Got Dumped and Became a Nerf Ability User

Chapter 6

Episode 6: Provocation

Fortunately, Eunbyul was wearing a bathrobe.

I wasn’t at all disappointed.

“Siwoo? What is it?”

“No… I came to ask what I should do next, but since it seems inconvenient now, I’ll come back later.”

I turned to close the door and was about to leave.

No, I should have left.

But Eunbyul grabbed my arm.

“No, it’s fine. A bathrobe is still clothing. You have no reason to feel embarrassed.”

Eunbyul was surprisingly calm.

As Eunbyul approached, I could sense a unique fragrance that only a woman’s body could emit.

Her wet black hair was quite stimulating to look at.

And also… I couldn’t find a place to rest my eyes.

The problem was that Eunbyul wasn’t wearing any underwear, so whenever she moved, a certain area swayed visibly.

That certain area… It swayed gently like the waves of the sea.

Of course, there’s also something as vast as the sea—her heart.

“Ah, no… That’s not the issue.”

I almost lost sight of my purpose, having been enchanted by that devilish lump of fat.

Normally, the dresses Eunbyul wears are oversized, so her figure’s power isn’t very noticeable.

But with this outfit, there was no way her curvaceous S-line figure couldn’t be prominently displayed.

“So, what is it you need?”

“Ah… um, I came to ask what I should do next.”

“Yeah… I was also planning to give you a proper explanation today.”

I sat in a chair while Eunbyul sat on the bed.

The explanation was so long that I kept zoning out while listening.

My eyes kept moving constantly.

I think I listened for almost two hours.

To summarize as much as possible, my long-term mission is to infiltrate the association and extract information.

And when it comes to reports, you can come to the Golden Rule hideout, but because there’s a risk of being discovered, Eunbyul gave me a smartphone.

My old smartphone got ruined in that EX-grade dungeon.

And since my identity is marked as deceased, it’s hard to use anymore, so Seoyoon gave me a new identity.

Han Shiwoo is still Han Shiwoo, but this Han Shiwoo feels like a different one.

The contact list on the new smartphone had all the members of Golden Rule.

[Contacts]

Eunbyul♥

Chaeyeon Kang

Seoyoon Kim

Ye-rim Choe

Seoa Park

——–

Including me, it seems Golden Rule has six members.

I don’t quite understand why only Eunbyul’s name has a heart attached.

When I asked her why she did that, her response was:

“Ah my goodness… Don’t take a joke so seriously, right?”

And she teased me.

But… Chaeyeon is also a member?

I thought Chaeyeon was Eunbyul’s younger sister?

Did she also want to join in her sister’s revenge?

While scanning through the contacts, I noticed an unfamiliar name.

There’s someone I haven’t met yet.

Seoa Park.

When I asked Eunbyul who she was, Eunbyul said I didn’t need to know yet and that I’d find out when the time came.

Also, she has arranged a place for me to live near the association’s headquarters.

Even though it’s a one-room apartment, I’m incredibly grateful.

Eunbyul said if I ever miss her, I can come back to the hideout in the middle of the night.

… I don’t like how her teasing gets to me.

It’s planned that I start work tomorrow, so it would be better to move into my new residence today.

She also warned me not to even dream of betraying her, glaring at me as she spoke.

“What would you do if I really ran away?”

I retorted as a small revenge for the earlier teasing.

But I couldn’t even recover my losses.

“Of course, I’ve already taken precautions. I’ve implanted a tracker inside you.”

“What if I leave the smartphone behind?”

Upon saying that, she leaned closer and whispered into my ear.

“… Obviously, when you were unconscious and brought here, I implanted it deep inside your body… Hmm~”

She finished her whisper and blew into my ear.

She’s acting strange today.

… It must be the outfit.

“Is this everything I need to do?”

“Yeah. If you find anything important, message me via KOTalk.”

I nodded after hearing that.

And just as I was getting up from the chair to really leave…

“Eh… Siwoo.”

Eunbyul hesitantly spoke to me.

“No, never mind.”

Then she awkwardly stopped speaking.

“If there’s anything else to pass on, I’ll KOTalk you.”

“Okay.”

After briefly replying, I left to start my mission early in the morning.

**[Kang Eunbyul’s Perspective]**

I woke up earlier than usual today.

Since I was up early, I took a shower right away.

After finishing the shower, I felt refreshed and was about to dry my hair.

That’s when Siwoo’s eyes met mine as he entered without knocking.

