Chapter 115
As Snow gets the controlled Hunter to drink another potion, it’s decided that we aren’t going to do a public execution. Everyone seems to agree that it would be a gross thing to do, so we’re going to kill him and let the hound leader eat his body. He indicated that it might help him get stronger, so nobody disagrees. Pops suggested that we order him to kill himself, and if that works he’ll at least suffer a little bit of what he forced on others before dying. So when we enter a nearby building, out of sight of the prisoners we hand him a sword that someone dropped.
Snow then orders him “Kill yourself.” but he doesn’t move. Pops sighs and says “I guess that was asking too much, I can do it with my own hands then.” We all nod, agreeing, since Pops seems to dislike the man the most. “Tell him to kneel and bow his head, so I don’t fuck it up honey.” Pops says to Snow, who does. When Hunter has kneeled, his head low, Pops grabs the sword from him and grunts. “These are the consequences of your actions Hunter, hopefully you’re a better person in your next life.” I don’t know what he means by next life. Maybe it’s like what Citrine was talking about with her memories. Pops then swings the sword at Hunter’s neck and slices off his head.
Pops seems to stare into space, and has probably gotten a screen. So I sigh in relief. I didn’t know I could be so afraid of someone so under control before, and with him dead I don’t have to worry anymore. I don’t like when people or monsters can hurt my family. I wonder why I’m afraid for them, but not for myself… Well I am pretty tough, so even if bad things happen I’m fine after. I nod to myself since that makes the most sense. Probably.
“I don’t want to take care of a big city like Canton, does anyone else want it? I can help whoever takes over with guard duties though, since I know you lot don’t have a lot of military training.” Pops says, and I don’t want Canton either, since it seems like a lot of work, and I only have 9 bodies right now. We talk about who would be best and it’s decided that Jessica makes the most sense as Landowner, since she’s smart. I interrupt though, remembering something. “Give it to me first, so I can refund the dungeon that makes those control potions. I don’t want anyone getting those.” Everyone here seems to agree with me and Jessica says “I haven’t experienced it myself, but it does sound like more of a risk than a useful tool. We just have to see how it was used against the last Landowner here.”
That reminds me, so I grab the body and severed head and walk outside, tossing them to the pack leader. He quickly eats everything with his tail wagging so I give him a good pet. When I reenter the building I hear a chime and get ownership of Canton. I won’t rename it, since it will be Jessica’s after I’m done. Everyone then follows Snow to our old master’s house, since I forgot where it was already, and they search the house while I refund the dungeon. It’s a relief to see the source of those potions disappear in front of me, so I wiggle before finding Jessica, and giving her the 50,000 Credits I got for the refund.
“Thanks mom, I don’t have a lot left from Central, so any little bit helps. Most of the structures should be intact still, so go ahead and transfer ownership when you’re ready.” She says, and I almost forgot I had to do that. I feel pretty forgetful today, but it’s probably just all of the things going on between all my bodies. Once I give it to her, she gets a blank look for a few minutes and then says “There’s going to be a lot of stuff to do here, can you tell Lyle that we’ll have to break up for a while. I’m just going to be too busy, and he’s going to be in charge of Central anyways.” I nod, since they probably won’t be able to see each other for a while.
I wonder if they’re system married… I can’t remember. So I ask my daughter and she says “Yes, we got married since we love each other. So I guess we’ll be married until one of us finds someone else, he’ll understand, since he’s a lot like me. Maybe we’ll even get back together later, I’ll have to wait and see.” I give her a hug, and agree to tell him for her. She then says “Oh, and Onyx and the others who picked Suppress should move here, there’s already a prison in the list of structures for the city. A system prison should be more secure than we could easily make one ourselves at least.” That’s good news, we were worried about getting one made in time to hold the slavers we captured here. I start looking for Onyx with my body that’s watching Opal’s Home.
Amber and the rest come into the room and Pops says “Okay, I think we got them all, but we should probably destroy the place to make sure. Does anyone here have a fire skill?” Snow says that she got one recently, so we leave the house after she sets fires in a few of the rooms. It’s kind of fun to watch such a large fire burn down the house, so I make sure to keep an eye on it with one of my bodies. Jessica put a shield around it saying “We don’t want the fire to spread around the city, and this should prevent that.” That would have been fun to watch, but it probably would have made Jessica’s job harder, so it’s fine that I won’t get to see it.
By the time the house has finished burning, the city has been searched for slaves and slavers by Sapphire and the hounds. A lot of the slaves are the elves from Ruby’s Rest, since they haven’t had the chance to be shipped off to other cities, towns or camps nearby. Ruby seems really happy to reunite with so many of her daughters. Pepper is pretty sad though, since Neil doesn’t seem to have been in the city. Pop’s says that we’ll have to slowly hit the surrounding places that have slaves to find everyone.
I hope that they are safe. I told him about Junior already, but he saw him get killed himself and has been dealing with it since then. Snow promises me that she’ll take care of Pops and help him feel better, and I offer to help if she thinks I’ll be useful. She says that maybe another orgy in a few weeks, but for now to leave it to her. I trust her judgment, since she knows him best. There is so much to be done with the freed slaves and the captured slavers. Jessica says she has a lot of plans, so I can just follow her instructions for now.
Citrine has already flown back to Opal’s Home to pick up Onyx so we can get them Branded as soon as possible. The others will have to make there way here later, when we can get the hounds to guard them on their journey. That will have to start tomorrow though, since the remaining hounds are hungry and tired, so we’re going to get them fed and let them sleep a bit. The pack leader seems eager to increase the pack size again too, so they will head that way with Sapphire first thing in the morning after waking up. That way he can return to mating once that’s finished. I’ve already agreed to have a few bodies help out, since they did lose a lot of the pack helping us.
