Felix sat alone in the wilderness, looking at the red system window. Floating next to the red screen, Jessica's portrait observed the situation and reported the latest news.

Felix got up and flew to the hostile flying island.

Felix was relieved. At least, nobody could contest him anymore. Being confident in his strength and arsenal, he entered the flying island's territory, crossing the dome barrier boundary in front of the crowd of observers.

Entering the domain of Mao Miaomiao, Felix found an array of soldiers and anti-air weapons on the surface. Without warning, they unleashed a thousand bullets his way.

Trails of bullets followed Felix until he flew below the edge of the island. The monsters with guns and rifles rushed over to the cliff and looked down, searching for the intruder.

Felix ignored the soldiers above. He hid beneath the flying island and checked his body.

There were holes in his arms and legs. He didn't dodge everything unscratched.

"Thank god, I have been training hard at that place. I would have panicked if I were the old me."

Calmly, Felix fetched a high potion, which he had cloned from Class-A supply boxes, and took a sip. The bleeding stopped. Leftover shrapnels and bullet heads came out, and the wounds were sealed. The cracks in his front teeth mended.

He put on an invisible cloak and peeked at the edge of the cliff.

Felix, unable to recognize Valley, thought that she was just another underling of the demon god. But since she was carrying a baby, he ignored her and moved on.

Felix froze. He turned around and stared at Valley and Mao Miaomiao. However, the duo hadn't noticed his presence yet.

The infant fearlessly touched Felix's nose and squeezed it with his tender palm.

This made Felix flinch. Once again, he thought back on his recent actions and regretted swearing at the innocent child.

Seeing how helpless the girl was, Felix lifted the cloak and showed her his face. He gestured for her to get inside the same cloak.

"Come here. Don't try anything funny."

Reluctantly, Valley got inside Felix's cloak. The latter shoved the infant into her arms and wrapped his hand around her waist. With a thought, he took off with two prisoners in tow.
