Chapter 3: Witnessing the Genesis
Thinking about his parents brought an unexpected warmth to Ariase's soul, a rare solace in the chaos of his surroundings.
A blissful thought emerged in his mind as he murmured, "I'm pretty sure they've come here."
"After all, they lived such good, honest lives. It'd be suspicious if they hadn't."
But little did he know, he was only half right—and half wrong.
This wasn't heaven, not in the way he imagined.
Yet, there was some truth in his words.
This was indeed the [Garden of Eden].
The first place ever crafted by the Creator—a sacred sanctuary designed to shelter the first creations.
This paradise had been once accessible to all beings, granting a realm of balance and harmony.
But that balance had been shattered long ago when the two primordials, entrusted with God's faith, betrayed the divine trust.
For their sins, they were cast out, banished beyond the inner world, [Celestia], to the [Land of Repentance], the crust of Earth—as known and termed by mankind.
In the inner world, [Celestia], most of the creations of the beginning still existed, hidden from the eyes of humanity.
Ariase, of course, knew none of these.
For now, he was content, basking in the serenity of his surroundings.
The peaceful atmosphere soothed his restless soul, easing him into a state of quiet gratitude.
But peace, as fleeting as it was, would not last.
A sudden shift in the air made him freeze.
His gaze darted around, seeking the source of the disturbance.
Then, from the endless expanse of the garden, 'it' emerged—a presence unlike anything he had ever imagined.
The wisps of light and space around it began to tremble and hum, their soft glow dimming as if bowing to the approaching entity.
The being that appeared had a defined shape and physical form, but for some reason, Ariase couldn't see it.
It was all a cascade of shifting brilliance, light, and shadow intertwined in an elegant dance that defied comprehension.
Ariase could do nothing but stare, awe-stricken.
His thoughts raced and concluded.
'Is that… God?'
The image of his parents' teachings flooded his mind.
Though it wasn't evident on his face and demeanor, he was quite religious and adhered strictly to his parents' teachings when necessary.
"They said God is brighter than any light, more gracious and elegant than anything else in existence."
His soul tightened as questions surged in a frantic stream.
"What happens now? W-Will I enter heaven now?"
Before he could think further, the entity raised its hand, a gentle wave passing through the air.
Countless wisps around the garden shimmered one last time before being drawn into a spherical orb that materialized out of nowhere.
Ariase, too, was pulled into the seven-colored glass orb—a tight, confining space where all the soul wisps reside.
Despite the compressed feeling, his focus remained on the being outside.
It moved with an ethereal grace, radiating a power so profound that Ariase's thoughts fell silent.
His awe deepened, and a flicker of something—curiosity, perhaps—sparked in his chest.
'This must be God,' he thought with conviction.
'Who else could wield such power and majesty?'
But he knew 'nothing' for certain.
Though he couldn't truly see the being, his mind filled in the gaps, weaving conclusions from fragments of teachings and imagination.
It didn't matter that he was likely wrong.
At this moment, all he felt was a deep and unshakable gratitude that he wasn't going to hell.
And then the being suddenly spoke.
The sound was like nothing Ariase had ever heard.
The voice resonated through every part of him, a melody of harmony and peace.
The language was alien and incomprehensible, yet something about it felt strange.
"Such a mystical language..."
"Wait a minute... I-Is this that language?!"
It was soothing, overly familiar, and yet… sounded forbidden and sealed.
Ariase's thoughts stilled into a single phrase.
"T-The one language that connects all!"
Hearing the words that escaped from the being's presence, Ariase felt his soul tremble—a profound sense of enlightenment unfolding within him.
It was as if long-buried sealed memories, fragments of a forgotten past, had been stirred awake, waiting to be unleashed.
Each word resonated like echoes of truths long buried in his soul, truths that now surged forth with unstoppable force.
The being continued to speak, its voice reverberating with a harmony that defied mortal comprehension.
With a shimmering orb radiating seven divine colors in its left hand, it raised its other hand of pristine light, each movement exuding authority and purpose.
From nowhere, a door appeared—towering and magnificent, adorned in radiant white and infused with the seven divine hues of the spectrum.
The door's intricate carvings seemed to pulse with life and overwhelming power.
When the door creaked open, light unlike any he had ever seen spilled forth.
It wasn't just light inside—it held countless nebulas and entire universes.
It leaked visible energy, raw and incomprehensible.
Golden and silver hues intertwined, radiant as stars and fierce as the sun.
Cosmic and universal forces swirled together, bending space around them.
Streams of energy representing fate and destiny wove themselves into the mix, creating a tapestry of existence itself.
Throughout the entire process of opening the door and harnessing its energy, the being continued chanting incomprehensible words, its tone as harmonious as the balance of life and death.
