EYES OF THE HEART

Today was a new day.

The day before Ethan had slept at home and today he would return to the dorms while his parents would help him carry his things.

He woke up early and got ready as usual. He put away everything he needed and went down to have breakfast with his parents. They were already ready for work and were waiting for him in the kitchen.

"Honey, how was your first day at university?" Nicolas asked with affection and some excitement.

"Very good, dad. The class was very interesting and I also made a new friend. His name is Itzel, he is very cheerful and funny, he helped me get to the library."

He preferred to avoid everything that happened with Aleksandr so as not to cause more unnecessary problems.

"We are happy, little one." Michael commented with a smile "but you know we want to meet him" he finished seriously and Nicolas nodded. Although for some reason that name seemed familiar to both of them.

The two-coloured man recalled what happened when he introduced them to Yuri. He smiled, it was a beautiful memory.

After finishing breakfast, he stayed in the living room waiting for Yuri to go with him. Meanwhile, the youngest alpha had gotten ready an hour earlier to get there as quickly as possible and so that Ethan wouldn't leave him like the day before. Also, he had to take some boxes. Yuri left the house with two rather large boxes thinking about classes, his roommate, who until now was unknown, and Ethan.

"Yuri!" Aleksandr called him as he left the house. The younger turned around surprised. "Are we going together?"

"Where?"

The alpha hit his forehead and sighed. Sometimes his younger brother could be very absent-minded and not pick up on direct hints.

"Well, to college, silly, don't you want me to go with you?"

"It's just that you like going with Itzel and it seemed strange to me that now you want to go with me, but let's go."

The russian took one of the boxes and together they went to the omega's house. Aleksandr was confused, he thought they would go straight ahead.

"Brother, why did we come here?"

"I forgot to mention that I promised to look for Ethan to go together."

The older alpha felt that his luck couldn't get any worse. Now he would have to endure the omega's presence and his scent all the way to the university. He was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't notice that the omega was already at his side.

"Hello, Aleksandr" he smiled tenderly, even if the other was annoyed with his presence he would try to be very kind, but he had to admit that that smile was too tender.

"Yes, hello." the emotion with which he responded melted the arctics with so much warmth. Was the sarcasm noticeable? Obviously. He said it in such an indifferent way that it seemed like he was talking to himself.

"Don't pay attention to him, little one. He's a grumpy old man." Yuri joked and Ethan started laughing, which didn't please Aleksndr. 'That omega dares to make fun of me?' thought the older alpha.

The three of them arrived at their destination where they found Itzel eating his breakfast at the entrance.

"Ethan!" the beta was happy to see the bicolor again.

"Itzy!" the named felt so tender that he couldn't help but hug the other boy, without noticing that a certain alpha was uncomfortable with that closeness. Aleksandr didn't want to continue being ignored by his crush and cleared his throat a little loudly causing beta and omega to look at him.

"Ah! Hello, Aleksandr. Hello, Yuri." that bothered Yuri's brother more. Itzel was ignoring him because of that omega. Meanwhile Yuri was happy that Ethan had a new friend, although she felt a little sad. It hurt her to see them together because she thought she could replace him.

"Could we go drop off these boxes?" said Aleksander annoyed.

After meeting Itzel at the entrance, the four of them went to the bedrooms. The beta had just realized that Aleksandr and Ethan were roommates. He felt sorry for the omega since Aleksandr was a difficult alpha to deal with, but above all he thought about how lucky Aleksandr would be.

Ethan left the box on the bed since there were more boxes that his parents brought the day before in the afternoon, but when they arrived at Yuri's bedroom someone had already settled on one side of the room. It seemed that today he would meet his roommate. After leaving Yuri's boxes, they separated and each went to their respective faculty.
