Harry Potter: I Am Big D

Chapter 116: Chapter -115 Trip to Azkaban.

Chapter 115

This fight ended with a three to seven outcome.

Mr. Weasley got punched in the eye, while Lucius got punched in both eyes and was also struck in the waist by either George or Fred.

In the end, he used the snake cane, which usually stayed by his side, as a crutch and limped away with Draco.

It is clear that Mr. Lucius, who has led a life of comfort for many years, is far less adept in hand-to-hand combat than Mr. Weasley, who occasionally has to do some farm work. Moreover, having many children is indeed useful.

After this farce, Gilderoy Lockhart's new book signing event could not go on, and in the end, it had to be hastily concluded. Of course, Lockhart was actually quite happy about it.

Dudley could already imagine tomorrow's newspaper headline: 'Shocking: Two adult male wizards brawl in the street over…' and the purpose of the fight would be to seize Lockhart's new book. If he were Lockhart, he would ensure the Daily Prophet wrote it that way; it would definitely give the new book a bit of a buzz.

"Setting such an example in front of the children. How would Gilderoy Lockhart feel about the ruckus you have caused?" Mrs. Weasley kept reprimanding Mr. Weasley. She was a devoted fan of Lockhart. In the past, aside from being the best-selling novelist, Lockhart had also earned the nickname "women charmer" He really knew how to position himself.

After buying the new book, they were preparing to leave with Harry when they received another invitation from Mrs. Weasley.

Dudley politely thanked her and promised to visit them next semester, but on their way out, he exchanged a brand-new complete works of Lockhart for Ginny's second-hand textbooks from the cauldron.

They planned to stay at Privet Drive for the rest of the holiday. Hermione was also going home for a while; they had spent enough time away, and even if their parents had secrets to keep from them, it was time to be with them for a bit.

In the following days, Dudley and Harry behaved themselves, focusing on daily exercise, reading, and studying.

Surprisingly, Vernon had not gone out to fish or drink with Mr. Granger; instead, he stayed home with them. As an executive, he also had vacation time he could take.

Even though Vernon's role at home was limited to taking out the trash and mowing the lawn, having family around felt different than being alone. Harry was gulping down the little sausages Aunt Petunia made; he hadn't tasted them in almost a year and missed the taste dearly.

"Slow down, slow down, you'll choke," Petunia poured a glass of water and handed it to Harry, "No one is fighting you for it, Harry." After resolving their issues, there was a noticeable change in Petunia's attitude towards Harry, especially after Dudley entered Hogwarts; it was at least a 160 or 170-degree shift, if not a full 180.

Really, no one was fighting? Dudley had already finished a whole pot, and if he didn't eat quickly, he would only be left with three large bowls. "I'll make you another batch for dinner," Petunia said happily, seeing her food being devoured so quickly.

For children, nothing beats a mother's cooking; it's the best and irreplaceable. "Looks like the food at Hogwarts is terrible," Vernon said, lying on the sofa with a large tub of ice cream. He liked doing this every summer, savoring a big mouthful before mumbling, "Definitely not as good as the food at Smelting School; I've been eating there since I was little."

"Hey, Vernon, can't you set a good example for the kids? Who eats ice cream first thing in the morning? Do you know what your body fat percentage is now?"

Vernon pouted at her words and, with a face of grievance, put his spoon back down. "It's fine, Mom," Dudley said, swallowing the last piece of sausage, "I've already prepared a weight loss potion for Dad."

Hearing about a potion specifically for weight loss, Vernon instantly perked up. "How does it work?"

"It can make you lose thirty pounds instantly."

"Thirty pounds?" Vernon looked at his belly, which was so large he couldn't see his toes, and instantly lost interest. "That's no better than nothing."

"If you lose a hundred pounds at once, your body won't be able to handle it." Rapid weight loss isn't good, even with potions; no matter how effective, progress should be gradual.

Vernon took a sly glance at Petunia, finding her not paying attention to him, and stealthily reached toward the ice cream tub he had set aside. "And starting today, he has to exercise with us," Dudley added.

Before he could take a bite, Vernon heard Dudley say this and felt as if struck by lightning. With a clang, the spoon fell to the ground.

No way.

Given Dudley's morning exercise routine, it would be a miracle if he accomplished one-tenth of it in a day.

One-finger push-ups? Hilarious; he could just stick his belly out and not use his fingers at all.

"Absolutely not, absolutely not." Imagining himself trying to exercise made Vernon's head shake like a rattle. In short, it boiled down to one sentence: exercising was impossible—he would never do it, even if it killed him.

That night, after dinner, four figures appeared outside the Dursleys' yard.

Why four?

To keep an eye on Vernon, Petunia also came along.

Pleasant days passed one by one, and soon it was time to say goodbye.

It was the start of the second year at Hogwarts.

As before, Vernon drove Dudley and Harry to King's Cross Station, where they met the Grangers, as arranged before their arrival.

"Remember to call home. Um, send a letter," Vernon muttered.

"I'll have Hedwig send it," Dudley thought about whether he should also get an owl or something else; he couldn't always use Harry's Hedwig, although Harry and Hedwig didn't mind.

Platform nine and three-quarters.

At this time, many little wizards had already entered the hidden platform, and it was peak time.

Just as the three of them rushed toward the pillar marking the platform, Dudley suddenly felt that sense of

being watched again.

"Wait." He blocked Harry and Hermione: "Something's not right."

He had grabbed them, but it was peak time, and the other little wizards just wanted to get in as soon as

possible.

So, they dashed straight toward the pillar.

Then the person who got hit was sent flying.

"What happened?" Ron, who arrived late, happened to see this scene. He had just gone to the 'restroom' and

hadn't followed his three brothers and sister.

Dudley walked up to the pillar, knocked on it, and the muffled sound was like a normal stone pillar: "It seems the entrance is blocked."

Due to the sealed entrance, the spells that used to apply to the passage seemed to have lost their effect, which drew the attention of many Muggles.

They cast unusual looks at them, and the patrolling security guards came directly toward them.

"I'll deal with the Muggles first," Mr. Weasley said at this point, having just gone to the restroom with Ron.

With a flick of his wand and a spell, the ordinary people around them suddenly shook and turned to leave; even the security guard did the same.

In a while, the entire station was left with only wizards.

Oh, maybe not.

There was still Dudley.

"The time's running out, if we don't get in, we'll miss the train."

The little wizards around were anxious, especially the first-years, as it was supposed to be their first day of attending the school.

Mr. Weasley waved his wand at the pillar a few times, but there was no reaction. He stared at it for a long time

without finding the issue.

"D-Bro." Ron tugged at Dudley's sleeve and whispered, "My dad has a flying car; why don't we..."

"Ron." Dudley said, sizing him up until Ron felt uncomfortable: "Why are you trying to give your dad a trip to Azkaban?"