But, for the first time, Ariase miraculously understood fragments of the being's cryptic words.
Though the language was alien and foreign to his mortal comprehension, he managed to grasp a portion of its true meaning.
"World... creation... genesis... new beginning... forbidden project... sorry... Father..."
These words echoed in his mind, each one a puzzle piece that refused to fit together.
Shock coursed through him, and he questioned his sanity.
"Am I delirious again?" he wondered.
"How did I understand it..."
"World creation? Genesis?" he murmured, his thoughts spiraling.
"Did I hear all that correctly? And..."
"Why... did he say 'sorry'..."
"And 'Father'? Does that mean... he's not God???"
A new thought struck him, and his disbelief deepened.
"Could he be... the Son of God? The real one??"
He faltered, realizing again that he no longer had eyes, only awareness.
"... To witness this very moment, to even see the existence of a divine being, is beyond anything a human like me could dream—"
His awe was cut short as his surroundings shifted.
Without warning, the door and radiant garden vanished.
The vastness of Eden dissolved into an endless expanse of darkness—a boundless, infinite void.
Only the being and the orb containing Ariase and the other wisps remained.
In its right hand, the coagulation of ancient energy hovered, suspended in the darkness.
Ariase's thoughts quieted, his words also vanished.
There was nothing left to say, nothing left to question.
All he could do was watch, his soul bewitched.
He immediately understood what was happening based on what he had heard earlier.
It is the beginning of the Genesis.
The being clenched his right hand, causing the floating ethereal energy to tremble and begin to break forth.
A cascade of otherworldly energies burst forth from its grasp, illuminating the void with colors and forces beyond description.
With deliberate precision and movements, the being began to shape the chaos.
Stars ignited in the vast expanse, their births violent yet magnificent.
Fiery infernos collided, fusing into new forms and tearing apart into cosmic debris.
Planets emerged from the chaos, forged from swirling matter and endless stars, their surfaces cooling as they settled into their orbits.
Some were destroyed in spectacular collisions, only to be reborn, reshaped, and perfected.
Seconds, minutes, and hours passed by.
The being continued to move its hand with purpose, and under its touch, the laws of existence began to weave themselves into place.
Threads of life and death spiraled together, an intricate dance that balanced creation with inevitable decay.
The forces of fate and destiny intertwined, their luminous strands embedding themselves into the tapestry of reality.
Creation unfolded before Ariase—not as a peaceful emergence, but as a symphony of chaos and order.
He watched in awe as these visions unfolded and vanished in the blink of an eye, like whispers of the past etched into the foundation of the cosmos.
The being's chants echoed through the void, each word and movement a force of creation and destruction, shaping and structuring the chaos.
The energies responded, bending and forming under its will, becoming something flawless and incomprehensibly vast.
Ariase's mortal mind could never hope to grasp the enormity of what was unfolding—but still, one thought echoed in his mind:
'S-So, this is Genesis... Amazing...'
'The true beginning of everything... All-encompassing, all-nurturing...'
His soul wisp silently quivered, unable to bear the overwhelming burden of incomprehensible knowledge any longer.
The sheer weight of forbidden truths—insights into creation that no mortal was ever meant to grasp—proved heavy and deep.
'But... why c-create a world? I thought... I was going to heave—'
His consciousness began to fade, the dim glow of his soul softening into quiet rest.
Yet, in his final moments, a strange peace enveloped him.
Despite the burden of what he had witnessed, he was content—a mortal soul that had touched the edges of eternity.
...
Another day has gone by, and it is finally done.
With a luminous finger descending upon the replica of a certain planet, its surface rippled like liquid silver at its touch.
Endless threads of fate and memory sprang forth in radiant arcs, intertwining and dancing in the void.
Each soul wisp was bound delicately to these threads, their destinies woven with infinite care.
A voice both nurturing and commanding resounded the vastness of space, like a mother's embrace and a father's guidance combined.
It spoke in a rhythm that resonated with the cosmos itself, its tone harmonious yet enigmatic:
"All shall witness the myths foretold, the tales you've trusted, both new and old."
"This is my decree, my final command: Live in the world where destinies stand."
"Walk the paths that intertwine, break the chains, rewrite the design."
"Forge your fate, though it may seem dire, shatter the script, light your own fire."
"..."
As the being's words echoed, the woven threads pulsed with life, radiating brilliance.
The planet shimmered brighter, its ripples spreading outward, touching every corner of creation.
The being watched in silence, its task complete, as the cosmos of the rewritten world settled into its intricate, structured layout.
Before vanishing, it whispered one final word.
"Rise and defy the stars, mortals who stand apart from eight billion souls—become the key to complete the..."
