From Douluo to Zhe Tian

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Martial Soul Brick

"Haha, you kid are really interesting. It's no trouble at all, come on!"

Su Yuntao was amused by Qin Tian honest words and smiled lightly.

Qin Tian quickly hopped into the six-pointed star formed by six black crystals on the ground.

Su Yuntao acted swiftly. His Beast Martial Soul, the Lone Wolf, merged, and with both hands, he quickly struck, infusing six faint green soul powers into the six black crystals on the ground.

Brilliant golden light emanated from the crystals, forming a faint golden light barrier that enveloped Qin Tian sturdy body, which was a head taller than his peers.

Qin Tian felt a warm flow of light entering his body, which was incredibly soothing. Faintly, he seemed to hear chanting and ritual sounds.

Five seconds!

Ten seconds!

Thirteen seconds!

Twenty seconds!

Su Yuntao's expression changed. What was going on? It usually took only six or seven seconds for others, but this kid had been in the test for so long. Could it be that he had passed the age limit for awakening?

"This kid is really only six years old?"

Su Yuntao spoke, looking toward the other children.

"Yes, sir. Gazi has grown up with me. He might be a genius. Please wait a little longer," Tang San quickly spoke up to defend Qin Tian.

Hearing Tang San words, Su Yuntao's spirits lifted. If this turned out to be a mutated Martial Soul, his results this year would rise, bringing rewards and even potential promotions.

So, three minutes later!

As Su Yuntao began to sweat, Qin Tian finally reacted. He subconsciously raised his right hand, and a blue-green light radiated from it.

Tang San eyes narrowed sharply. What was that? It looked familiar. Wasn't that the blue-green brick Qin Tian had pulled from under the table leg yesterday?

"This!"

Su Yuntao's handsome face darkened. A brick? A Martial Soul like this? Could it be that he would be really good at building walls? He had never heard of such a Martial Soul. He guessed it was a useless one.

"Looks like another useless Martial Soul. Alright, kids, you can leave now," Su Yuntao said, his spirit somewhat deflated. He was exhausted, and although he didn't show much disdain to Qin Tian, his gaze was not kind.

"Sir, please, give me a chance to prove myself. I haven't tested my soul power yet?"

Qin Tian pleaded, looking at Su Yuntao with eager eyes.

"Test it then!"

Su Yuntao sighed. This kid was an interesting one. Hearing his manner of speaking lightened his mood a little.

Su Yuntao handed over a blue crystal ball, and as soon as Qin Tian touched it, a pulling force surged through his hand.

Qin Tian immediately felt a "clang" inside his body, as if an energy had entered the crystal ball.

Buzz!

The crystal ball faintly glowed.

"Haha, I can cultivate! Sir, Xiao San, I can cultivate! I have soul power!"

Qin Tian was ecstatic. His previously hopeless feelings were now illuminated. As long as he could cultivate, that was enough.

At that moment, Qin Tian felt something stir within his left hand. It seemed to be a large bronze coffin, ancient and simple, with some faint, ancient patterns on it. It was rusty and looked as if it had just been unearthed, casting a feeling of time's passage deep within his heart.

Could it be that Qin Tian had a dual Martial Soul?

"Hmm, there's a soul power response, though faint. Looks like he can cultivate," Su Yuntao remarked. The Martial Soul Brick—this was a first for him, but it might be worth reporting.

"Sir, save me. I want to go to school. I want to stand out. I want to be useful to this world, then return the favor to the village and repay your kindness."

Qin Tian sincerely expressed his gratitude. He felt that this young Spirit Master's temper wasn't bad. He wasn't high and mighty, looking down on others or despising common folk. He had a playful tone, which Qin Tian found amusing.

So, he decided to try to latch onto this big leg. Even if he failed, there was nothing to lose.

In his past life, to borrow money to surf the internet, he had no shame and would beg for anything, utterly shameless.

Cough, cough, of course, he wouldn't speak of those dark pasts. But eventually, he succeeded—though he didn't become a scholar, his music talent skyrocketed. Learning music was like cheating for him, picking it up instantly, and his singing voice was phenomenal.

Qin Tian had risen from a street singer to a 2033 music industry sensation in just five years.

Sadly, he was now dead. Most likely due to a heart attack.

"Next door in Qing Shui Gou Village and Hei Jia Wan Village, no one has awakened to be a Spirit Scholar for years. Their work-study student slots have been left unused for years, so I'm giving you one. I'll tell your village chief later."

Su Yuntao was in a good mood, mainly because Qin Tian was so bold and shameless, with such an amusing tone.

"Don't worry, sir. I, Qin Gazi, will repay you," Qin Tian solemnly replied, thumping his chest with a loud thud, making a serious promise.

Su Yuntao didn't say anything, packed his things, and walked out.

Outside, Qin Tian could hear Su Yuntao and Village Chief Jack talking.

"Xiao San, I did it! I awakened my Martial Soul. I can cultivate now!"

Qin Tian excitedly rushed over, directly hugging Tang San and patting his back vigorously.

If it weren't for the support of the Mysterious Heaven Skill, Tang San would have vomited blood. The next moment, he was shocked to find that being hugged by Qin Tian made his Mysterious Heaven Skill automatically run, and his cultivation speed doubled.

This!

Such a temptation.

"Xiao San, what are you spacing out for? Aren't you happy for me?"

Qin Tian said.

"Gazi brother, can you stop calling me Xiao San? It sounds so bad. Just call me Tang San, okay?"

Tang San helplessly replied.

"Xiao San doesn't sound good? Fine, when we go to school, you can call me Tian Ge (Brother Tian). I gave myself a name, Qin Tian. Don't tell Godfather, though, or I'll get beaten."

Qin Tian, seeing Tang San thoughtful expression, immediately made a playful remark.

Tang San stared at Qin Tian, a bit lost in thought.

"Look at that. I used to be a fool, right? Calling myself Qin Gazi isn't that bad. It sounds quite nice."

"But once I go to school, I'll become a great Spirit Master. I've heard you talk so much about how great Spirit Masters are. And one day, I'll even get married. Gazi doesn't sound very impressive."

Qin Tian felt uncomfortable under Tang San gaze and quickly started joking, mixing truth with lies.

He wasn't a good student. Lying and boasting was a daily habit. After all, in his previous life, he was called Qin Tian, and he just wanted to return to that name.

"Well, Godfather calls me Gazi, and I accept it. He gave me life, after all."

Qin Tian continued.

"Alright, I won't tell Father. But you have to stop calling me Xiao San."

Tang San nodded, reaching an agreement with Qin Tian.

Soon, Village Chief Jack walked into the room. The Spirit Master, Su Yuntao, had already hurriedly left in his carriage.

"I can't believe you suddenly became so clear-headed, and the Spirit Master took a liking to you. He'll send you to the Nuoding City Junior Spirit Master Academy to study as a work-study student. Would you like that?"

Then, in a gentler tone, Village Chief Jack spoke to Tang San, "Xiao San, tell Grandpa, do you want to go to a specialized school? Only there will you learn everything about Martial Souls and become a Spirit Master. You'll be the hope of the village."

Qin Tian silently thought to himself. This was the real world, very realistic. People had to rely on themselves.
