Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle

Chapter 665: Return

"We can still do this… He's already heavily injured." Ibrahim reminded.

His troops were also nervous since they were at most Level 30 to Level 40 Survivors. They also needed their weapons if they wanted to win against a Zombie Lord.

However, even if they had no more overwhelming force left, he believed that they should be able to win against the Zombie Lord.

After all, he had one more weapon.

A gift from Shane.

[ Golden Revolver ( Legendary ): A masterfully forged sidearm. It shines with a golden hue that never fades, no matter the blood or dust it touches.

Effects: +150% Weapon Damage, +150% Critical Strike Chance,

Special Effect – Sixfold Judgment: This weapon holds six mystical rounds that recharge with Spirit Points. Each round delivers a unique effect:

Judgment – True damage vs Undead

Purge – Cleanses all buffs on hit

Echo – Ricochets to a second target

Severance – Disables a limb or weak point

Oblivion – Deals massive Holy AoE damage

Final Mercy – Instantly executes an enemy under 10% HP ( Only 1 use per week )

Reaching to his side, Ibrahim unclipped the holster, revealing the sleek form of Shane's Golden Revolver.

The weapon had six chambers, and each of them had some sort of sign that could help him identify which effect he was about to activate...

At this time, he remembered Shane handing this item to him…

"I guess he knew that it'll be tough…" Ibrahim muttered.

Suddenly, Ken's second form attacked… It let out a monstrous shriek and soon, the Zombies he summoned started moving forward.

However, Ibrahim ignored the normal Zombies and moved forward. The Skeleton King was still active after all.

He then walked down the battlefield slope as the soldiers supported him from behind.

He was focused on his objective…

After a few moments, he raised the revolver.

Ken saw him coming and laughed…

"You? With that toy? You think a pea shooter can kill me?!"

Ibrahim didn't answer.

He just wanted to see how this Golden Revolver works! Since this was his first time using it, he might as well use all its rounds!

"Round One: Judgment."

He pulled the trigger.

BOOM.

A golden flash erupted from the barrel. It was like a straight beam of light that aimed at Ken's face!

However, Ken realized the threat and used ten Zombies to block the projectile!

Soon, ten Zombies evaporated in an instant. The creatures didn't even have time to scream before they all crumbled into ash… As for Ken, he was able to dodge in time, only injuring his sides.

Ken staggered. That wasn't just a bullet—it felt like he was attacked by a missile.

Nonetheless, Ibrahim didn't stop.

"Round Two: Purge."

BOOM.

This time, it happened so quickly. The second shot exploded into Ken's left thigh, obliterating his leg and bringing the Zombie Lord to one knee.

At this point, there were no Zombies that could help him as the Skeleton King kept them occupied.

"You… bastard!" Ken growled…

However, Ibrahim kept getting closer… This third shot would be interesting, and he wanted to see how it would work.

"Round Three: Echo."

He fired again.

This time, the bullet looped midair, curving unnaturally. Then it struck Ken behind his ear, severing neural links and staggering the Zombie Lord backward.

"Round Four…" Ibrahim whispered as he confirmed that this bullet consumed more than 100 Spirit Points this time. Well, the first three only consumed 50 Spirit Points.

The sudden double in consumption was something he had to take note of.

"Severance."

The shot then connected directly with Ken's exposed core.

A crack ran across it, and Ken screamed.

"NO—NO! I AM A LORD! I AM—"

He was planning to say something more but Ibrahim continued.

"Round Five: Oblivion."

BOOM.

The fifth shot didn't just hit—it detonated inside Ken's chest, igniting a golden implosion that bent the air around him…

"Wow… This bullet took 150 Points…" He muttered as he consumed his final Spirit Recovery Pill.

At this point, Ken's form shuddered, then burst into light—as if the world itself was rejecting him.

After that, there were no more traces of the Zombie Lord aside from the red crystal on the ground.

Ibrahim lowered the revolver and checked his notification.

[ You have eliminated a Lord-Tier Zombie. ]

[ New Title Unlocked:

Slayer of Skinner: Grants a 15% increase in damage and resistance against all undead creatures. ]

[ Additional Rewards: Gold Treasure Chest, 50,000 Experience Points, and Territory Key Fragment ]

Ibrahim gently nodded at this as he turned his attention to his gun.

There was no need for the sixth round but he didn't mind it at all. He had already seen the power of the Revolver and it truly deserved to be a Legendary Item.

Ibrahim then walked forward and stopped a few steps away from the scorched crater where Ken the Skinner had once stood.

At this point, his soldiers also emerged as they all couldn't help but look at his Golden Revolver. It was such a powerful weapon after all.

"It felt like it was… excessive… Still, it's an amazing weapon." Asad coughed with a grin.

Ibrahim holstered the revolver and shook his head slowly.

"It's a gift from Lord Shane, Sir Asad… It's good that you're alright." Ibrahim said as he looked at Asad.

***

After treating their wounds and getting their Spirit Points back up to a decent point, Ibrahim knew that it was time to leave.

"We need to get you out of here, Sir Asad… Sir Shane wanted us to bring you to his Eclipse Domain Shelter." Ibrahim said as he explained Shane's instructions.

Asad nodded as he also had no other choice. His shelter was already destroyed.

Perhaps, if he weren't in Sector 20, he would be able to handle the Zombie Wave. However, this sector seemed to be too difficult for a lone Survivor like him.

With a nod of respect, Asad offered his hand.

"I'll be in your care."

With that, Ibrahim's group finally started to leave…

However, this wasn't going to be easy with their exhausted troops.
