Michael chuckled.

From being arrogant to obediently begging for his cock.

I wonder what's going to happen the next time we meet? Michael wondered as he strolled through the streets.

He had no set destination in mind, and he could still vaguely feel Celeste and the other girls roaming around the streets, so he didn't bother interfering with them.

I guess I finally have some alone time, Michael let out a relieved sigh as he summoned his white wings and shot up into the air.

In the very next moment, he picked a random direction, which just so happened to be east, and swiftly flew there.

Since this world was infested with demons, naturally, he could use many of them as target practice.

And of course...

You can open the curtains or something, unless you were watching the entire time? Michael snickered.

[Fuck no,] the system scoffed. [I've had to plug my ears for the last day because of how disturbing I found it. Thank God it's finally over.]

Well, I wonder if it'll be over for long? She seemed pretty into me, after all, Michael added.

[Well, I have an idea,] the system stated. [Use all the mana you have in the halo to make me a body. I want to roam around.]

Oh? Sure. Michael immediately agreed.

He had former knowledge on how constructs worked, so he could literally make the system a perfect body.

Of course, there were some limitations, such as him not having the God Core for the time being.

However, that was fine—he could imitate it.

Therefore, Michael focused on the halo.

Immediately, he noticed that there was around 834% mana gathered, which was a bit surprising considering there wasn't that much during the tournament.

Nonetheless, he shrugged it off as him subconsciously putting some in while he was asleep until finally, he thought of a body.

Since the system was literally him, just slightly different, he modelled the body right after himself, making it slightly shorter so he could make fun of the system in the process.

And soon, a golden body emerged, lacking any noticeable features.

However, that was fine, as the system merely cleared its throat and jumped over to that body.

Unlike what he had done with the Eldritch beings, he didn't make the body bind itself to the host, since after all, if the system disappeared now, there would be some obvious troubles he'd have to face.

Such as... being bored.

Nonetheless, after just a few seconds, the golden body began moving, its features morphing into ones resembling Michael's until finally, it was done.

"Hmm..." Mikhail hummed in amusement, inspecting his body before sending a glare toward Michael. "I'm short."

"Ah... my bad. I've never done this before, so naturally, I messed up some basics," Michael replied, scratching his head while bullshitting straight through his teeth.

"That's true... It would be strange if you got all the proportions right, but on the bright side, you didn't mess up the mana channeling. Now, I can run around while you're out there having fun with women," Mikhail remarked.

"Why don't you get a girl or two for yourself?" Michael asked teasingly, but Mikhail merely shook his head.

"While I might be bad with women, the amount of times I've had sex rivals that of Zeus. If anything, we are rivals."

"Holy shit... so what, is the number in the billions or something?" Michael asked, in awe.

However, Mikhail shook his head, his finger pointing upward.

"Higher? Trillions?"

Yet Mikhail shook his head again and pointed his finger upward, signaling that it was much higher.

"Yikes..." Michael said, backing off. "You sure are a lecher, aren't you?"

"I don't disappoint," Mikhail shrugged. "Anyhow, do you wish to spar? We haven't trained in a while."

"Gladly," Michael agreed.

While it was a bit strange talking to himself about women, most of whom he didn't even remember, it was a fun conversation.

Definitely beats killing some random demons, since even as he was thousands of kilometers away from the city, there was still nothing.

Nonetheless, Michael desummoned all of his swords of light before neatly bringing his fists forward.

Mikhail raised a brow. "Do you believe you can beat me with just your fists?"

"Yep," Michael chuckled. "I'd be surprised if I don't."

After all, while he didn't absorb the knowledge of every woman he had slept with, the knowledge regarding combat was deeply engraved inside his mind.

If he had to translate it all to skills, then each of them would already be maxed out—whether it be hand-to-hand mastery, swordsmanship, or anything of the sort.

That was also probably the main reason why he was somewhat able to compete with Lila despite her mastery.

But of course, even if he was good at something some time ago, it didn't mean he would be good now.

Therefore, he didn't get too overconfident, and the moment Mikhail readied his stance, the spar began.

Michael lunged forward, the ground cracking beneath his feet as he reappeared before Mikhail, his fist outstretched.

But of course, it wasn't going to be so easy, as Mikhail merely tilted his head, dodging the incoming fist.

However, that was Michael's plan in the end, as the moment the fist was dodged, he performed a leg sweep, slightly grazing Mikhail's heel.

Of course, he wasn't able to knock him over that easily.

He's still me, but just with most of the memories combined, Michael thought.

Yes, he had the advantage of currently being alive, but Mikhail was the original.

The one before time, the first light, all that bullshit.

But of course, those were only titles, and what mattered most was the fact that Michael was currently in possession of the God Core and would eventually become a god.

That was why Michael used Mikhail's momentary confusion and performed an overhead kick.

Mikhail attempted to dodge by simply kicking Michael's knee, but it was to no avail.

After all, he was a healer.

Why should he care about some broken bone?

Therefore, Mikhail's kick landed on Michael's knee, shattering it.

But Michael's momentum didn't stop as the overhead kick landed directly on Mikhail's shoulder.

Immediately, a loud crack resounded from the realistic bones Michael had made, which now meant Mikhail's shoulder was at the very least dislocated.

From the surprise on Mikhail's face, he knew it was much more.

"How's that for an attack?" Michael said with a grin, receiving a fierce glare from Mikhail.

"You broke the body."

"I did?" Michael tilted his head in confusion. "It shouldn't have broken that fast though?"

"Your attack made a bone pierce straight through my lungs, heart, and even the stomach. It's fatal," Mikhail stated nonchalantly. "I believe this body is about to die soon, so I'd appreciate it if you could insert some more mana."

"You sound like a slot machine or something." Michael sighed, walked up to Mikhail, and using 80% of his total mana, repaired the body while also reinforcing it.

The broken knee had healed pretty much in the same moment he was attacked—more like a natural response.

But he was a bit curious...

"Why didn't you heal yourself? Or defend yourself even?" Michael asked.

"I couldn't. To block your attack, I would've needed 79% of my mana. However, due to you using every last bit of it to create the body, I was left with nothing," Mikhail replied with a shrug. "Basically, what I'm saying is, the fight was unfair since the start."

"Excuses." Michael snickered before suddenly receiving a punch straight to the face.

It was so fast that he couldn't even dodge.

But as he flew back and hit the tree, he was met with another fist flying straight toward him.

However, this time, Michael was ready, so he merely tilted his head to the side, evading the punch which collapsed the tree behind him.

Nonetheless, that was only the start, as Mikhail sent a knee toward Michael's abdomen, which he redirected by using his palm before dashing away.

Finally, he had some breathing room and sent a glare toward Mikhail.

"Mate, where's the 1, 2, 3, go?"

Mikhail scoffed. "1, 2, 3, go!"

In the very next moment, Mikhail materialized right beside Michael, attempting to strike him again.

However, it didn't play out like last time, as Michael merely sent a sideways kick right at Mikhail's abdomen, making it cave in as he flew backward.

The fucker is boosting himself with time magic... but I can do that too, Michael thought, rolling his eyes.

He didn't make it too obvious, but of course, the spar was still going to be more difficult.

But what was a little difficulty when he could beat Mikhail's ass for the first time in forever?
