Fantasy Wolf Psychosis

Chapter 2: Volume 1: The Lost Village Chapter 1 Adopted orphans

Ethan Gray was running through a dream of fear and crisis, his breath racing and his heart beating. In this strange world, he transforms into a werewolf and is chased by a pack of other werewolves. He could feel their anger and hostility, their growls echoing through the night. Ethan ran as fast as he could, trying to get away from his pursuers, but he knew he couldn't.

Suddenly, he slipped and fell into a deep pit. The werewolves chasing him quickly closed in, their eyes fierce. Ethan had nowhere to run, and fear and despair filled his heart. Just then he heard a familiar cry: "Ethan! Ethan, wake up!"

Ethan suddenly opened his eyes and found himself in bed next to Elena, who was shaking him anxiously. Elena's face filled with worry as she whispered, "Ethan, you're having another nightmare."

Ethan's breathing calmed down and he nodded, trying to pull himself back from the dream. He managed a smile and said, "Thank you, Elena. I'm all right. It was just a dream."

Elena still looked at him anxiously and said, "You've been having nightmares lately, is there anything bothering you?"

Ethan shook his head and said, "Nothing, just some random dreams. Don't worry, I'll be all right."

Elena sighed slightly and said, "Well, if you ever need to talk, let me know."

Ethan looked at her gratefully and nodded. After Elena leaves, Ethan lies in bed, thinking about his dream. He can't explain the source of these dreams, and he doesn't know why he became a werewolf. But he knows that these dreams are affecting his life.

Ethan got up, walked to the window, and looked out at the view. The early morning sun shines on the village, adding a touch of warm color to the peaceful little village. The villagers have started their day's work, the farmers in the fields are tilling, the women are washing clothes by the river, and the children are playing in the village.

Ethan stepped out of the house and took a deep breath of fresh air. He decided to put aside the dreams that troubled him for a while and return to real life. Today, he made an appointment with Elena to help the old farmers in the village harvest their crops.

Elena had been waiting at the entrance to the village when she saw Ethan approaching with a warm smile. Together they walked out into the fields, chatting and getting ready for the day's work.

In the fields, the golden ears of wheat sway gently in the breeze, like a golden ocean. Ethan and Elena picked up their scythes and began to cut wheat in earnest. Despite the hard work, working together makes the time fly. They joked with each other and shared funny things about each other, and laughter echoed across the fields.

After working all morning, Ethan and Elena sat in the shade to rest. Elena handed Ethan a bottle of water and asked, "Ethan, are you sure you're okay? You seem a little upset lately."

Ethan took a sip of water, nodded and said, "It's okay, Elena. It's just some random dreams that are bothering me. But I'll be all right, don't worry."

Elena patted him on the shoulder and said encouragingly, "Just remember, no matter what happens, I'm here for you."

Ethan looked at her gratefully, his heart welling with warmth. He knows that he is not alone, and that Elena and the other kind people in the village are supporting him.

In the afternoon, they continued to work in the fields until the sun went down. Back in the village, Ethan and Elena help the old farmer send the wheat home. The old farmer expressed his heartfelt thanks to them, and Ethan and Elena also felt a sense of accomplishment.

Back home, Ethan's foster parents are preparing dinner. They saw Ethan come back with a loving smile on his face. "How was your day, Ethan?" asked the caring mother.

Ethan smiled and replied, "Good, we helped the old farmer harvest the wheat." It's been a long day, but it's been a full day."

The adoptive father nodded and said, "That's good. It's been a hard day. Wash your hands and come over for dinner."

At dinner, the families sit together and enjoy the rich food. Ethan looked at this warm scene, his heart felt extremely happy. He knows that no matter what happens, this will always be his home, and he will always have his family and friends by his side.

As night fell, Ethan went back to his room. As he lay in bed, he felt a sense of peace as he recalled the day's experience. However, those dreams and strange feelings still haunt him, he does not know what the future will bring, but he decides to face it bravely.

Ethan's background is not simple. He was found by villagers from the forest at the age of three by a hunter, curled up behind a large rock, cold and weak. The hunter took him back to the village, where the villagers were curious and concerned about the unknown child.

After discussion by the village elders, the villagers decided that Ethan should be adopted by the childless Grays. The Greys loved the child as if he were their own. Ethan grew up under their care and gradually adapted to life in the village.

However, the villagers do not fully understand Ethan's history and background. At times, they were puzzled by Ethan's behavior, especially his eyes, which were particularly bright at night. In spite of this, everyone was full of kindness and care for him.

