Chapter 52: Chapter 52 Summoned

As long as the target's Aura Defense is sufficiently dense, even if God Hand successfully hits the target, it will not be able to separate them successfully. This may be related to the fact that Law's Nen Ability is still too weak.

Because a large amount of Aura happened to gather on Uvogin's fist, forming a buffer zone, it prevented God Hand from achieving its intended effect during that brief moment of contact.

This information was something Law hadn't realized before because he had only used God Hand in battle twice, once to kill Cook and another time to sever Hisoka's Bungee Gum.

If he had known this information in advance, Law would not have aimed the sphere towards Uvogin's fist, but towards the arm which has less Aura.

The battle continues.

This time, Law took the initiative to attack, and a sphere the size of a basketball appeared above his hands again.

Uvogin also instantly entered combat mode. Seeing Law rushing towards him, he once again infused his Aura into his right hand and began to charge the Big Bang Impact.

"I won't give you the chance to charge up."

In the blink of an eye, Law crossed the distance of more than ten meters and came in front of Uvogin.

Although Big Bang Impact usually requires three seconds of gathering Aura, it can still be launched after just one second, but the power will be weakened.

Seeing Law approaching, Uvogin punched him without hesitation.

At this time, Law made a very risky decision. He put his hands together and blocked Uvogin's fist directly.

Uvogin was surprised when he saw this, while Machi and Nobunaga, who were watching from the sidelines, were shocked and wondered if Law had lost his mind.

Bang!

The expected catastrophic outcome didn't happen.

Law firmly caught Uvogin's punch.

The Aura that had gathered on Uvogin's fist for a second was directly separated by Law's Nen Ability, rendering the Big Bang Impact as harmless as a wet firecracker.

"So, it's really your Nen Ability."

Uvogin quickly realized. When he realized that his Big Bang Impact was neutralized, he immediately swung his left fist at Law's abdomen.

Law's response was even faster. Holding onto Uvogin's right fist with both hands, he abruptly retreated while pressing Uvogin's extended right arm downward, causing Uvogin to lose his balance and miss his left punch.

With Uvogin's upper body tilting forward due to the imbalance, Law seized the opportunity to deliver a powerful knee strike to his chin. At the same time, he let go of his hand and knocked Uvogin away.

Uvogin's massive body soared through the air before crashing heavily to the ground.

Being hit on the chin, Uvogin felt dizzy. When he tried to shake off the dizziness, Law was already by his side, with his hand in the shape of a palm knife hanging on his neck.

Once the dizziness subsided, Uvogin looked at Law's palm knife hanging on his neck and let out a reluctant growl of frustration.

Law smiled slightly, opening his hand into a gesture of peace and extending it toward Uvogin. Understanding the gesture, Uvogin grasped Law's hand and stood up.

After the combat training ended, Nobunaga was the first to jump out and teased, "Uvogin, that's your hundredth loss!"

Upon hearing this, Uvogin glared at him and said angrily, "You're almost there too, you know."

However, Nobunaga just said proudly: "All I have to do is not fight with Law."

"…" Uvogin was left speechless.

Machi walked over, looked at Law, and asked curiously: "Law, can your Nen ability really take away someone's Aura?"

Law nodded and said, "Actually, I was trying to separate Uvogin's fist, just like when I dealt with Cook, but there might be too much Aura on Uvogin's fist, so when I touched it just for a moment, I couldn't sever his fist but ended up cutting off his Aura instead."

"Well, at that time the Aura on my right fist was gone instantly, and even affected the Aura in my arm. Moreover, for about a second, I can't pour Aura into my right fist." Uvogin thought carefully about the situation in the battle just now.

"Is that so..." Law fell into deep thought after hearing that, and at the same time, he conjured his book.

'There was no Uvogin's name on the fifth page. Was it because God Hand only affected Uvogin's Aura and not any part of his body?'

Law originally thought that simply separating the enemy's body parts would have the disadvantage of not being able to cause fatal damage, but now, there is an additional factor that he needs to pay attention to.

The good news is that, cutting off the enemy's Aura will also render their attacks ineffective.

The more Law thought about it, the more he felt that God Hand leaned toward being a support-type ability.

But Law didn't want God Hand to be limited to a purely supportive role. At this time, he thought of the sword in the Elder's basement. Unfortunately, with his current capabilities, he had no way to get that sword.

Moreover, it was almost the end of August, so the Yorknew Auction would be held soon.

Seeing that Law was in deep thought, Machi and the others did not disturb him.

When Law snapped out of his thoughts, he noticed that Machi and Nobunaga had already moved farther away and were fighting, while Uvogin was leaning against a rock, watching the fight between the two.

Law walked over to Uvogin and sat down beside him.

Uvogin glanced at him and provocatively declared, "Once I shorten the charge time for my Big Bang Impact, I'll definitely knock you out."

Law smiled and just replied: "One hundred matches."

Uvogin groaned and rested the back of his head on the rock, looking as if he had lost all desire to live.

After the training, everyone returned to Meteor City. After eating together, they dispersed and went back to their respective homes.

At night.

Chrollo came to Machi's house alone.

When Machi opened the door and saw Chrollo, she was surprised.

"I'm here to see Law."

Chrollo stated his purpose directly.

Machi turned to look at Law in confusion, and the latter had already gotten out of bed and was walking toward the door.

"What's the matter?"

Law asked. Judging by Chrollo's late-night visit, he suspected it was about the Yorknew Auction, but he decided to ask anyway.

Chrollo glanced at Machi, hesitated for a moment, and abandoned the idea of speaking to Law privately. He then said to the two of them, "Aren't you going to invite me in?"

"Come in."

Machi said as she stepped aside.

Chrollo nodded, walked into the small room, then found a chair and sat down.

Machi closed the door and leaned against it with her arms crossed around her chest. Meanwhile, Law stepped back and sat on the edge of the bed.

"The time has come."

Chrollo looked at Law and said something incomprehensible.

Machi looked confused when she heard this.

"Is that so…" Law replied, lifting his eyelids slightly. He understood Chrollo's words immediately, 'It was indeed about the Yorknew Auction.'

"The Elder wants to see you now." Chrollo continued.

"Now?" Law frowned.

"Yes." Chrollo answered calmly.

Machi couldn't hold back any longer and asked, "What exactly are you two talking about?"

Chrollo glanced at her, but didn't answer. Instead, he turned his gaze back to Law.

"Machi, I'll explain it to you when I get back." Law assured her. He then looked at Chrollo and said calmly, "Let's go."

In today's combat training, Law only fought against Uvogin once, and it was also a quick victory, so he was still in good shape. Even if he went to see the Elder now, he was confident that he can leave unscathed.

Machi was stunned when she heard this. However, with Law's assurance, she decided not to press further and silently watched the two.

Chrollo stood up, and Law followed suit.

Seeing this, Machi stepped aside and opened the door.

Chrollo didn't say anything more and walked out of the room.

Law followed Chrollo, and the moment he walked out of the room, Machi suddenly said, "Come back early."

Law was stunned when he heard this, then he smiled. He made an OK gesture with his hand before leaving.
