Genshin Impact: I Can Obtain Adventure EXP

Chapter 497: Chapter 497: One Week

Mondstadt.

After leaving the Knights of Favonius headquarters, Nolan and the others walked along the road toward the Angel's Share tavern.

Taking advantage of the spare time, he checked the changes in the Wonderland after storing the Bloodjade Branch from the Beneath the Dragon-Queller.

First, the Wonderland Space had expanded by ten square meters, now totaling about 430 square meters.

It seemed the Bloodjade Branch was far rarer than ordinary gold-tier items—after all, it dropped from the body of the Earth Dragon King.

Aside from the slight space expansion, it also granted a new Space Trait:

[Successfully stored rare treasure "Bloodjade Branch". Gained Space Trait: Dragonblood — Within the "Golden Vault" space, a one-jin (500g) "Dragonblood Gem" will be nurtured every month. The "Dragonblood Gem" contains abundant and gentle energy, useful for cultivation, alchemy, forging, and more.]

Reading the trait's description, Nolan was pleasantly surprised. Its applications in cultivation and crafting made it an exceptionally versatile resource.

It felt just like "spirit stones" from cultivation novels.

Nolan wondered just how effective it would be for him personally. He decided to experiment with it once he returned to the Wonderland later.

If it worked well, he might be able to save a large number of EXP points!

Having finished checking, he set the matter aside for now and continued walking with the two girls.

Not long after, they arrived at the tavern. Since it was still working hours, the place was open but had very few customers.

Even so, at the high stools near the bar, they spotted Venti—utterly drunk and sprawled out—and behind the bar stood Diluc, calmly wiping glasses.

"Hey, Master Diluc!" Nolan greeted with a smile.

"Oh, it's you. Long time no see."

Diluc nodded in response, then glanced at the drunken bard, who lay face-down on the counter, still pouring alcohol into his mouth with his eyes closed.

"You're here for this guy, right?"

"That's right."

Nolan wasn't surprised that Diluc guessed his reason for coming. After all, he wasn't someone who drank often, and even less likely to bring two girls to a tavern for drinks.

So it wasn't hard to figure out that he was here looking for someone.

"Perfect. The advance Mora he gave earlier wasn't enough to cover his tab. He even said if it wasn't enough, I could ask you."

Diluc continued wiping the glass as he spoke.

"Stop, stop, stop!"

Nolan quickly cut him off, already sensing where this was going.

That damn Barbatos!

He had given him a whole pouch with 300 gold coins, each worth 10,000 Mora—for a total of 3 million Mora!

And now he'd blown through all of it on alcohol, then told Diluc he could collect the rest from him?

Absolutely outrageous! No way was he going to cover that! Let that 3 million be water under the bridge—he was not going to indulge that bard any further.

Without hesitation, Nolan declared:

"I misspoke earlier. We just happened to be passing by the tavern and thought we'd drop in and catch up with you, Master Diluc. We don't even know that bard."

He spread his hands and shook his head.

"I see, just reminiscing, then." Diluc nodded slightly. "Well, in that case, let me treat you to a drink."

Of course, Diluc knew exactly what kind of person Venti was. He was only teasing—he had no intention of really charging Nolan for the bard's drinks.

After all, Venti could always sing for his supper. That's why Diluc didn't mind letting him drink as he pleased here—he knew the bard could always pay in his own way.

"No, no, we'll be on our way. Best to leave quickly before that guy wakes up and latches on to us."

Nolan quickly shook his head and ushered Noelle and Barbara out of the Angel's Share.

Sensing that Nolan was truly about to leave—

Venti, who had only been pretending to be drunk, instantly sprang up from the table, dove forward, and clung to Nolan, putting on an exaggerated pitiful expression.

"Two million—just two million Mora, and I'll tell you the locations of several hidden domains. Please~!"

A few hidden domains? That actually didn't sound bad... Nolan had already suspected this guy was faking—after all, he was a god.

All in all, five million Mora for the information on several domains seemed like a decent deal.

So he didn't bother arguing with Venti and simply smiled. "Alright then, you said it."

Venti was surprised by how readily Nolan agreed, and for some reason felt like he'd been shortchanged. But he'd already said the words—backing out now would be bad for a god's dignity.

"Don't look so reluctant. A regular treasure chest, aside from the artifacts and weapons, only gives around ten thousand Mora. Even if you add everything up, the total worth is only fifty or sixty thousand.

"And who knows how many chests there are in a single domain? If I'm unlucky, I might not even make back the five million I spent.

"So really, you're the one profiting here—just taking the money and not even doing the exploring yourself."

Nolan looked at Venti with a deadpan face.

"Ehehe~!"

Venti thought about it and realized... it kind of made sense. He tried to brush it off with a cute pose.

"..."

Nolan didn't even know how to respond anymore.

He simply paid Venti's tab quickly. Since the tavern didn't have many customers at the moment, he had Venti mark the domain locations directly on a Mondstadt map.

Possibly because there were fewer rampaging gods in Mondstadt during the Archon War compared to Liyue, there were fewer sealed domain ruins here.

Venti marked a few detailed locations in Stormterror's Lair, Brightcrown Canyon, and the central region of Cider Lake.

After receiving the map, Nolan sent Noelle and Barbara back home—it was already getting late. Domain exploration could wait until tomorrow.

Over the next week:

Nolan continued taking Barbara and Noelle on domain expeditions.

At the same time, he used the "Sword God of Lumine" to clear out monsters in the Spiral Abyss, and used Starsea Manifestation to temporarily collect discovered treasure chests, artifacts, and other valuable items.

These kinds of things were quite common in the Spiral Abyss—the deeper one went, the more could be found.

That's because fewer people could make it to the lower floors, and so the treasures left untouched naturally increased.

As for the domains, Nolan started with the ones Havria had told him about, then moved on to the ones Venti revealed.

Among those from Havria, not all yielded results—as she had warned.

Back then, she and her people were constantly on the run. So whatever domains she knew of, her people likely knew as well.

That meant the less dangerous domains had already been gradually explored over the course of thousands of years.

Naturally, anything valuable had long been taken, leaving only empty domains behind. However, some of these places were sealed homes to powerful monsters.

The Salt People hadn't dared to approach them—but Nolan wouldn't let them go to waste.

Following protocol, he would first release them, beat them thoroughly, set up Command Seals, and then seal them back again—gaining EXP while also preventing them from ever harming humanity in the future.