Ethan grew up in the village, and he has a deep understanding of the customs and traditions of the villagers. He learned farming, hunting, and simple handicrafts, skills that gradually earned him recognition and respect among the villagers. Although he knew he was a little different from the other kids, he never felt like an outsider.

His childhood sweetheart Elena was his best friend in the village. Elena is two years older than Ethan and has been a sister to him since childhood. Together, the two experience many of the village's daily delights, demonstrating their close relationship.

When Ethan was ten years old, he and Elena found an abandoned cabin deep in the woods. The hut was covered with dust and cobwebs, as if no one had been there for a long time. They decided to make this their secret base, a place that only the two of them knew about. Whenever they had time, they would come here, tidy up the hut and decorate it as if it were their little kingdom.

Ethan found an old book in the cabin with a blurred cover that contained ancient legends and mysterious symbols. He was fascinated by these stories and always imagined himself to be the hero of the book, having all kinds of fantastic adventures. Elena loves to hear him tell these stories, and the two of them indulge in these wonderful fantasies together.

As time goes on, Ethan and Elena's relationship grows closer. They grow in each other's company and face various challenges and difficulties in life. Together, they helped the villagers farm and harvest, took care of the family's livestock, and lived a busy and fulfilling life.

And yet, deep inside Ethan, there was always a nagging sense of unease. He often has strange dreams in which he is transformed into a werewolf and finds himself in a strange world. He did not know the meaning of these dreams, but every time he woke up, his heart was filled with confusion and fear. He was afraid to tell anyone, including Elena, because he was afraid people would think he was crazy.

Ethan's adoptive parents noticed his unusual behavior and asked if he was having any difficulties. Ethan simply replied that he hadn't been sleeping well lately, without elaborating on the content of the dream. His adoptive parents thought it was just a normal part of growing up and advised him not to worry too much and to pay more attention to rest and relaxation.

Ethan tries to follow his adoptive parents' advice, but the dreams become more frequent and real. The scene he experienced in his dream became clearer and clearer, as if it were not a dream but something real. He began to wonder if he was really going back and forth between the two worlds, but reason told him it was nothing more than the product of a dream.

At night, Ethan lay in bed once more, closed his eyes, and tried to fall asleep. But he knew there was a good chance those dreams would return. He doesn't know what the future holds, but he's determined to find answers and solve the mysteries that haunt him.

Ethan tries to integrate himself into the life of the village, and is busy in the fields every day to help the villagers solve various problems. He felt at ease with these ordinary days, though the other world of that dream still haunted him from time to time. The daily work was hard, but being with Elena and her friends in the village always made him feel warm and happy.

In the village, Ethan and Elena often visit an elderly man, the wisest man in the village, who is known as "the old Scholar". The old scholar loved to tell the children old legends and stories, and Ethan especially loved to hear them because they took his mind off the dreams that troubled him.

That day, Ethan and Elena once again came to the old scholar's home. When the old scholar saw them, he smiled and said, "Ethan, Elena, come in, I'm going to tell you a new story."

The two sat down excitedly beside the old scholar, ready to listen to his story. The old scholar began to tell a story about the old kingdom and magic, and Ethan listened as if he were in that mysterious world.

"Once upon a time, there was a kingdom full of magic and wonders," the old scholar said slowly. "In this kingdom lived all kinds of magical creatures and powerful mages, who together guarded this beautiful country. However, one day, a powerful dark wizard attempted to rule the kingdom and cast an evil spell that threw the kingdom into chaos."

Ethan listened entranced, as if he saw in his mind the kingdom of magic and wonder. He could not help thinking of the world in his dream, and countless questions arose in his mind.

"And then what happened? Elena asked curiously.

The old scholar smiled and continued, "Later, a brave young man with a pure heart and great strength came forward and finally defeated the dark wizard and saved the whole kingdom." The boy became a legendary hero and his name will never be forgotten."

Ethan listened to this story, and his heart was filled with longing and longing. He hopes that he can also find his own answer and mission like the teenager in the story. In reality, however, he is just an ordinary villager facing unexplained dreams and confusion.

On the way home, Elena sensed Ethan's rumination and asked, "Ethan, what are you thinking about?"

Ethan came back to himself and smiled. "I was thinking how brave the boy in that story was. He can face darkness and fear and find his calling."

Elena smiled and said, "You're a brave man too, Ethan. I'm sure you'll find your own answer."

Ethan looked at Elena gratefully and nodded. He knew that he could not be troubled by those dreams, and he should face reality bravely like the teenager in the story and find his own way.

At night, Ethan lay in bed, thinking about the old scholar's story and Elena's words. He decided not to run away from those dreams, but to face them and find the answers. He believed that these dreams must have a deep meaning, perhaps some kind of foreshadowing or warning.
