EYES OF THE HEART

Chapter 8: Chapter 7

"What are you waiting for? Apologize!" To say that Itzel was upset was an understatement. He himself couldn't believe that he was friends with such an impulsive idiot like Aleksandr and even if the alfa didn't want to, he had to apologize.

"I'm sorry..." Sasha stayed silent, he didn't even know the name of the boy he hit, but he didn't want to look worse in front of the boy he likes, he had enough of appearing impulsive.

"Ethan. His name is Ethan" Itzel wanted to give the alfa another blow so that he could sort out his ideas and stop being such an idiot.

"I'm very sorry, Ethan."

"No problem... it was probably an accident or a mix-up." the omga smiled nervously, his cheek was still very red. Aleksandr just got uncomfortable.

[…]

Yuri had left her class and went to wait for Ethan in front of his classroom. He asked some boys if they had seen the blind omega, but they denied. A girl came to Yuri .

"Are you looking for someone?"

"Oh, yes, did you happen to see a boy with a cane?"

"You mean the blind boy?" I saw him chatting with another boy and then they both left in the direction of the library. “Over there,” she indicated.

"Thank you."

He went that way. He found the omega in a hallway near the library with his swollen cheek being deflated with ice by Itzel and Aleksandr standing in front of them. What had happened?

He approached and the two elders noticed his presence. He got down on his knees in front of Itzel.

"What happened to him?" Ethan raised his head when he heard his voice and went to hug him, hiding his face in the opposite chest. He felt safe at Yuri's side. "What happened...?"

“I tripped over something and ended up hitting myself." Itzel went for ice and his friend stayed to accompany me.

The beta was very surprised. The omega was so kind that he lied to protect that idiot and forgave him, but it wouldn't stay that way, he would make him pay. Aleksandr felt like this had happened before and didn't know why. That boy didn't tell on him. If he had said something his brother would probably hate him right now, but he preferred to lie.

"Thank you, Itzel and..." Ethan remained silent, not knowing what else to say, he was afraid that Yuri would realize that he didn't know the boy who supposedly helped him.

"Aleksandr. I am Yuri's older brother" That surprised the omega since Yuri never mentioned that his brother will study at the same university as them.

“Sorry, I forgot to mention that my brother would study here." he told Ethan, he completely forgot.

Aleksandr cleared his throat slightly so that Yuri could see him and then directed his gaze to the youngest of all, he wanted to know what relationship his brother had with that omega. Yuri didn't take the hint. Aleksandr slapped his forehead. "It seems that I have to ask directly" he thought.

"Yuri..." the named person turned around. "What relationship do you have with that boy?"

"You shouldn't care about Aleksandr" the beta responded with a serious face.

"He's my best friend." He thought about saying that they were a couple, but he didn't want to make Ethan uncomfortable.

"You never told us about him." Yuri remained silent.

What Aleksandr said made Ethan feel sad. Is Yuri ashamed of him? It would be better not to draw conclusions before an explanation, then I would ask Yuri why it did it.

"I know, but you never had time-" said Yuri with nervous but Itzel interrupted him.

"Is your cheek better?" Itzel spoke, interrupting that uncomfortable atmosphere.

"Yes, thank you very much for the help, Itzel."

"No problem, but we have to go now, right, Sasha?" Aleksandr turned to look at him and noticed his annoyed look that was hidden with a smile.

"S-Sure, we're leaving. Bye bye."

"Bye Ethan, Yuri."

"Bye," those named said at the same time. The opponents left. Itzel walked hurriedly in front of Aleksandr who had his eyes downcast and followed him walking in the same way.

“Are you really okay?” Yuri asked again with concern that was still present.

"Yes I am. Seriously" the omega responded as confidently as possible, after all it wasn't completely a lie that he was fine, he just felt a little pain having to move his face, but he believed he could tolerate it.

"I'll believe. By the way, do you already know who your roommate will be?

"Not yet and you?" Yuri responded with a negative.

[…]

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Itzel was pulling Aleksandr by the ears. I had asked to borrow his ushanka with the intention of doing that at the end.

"May I know, what the hell were you thinking when you hit him?"

"Oh! Hurts! Let go of me!" Itzy may be shorter than the alpha, but he was certainly much scarier when he got angry. "I swear I thought it was Benjamin and that it was trying to take advantage of you." Oh! Now leave me.

"Okay, let's say I believe you and I'm going to let you go, but first..." Itzel slapped him and hit him in the stomach with his elbow. Then he began to hit him more in the stomach and near the ribs, as a final blow he gave another blow to the nose, making it completely red. It will surely swell later and leave a big bruise. "Be grateful that you made me feel sorry for you. The next time you hit someone for no reason I will hit you so hard you won't be able to feel your face!"

Aleksandr let the beta hit him. He knew that it was his mistake not to have taken a good look at the person he hit and he was willing to let the other take out his anger by hitting his body as compensation. He grabbed his cheek and abdomen trying to minimize the pain.

"It's okay, I'm sorry, I was just trying to protect you." He lowered his head looking sad. "I thought Benjamin was trying to hurt you."

"No! You're not going to convince me!" Itzel looked away, every time he got upset with Aleksandr the latter acted like a scolded dog to forgive him. "Ash!" I hate you because I can't hate you! I forgive you only because Ethan did it too, but please don't do it again. And go to the infirmary."

"Okay, I promise I won't do it, but I'll still take care of you," he said as he walked in the direction of the aforementioned infirmary, although he walked at such a slow pace that it made the beta desperate.

"Get out or you'll get worse!" Itzel threatened before running after him, making the alpha Ivanov run as fast as he could, fleeing from fear. They stayed like that until they reached the infirmary and the tallest one was treated. It seemed that the wounds were well healed, but no one said that Itzel would not continue its revenge later.

The beta would take revenge, in a certain part, for Yuri since it would not do so for the lie that was told to him as a fact. They just hoped that Yuri would not find out what really happened.
