Harem System: Spending Money On Women For 100% Rebate!

Chapter 220: Kyle Unravels. [FIXED 6/2/25!]

There was no one who knew what Kyle was going through except Cassandra, she had a rough idea of what Kyle was going through but now she couldn't stop thinking about him.

That single event made it impossible to get him out of her mind and this also meant that it increased her emotional attachment to him.

That was how feeling worked, you could have a random dream about someone you never truly noticed in your daily life and that dream would serve as the catalyst for interest.

Once the mind fixates on something, there is no way to escape it.

"There is something off about Kyle," Cassandra thought to herself but it was beginning to show that Kyle's actions were affecting his various relationships in different ways.

All the women in his life had attained a level of curiosity but this was normal when it came to a potential mate.

Cassandra knew that Kyle was rich but knew nothing about him except what he had told her.

She also wondered if he was in a dangerous line of work because the way he casually announced that he was stabbed was strange.

It was almost like it was a normal occurrence and for her son's safety, she needed to know what kind of man she was letting in her life.

Even though the benefits that came with it were something she couldn't live without.

She would have lost the case long ago if Kyle hadn't intervened and was aware that this was her mind-spirited.

Her thoughts, in no way, shaped reality and she knew this much but there was nothing she had asked Kyle that he didn't answer.

She simply hasn't been asking the right questions but that was about to change.

Cassandra was focused on the case but Justin was at her door, knocking even though she had no intention of opening the door for him because she was aware that he was up to no good.

Cassandra knew she had enough money to get a new house but she wanted this case to be over before making any drastic decision.

If she got full custody, she planned to disappear without a trace and make it impossible for Justin ever to find her.

Suddenly, the knocking stopped and this went on for a couple of minutes.

"Has he gone?" Cassandra was hopeful and decided to confirm if this was the case.

She peeped through the window and there was no sign of her ex-husband.

Cassandra knew she had to be careful because Justin could get a little crazy if he didn't get what he wanted.

But his face suddenly popped up right in front of the window, startling Cassandra.

"Cassey… Please…" Justin pleaded and Cassandra could see the desperation in his eyes.

But that soft spot she had for him that he had exploited throughout their marriage was gone.

All she felt was disgust looking at him right now, wondering what it was she found attractive about this man in front of her.

"Get out, Justin," Cassandra and she could tell that Justin was shocked by the words coming out of her mouth.

It wasn't laced with anger, it was soft spoken but it was her eyes, those were the most telling signs.

There were no emotions behind them and Justin smiled to himself, he didn't know if he should be proud of her for breaking the shackles he had around her or feel sad that he could no longer exploit her.

"Is this the end, Cassey?" Justin asked but hearing him calling her made her recoil.

"Don't call me that… Don't ever call me that again," Cassandra responded before shutting the blinds.

A smile crept up on her face because she had regained the power she lost during her time with him.

Kyle was done with his therapy session and only then realised how much he needed it.

He felt vulnerable, Kyle didn't like it because of his memories.

That woman made him doubt them with her subtle body language change but there was one thing she didn't do and that was make him feel judged.

Paying a stranger to listen to his problems felt weird, how lonely was such a life especially when he had people that would gladly do it for free.

But it wasn't their job to be his emotional tampon and that was why people like these existed in the first place.

People always make that mistake and this creates pressure in their relationships because it forces people to show up in ways they aren't capable of.

The last thing Kyle needed was to feel like a liability and Susanna made sure this was the case.

Kyle was on his way home as he needed to enjoy his newfound freedom.

Jane was out of the house so he had it all to himself, cohabitation was a difficult thing and Kyle liked Jane's presence but needed that alone time to clear his head.

This was something he couldn't do as long as she remained in his home.

Kyle arrived at his house shortly, he wondered if Nate was able to convince the woman to join their cause.

There was only so much an OF model could do once it was out there in the world.

It would always come back to bite them in the ass as this would put them at a disadvantage when job hunting in the everyday world.

Background checks were one of those things that became a requirement overtime especially if the place of work was anywhere respectable.

Kyle heaved a sigh of relief and arrived at his place in no time.

He wondered if Jones was alright because it was unusual for him to be quiet for this long.

He hadn't even thanked him and knowing Jones, there was a low chance he had forgotten.

However, Kyle didn't need to wait long because he saw Jones leaving the building just as he pulled up.

Jones' head was buried in his phone so he didn't see Kyle.

Kyle walked up to Jones before he could get into his car and whispered.

"You're welcome,"

This startled the older man and Jones nearly stumbling was proof of this.

Kyle reached to catch him so he wouldn't hurt himself.

"Don't touch me!" Jones barked at him but Kyle couldn't tell if he was messing around or not.

"Are you okay? It is me," Kyle told him wondering if Jones didn't get a good look at him but with a single look into his eyes, he could see Jones' anger directed at him.

Kyle knew there was only one thing that could get a man like this.

"I see. She told him," Kyle said with a hidden smile on his face because this single act showed that there was not only hope for Jones' marriage but that Aiysha was truly a good woman.

"You're disgusting, Kyle," Jones blurted out but for some reason, Kyle wasn't offended because Jones spoke the truth.

"Ha! No lies there but it isn't what it looks like," Kyle confessed.

There were multiple times where he could have taken advantage of Aiysha but kept himself in check because of the respect he had for Jones.

And it was ironic that Jones was reacting this way considering he was the one that cheated in this marriage. Not that Kyle was judging as he knew the circumstance of their marriage, it wasn't based on love but a lack of option on Jones' part.

"You find that funny!?" Jones barked but Kyle remained calm.

This reaction was valid but this was the first time he had seen Jones get out of character.

It was like his mask had dropped and Kyle got a closer glimpse at a side of him he kept under wraps.

"Your anger is justified, I did cross a line and I would be lying if I said I didn't have a dirty thought or two…" Kyle confessed but Jones could tell this man didn't regret his actions.

"However, I did not act on those thoughts…" Kyle clarified.

"What the fuck is wrong with you man? THAT'S MY FUCKING WIFE!" Jones barked at Kyle.

"... And she still is," Kyle responded.

Jones didn't know how to feel about this and before he knew it, his fist found Kyle's jaw.

The punch packed enough force to send Kyle tumbling to the ground.

Jones instantly regretted his action, looking at his fist in disbelief as the people around began to take note of the commotion.

He expected Kyle to retaliate but all Kyle did was smile at him.

"That was a nice punch…" Kyle's tone was indifferent but Jones knew the punch might have been too much however he wasn't thinking straight.

Jones hopped in his car and drove off, leaving Kyle to pick himself off the ground.

Kyle didn't look particularly worried like he expected this to happen.

He just stared blankly at the faraway car.

"Love is violent, huh?" Kyle muttered under his breath with a smile.