Amber will be headed back towards Opal’s Home tonight with Sue and most of my bodies. I’ll be leaving one of my normal ones here to keep us in contact with Jessica. That and she wants to snuggle tonight, and I can’t turn down my cute daughter. Pops and Snow will be staying here from now on, since Dragon Roost was completely destroyed, and he wants to be helpful by training the new guards for this place. Jessica decided to name it Barrier, and I’m not sure why she named it that, but it’s probably smart.
A week later
We’ve all gathered for the wedding in Ruby’s Rest, and I’m wiggling with excitement in the sturdy chair they gave me. I look around and see that Sapphire, and Cindy are in their seats not too far from Amber and me. So I wave to them and they smile and wave back. This is so much more fancy then the weddings I had. I even put my cool looking lights up in a few places for them.
Citrine finally shows up with my little body and we take our seats next to Onyx and her boyfriend. This is the first chance she’s gotten to be with him since she left for Barrier, so we won’t bother them since they’re busy kissing. She’s going to be taking him back to the city with her after the ceremony, and she told me a lot of the things she has planned for him at their new home. I’m not sure I’d enjoy stuff like that, but if it makes both of them happy then it makes me happy they can do it. I kind of hope that Amber doesn’t suddenly start wanting to be tied up though. It sounds like a lot of work, and I doubt I’d be very good at remembering how Onyx described tying knots. I won’t mention it to my wife, just in case.
Sue, and Steph were both able to make it for the wedding too, but their camps aren’t too far away from Ruby’s Rest, so it makes sense. Pops and Snow weren’t able to make it, since Pops is pretty busy in Barrier still. Pepper of course came, since her mom is getting married, and she’s been looking forward to it since she was told a few days ago.
I remember when Ruby came to me, asking if she could marry Tasha and Penny instead.
She had found a potion like I did that let her marry two people in the dungeon. Of course I was happy for her, and told her I was okay with it. I understand that as her current wife I should be upset, but it’s hard to be when I know how much she’s always liked Tasha. She also spends a lot of time with Penny, but I haven’t really seen them interact that much. I’m sure she loves her just as much though. She’s such a good daughter. She spent a long time making sure I was really okay with it, and it was cute.
I’ll still see her the same amount and get to cuddle her a bunch, so I don’t think it will be all that different other than her arrow missing from my view. That will be a bit sad, but she’ll usually be her at Ruby’s Rest, so I can easily find her anyway. I ended up marrying Jessica and Cindy, so I have their arrows now. Lyle was completely fine with it, and it’s extra security for Jessica who’s in charge of such a large city. I moved Onyx’s marriage to that same body with her brown haired sister, and Cindy married the same body as Sapphire. It makes it easier since we all hang out together with the pack lately.
I offered to marry Steph, Sue and Lyle so they could have arrows too as Landowners, but they all declined. Steph said she’s staying single forever and Sue said I was being weird. Lyle said he was worried that I might be able to get pregnant just from being married, and didn’t want to risk it. I never thought about it like that, but if I get too much more Fertility it might happen. Maybe. I’ll have to ask Citrine about it later.
Most of Ruby’s daughters have come to the ceremony too, and they’re taking up most of the chairs. It’s a lot of red hair and familiar faces, but not all of them look like Ruby, so it’s kind of fun spotting those ones. I’m interrupted from my counting as Ruby, Tasha and Penny all show up in white colored lingerie they got from Snag for the occasion. They all look very beautiful, but Tasha seems to be blushing a lot. I guess she got used to being fully clothed again, and the lingerie is a bit less than she’s used to. That’s what Amber whispers into my ear anyways. My wife is good at this stuff, so she’s probably right.
“Thank you all for coming to our wedding today. I’d like to give a special thanks to Mom, since without her I couldn’t be having this wedding with Tasha and Penny today.” I hear clapping from the crowd so I wiggle, since it feels nice. She then continues “I’d also like to thank everyone else who has helped me get here today, and everyone who came is part of my family. Without family, I have a hard time imagining any of us would be as happy as we are today. Now, my soon to be wives have some things they’d like to say before we tie the knot.” I hope the mention of knot tying doesn’t affect Amber, but I look over and she’s just smiling like normal, so I give her a kiss on the cheek.
Tasha steps forward and says “It’s a bit embarrassing getting married in this, but I know with everyone here I’m safe. I could be standing here naked and none of you would think lesser of me, and that’s amazing. I’ve grown to love Ruby with all of my heart, and I’ll be honored to be an official member of your family.” She then steps back, blushing more and fidgeting a bit. I’m glad my friend can be happy again. Penny steps forward now and says “Thank you grandma, I’ll protect Ruby for us, she’s the best.” I smile as Penny steps back again. She’s always been pretty short with her words around a lot of people. It’s one of the reasons I don’t get to see her and Ruby interact much, but I can tell she’s happy too.
Ruby then turns to both of them and asks “Tasha, Penny, will you two do the honor of marrying me today?” Tasha nods and says “I do.” and Penny adds “Me too.” It’s short, but the looks in their eyes say a lot. I hear a chime and see a message about not being married to Ruby anymore, but I dismiss it since it’s in the way of the three of them sharing kisses. They are so cute together, and now I don’t have to feel as bad about thinking of Amber as my favorite wife.
Once they finish kissing Ruby says turns to the gathered people and says “The celebration orgy will be taking place in an hour, but feel free to show up late if you’re coming. We’ll have seating for people who just want to watch, but it should go all night, so remember to eat before coming. Food won’t be available in the building.” Amber sighs and says “I guess I can’t tease Ruby by not having sex with her anymore. Maybe I should get pregnant before the orgy so she can’t brag about it if she knocks me up.” I just giggle, since they’re still the same sisters, and I’m looking forward to this new sex party.
