Global Apocalypse: The True Young Master Awakens and Tames the Villain

Chapter 1

It was the first time that Liu Jin’an had seen such a luxurious villa. The relic, so exquisite that they could be called works of art, were actually just the walls of the villa.

The walls were not stained with dust, and it could be seen that they were carefully wiped by dedicated personnel every day.

“Young master, please go this way.”

At the corner, the Gu family’s housekeeper had kept a decent smile and bowed slightly to make way for the passage.

Liu Jin’an, who had grown up in the countryside, had never enjoyed such treatment before. Although he had been frightened, he couldn’t help but feel a little proud.

In his opinion, a butler in an expensive uniform was already out of reach.

It wasn’t hard to imagine how wealthy and prosperous the Gu family, served by the butler, must have been.

Liu Jin’an’s good mood lasted only until the moment he walked into the Gu family door.

At that time, he was still thinking that the gate of the Gu family was wider and grander than the central square of the village. If he could live there, he couldn’t imagine how cheerful he would have been.

When he stepped through the door of the Gu family, a strange power suddenly entered his body, and then a large amount of information appeared in his mind.

He held his sore forehead and groaned in pain.

The housekeeper quickly stepped forward and helped the shaky young man up. “Young master, what’s wrong with you?”

Liu Jin’an shook his head and said in a deep voice, “It’s okay, just continue to lead the way.”

He hid the shock in his eyes, but there was a bit of gloom between his brows, and his mood was no longer as happy and relaxed as before.

Who would have thought that the world he lived in was a post-apocalyptic group pet and beauty 1-on-n novel?

1 referred to the protagonist, Gu Letian, the fake young master of the Gu family.

n referred to Gong 1 to Gong 7, respectively the four brothers of the Gu family and three other powerful men.

And he, as the true young master of a wealthy family, was just complete cannon fodder.

He had been secretly removed from the Gu family by his adoptive parents since he was a child. He had always eaten leftovers and even competed with vicious dogs for food when he was hungry.

Before he was ten years old, he hadn’t even had a single piece of intact clothes. He had just picked up old clothes that his younger brother didn’t want to wear.

After finally reaching adulthood, he had been brought back home by his biological parents, thinking that he could live the life of a wealthy young master.

The sudden apocalypse once again dragged him into the abyss.

In order to obtain resources for the Gu family, in the novel, he sold his body and endured inhumane violations and humiliation from people with supernatural powers.

In the end, he was sold to the sinister villain Duan Haiping by the Gu family, squeezing out the last bit of value.

His death became the last straw for the protagonist group to kill the villain.

How ridiculous. The meaning of his existence had just been to promote the plot and help the protagonist group.

Liu Jin’an’s good mood disappeared, and his fingers twitched slightly, as if he was complaining about the unfairness of fate.

Why had he not enjoyed even the slightest favour from the Gu family? Why should he dedicate his body and life wholeheartedly?

This was not fair!

“Young master, please. The Master and Madam are waiting for you in the hall.”

The housekeeper had not noticed Liu Jin’an’s emotional change and led the way responsibly.

Along the way was the front yard full of precious flowers and plants, poetic bridges and flowing water, and magnificent potted plants trimmed by skilled craftsmen.

Liu Jin’an had no intention of appreciating it. His mind was filled with the contents of the novel and his arranged, tragic life.

Until the two of them had walked through the front yard filled with precious flowers and plants and had come to the door of the Gu’s house.

The gilt door slowly opened, revealing the exquisitely decorated ceramic tiles. Liu Jin’an stepped through the door with a complicated mood.

Knowing the future direction, he hadn’t wanted to have anything to do with the Gu family, but the end of the world was approaching, and he had to seize the little time left and stock up as many supplies as possible.

The Gu family’s financial resources were one of the few resources he could seize.

Once he missed it, it would be difficult for him to find new ones to rely on in a short period of time.

No matter how disgusting it was, he couldn’t give up.

As soon as he entered the hall, Liu Jin’an felt eyes from all directions.

It was from a noble lady and a middle-aged man. He guessed they were his biological parents, Gu Chengye and Jiang Shulan.

The servants looked at him with eyes that were either curious, doubtful, or jealous. Their presence wasn’t strong and could be ignored.

One of the sights filled with malicious intent was particularly obvious.

Liu Jin’an subconsciously looked over. The man didn’t dodge, but his eyes became fiercer. He made a threatening gesture with his palm across his neck.

Beside that person, a boy of about eighteen years old stared at him with red and misty eyes.

Judging from the description of the Gu family in the novel, the man who harboured ill intentions toward him was Gu Hongwu, the second eldest son of the Gu family. As for the boy next to Gu Hongwu, he was probably Gu Letian, the protagonist.

There were so many beautiful words in the novel about Gu Letian’s appearance, calling it astonishing to the heavens and the earth, likening him to an immortal character left behind in the mortal world.

In Liu Jin’an’s opinion, it was nothing more than that.

Gu Letian had a handsome appearance and delicate facial features, and he did look really pitiful when his eyelashes were filled with tears.

Wearing seasonal luxury brands and light-coloured outfits, which complemented his red lips and white teeth, Liu Jin’an felt pity for him.

But he was curious.

Gu Letian was petite, no more than 1.7 meters tall. Standing next to the tall and strong Gu Hongwu, he looked like a little chicken that hadn’t grown up yet.

How could he withstand seven attacks at once…?

Liu Jin’an couldn’t imagine such a scene and quickly looked away to prevent his thoughts from diverging.

Gu Hongwu didn’t intend to give Liu Jin’an any face at all and said loudly, “Dad, Mom, Tiantian is in a bad mood, so I’ll take him back to his room first.”

When he helped Gu Letian pass Liu Jin’an, he threatened in a voice that only the two of them could hear: “Be sensible and get out of the Gu family as soon as possible. There is no place for you here.”

Liu Jin’an was noncommittal.

Not to mention that the threat from the second son of the Gu family was innocuous. Even if the second son of the Gu family beat him up today, he would just lay on the ground and demand compensation.

He wasn’t going to recognize his ancestors anyway, so why make a ruckus?

Fame?

That was the most worthless thing in the last days.

Facing the astonished looks of his biological parents, Liu Jin’an raised his fist and hit Gu Hongwu hard in the face.

This punch had been planned for a long time, and Gu Hongwu was unprepared. In just one blow, Gu Hongwu fell to the ground. One side of his face was swollen, and a trace of blood oozed from the corner of his mouth.

However, the situation soon reversed.

Gu Hongwu was indeed a professional boxer. After being hit, he stabilized his body with a sharp kick and then struck hard.

The sandbag-sized fist hit Liu Jin’an mercilessly.

Soon, Liu Jin’an was beaten with bruises all over his body, and there was no good piece of meat on his body.

By the time the housekeeper and servants tried their best to pull Gu Hongwu away, Liu Jin’an had fallen into a coma.

Before he fell into the coma, he seemed to hear a woman’s scream and Gu Chengye’s roar.