Thankfully, I wasn’t undressed.

‘Thank goodness I’m wearing a bathrobe.’

I felt lucky that I had something covering my body.

I was also relieved I hadn’t done anything strange.

But why did he come?

‘Without knocking…’

“Siwoo… What is it?”

I asked him why he came to see me this early in the morning.

“No… I came to ask what I should do next, but since it seems inconvenient now, I’ll come back later.”

Then he quickly tried to close the door and leave.

But my body acted before my mind could.

I grabbed his arm as he was about to leave.

“No, it’s fine. A bathrobe is still clothing. You don’t need to feel embarrassed.”

Does he notice me?

Honestly, showing this side of myself to him is still embarrassing.

Still…

His flustered appearance is laughably funny.

He’s desperately searching for somewhere to look with his eyes darting around.

Ultimately, his gaze will end up on my cleavage.

I guess that’s just how men are.

Frankly, Siwoo is the first man to enter Golden Rule.

So, this was a new experience for me.

I want to tease him.

“So, what is it?”

“Ah… um, I came to ask what I should do next.”

He seems to have come early in the morning to receive a mission.

Didn’t I tell him last night?

“Yeah… I was also planning to give you a proper explanation today.”

Actually, I was planning to go to his room to explain today.

But he beat me to it.

Was it due to the earlier commotion outside?

He seemed to rush in.

I explained to him the task he would need to accomplish from now on.

I sat on the bed.

I subtly offered for him to sit beside me on the bed.

But he chose to sit on a chair instead.

‘So not perceptive…’

I told him that his long-term mission was to extract information from the association.

Reports could be given at our hideout, but considering the risk, I gave him a smartphone.

The reason I gave him a smartphone is because his previous records were erased after being marked as deceased.

It’s clearly impossible to use the old identity.

Seoyoon created a new identity for him.

She was so proud when she made it.

His new smartphone includes contact information for all our members.

I made a silly joke by adding a heart next to my name.

When he asked why I put a heart next to my name…

But his reaction wasn’t serious.

His face turned red as if he was embarrassed.

His cute reaction made me feel like teasing him.

“Ah my goodness… Don’t take a joke so seriously, right?”

Can he just let this pass as a joke?

But then he suddenly brought up another girl’s name.

Seoa Park.

He asked me about Seoa, but I didn’t feel like answering because I felt a bit jealous.

I lent him one of my studio apartments near the association.

As I thought about possibly not seeing him for a while, I felt a slight sadness.

“Am I getting attached too quickly…?”

It felt like I’ve developed feelings for him after just meeting him for a while.

So I told him that if he missed me, he could come to see me as long as it didn’t interfere with his mission and wouldn’t get us discovered.

He passed it off with an awkward smile.

Does he dislike me…?

His reactions are too stiff, which makes me a little down.

But his body language doesn’t seem to show dislike…

I also warned him not to even dream of betrayal.

But he said…

“What would you do if I really ran away?”

I’m actually worried he might really flee.

I recognized his strength the first time I saw him when he was unconscious.

That’s why I recruited him into Golden Rule.

I remembered implanting a tracker inside him when he was unconscious.

These trackers weren’t originally meant to be used this way…

I initially implanted them to prevent betrayal.

But now, since I have feelings for him…

The trackers have taken on a different meaning to prevent betrayal in this way.

“Of course, I’ve already taken precautions. I’ve implanted a tracker inside you.”

“What if I leave the smartphone behind?”

He clearly thought the tracker was built into the smartphone.

So I moved closer and loudly whispered directly into his ear.

“… Obviously, when you were unconscious and came here, I implanted it deep inside your body… Hmm~”

I blew into his ear at the end, and he seemed to shiver.

He looked a little dazed after that.

I told him to report the mission’s progress via KOTalk.

Then he got up from the chair, about to leave my room.

There’s still something I need to tell him.

But this…

This is a task that could damage one’s humanity.

The task of killing someone.

Murder.

“Uh… Siwoo.”

I hesitated before speaking to him.

“No, never mind.”

It’s too early for someone who’s never killed before to accept such a task.

“If there’s anything else to pass on, I’ll KOTalk you.”

“Yeah.”

‘… … … …’

As he left the room, his figure seemed more mature than the night before.

That’s right.

Hunters can’t grow unless they undergo a second awakening.

‘…Definitely, I must be mistaken because I woke up too early today.’

While lying down, I waited for the day when I can reveal ‘this mission’ to him.

My heart feels uneasy.
