Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 649 Controversial

Sasha and Kristine exchanged a look that spoke volumes.

He clearly didn't get it.

Their perfect evening—unfiltered, uninterrupted, unbothered—was now being encroached upon by a stranger who thought charm alone could make up for his lack of boundaries.

Sasha turned back to him, folding her hands in front of her. "You said your date stood you up?"

"Yeah. Crazy, right? She texted last minute. Said she had an emergency. I was already dressed and out the door."

"Hmm," Sasha said, nodding. "Sounds rough."

The tone of her voice didn't match her words. She of course recognized who this man was. Only someone who was living under a rock wouldn't.

Kristine tried again, more directly this time. "Look, we're sorry about your night, but we came here to spend time together. Just the two of us." She frowned. She'd seen this man defeating her husband on the court 4 times in a row. Kristine definitely has no love for this person.

The man looked between them, seemingly confused that his presence wasn't being welcomed with open arms. "No offense, but wouldn't you rather have a little company? I mean, you ladies look like you could use some fun."

Sasha's smile disappeared. "We were having fun. Until you sat down."

The bluntness caught him off guard, and for a moment, his charm faltered but he wasn't disheartened at all.

Kristine, ever the gentler of the two, softened the blow. "We're really just here for each other tonight. I hope your evening turns out okay, though."

There was a beat of silence, tension lingering like a thread in the air.

Finally, the man shrugged, muttering something under his breath as he still sat down comfortably like he belonged in the table with the two lovely ladies. "Didn't realize girls' night meant no guys allowed."

"It does when you invite yourself," Sasha said, just loud enough.

"I see," Ross said smoothly, his tone unbothered. "But that doesn't faze me in the slightest. I just want to get to know you two beautiful ladies a little better. I'm Ross, by the way."

He finally introduced himself with a relaxed smile, though it was unnecessary—everyone knew who he was.

Kristine raised an eyebrow, her expression quickly shifting from neutral to ice-cold.

"We know who you are," she said sharply. "We just didn't realize how shameless you are, Mr. Oakley."

Her voice carried a mix of scorn and restrained fury. Sasha subtly tensed beside her, sensing the tension rise like a storm front. But Kristine wasn't finished.

"I guess we shouldn't be surprised," she continued, arms crossed tightly over her chest. "A man with more than two dozen wives at home, and yet here you are—still prowling, still looking for your next thrill. You disgust me."

The venom in her words was palpable. She wasn't just speaking for herself; she was speaking for someone else—her husband, perhaps. There was a personal sting to it, as if this encounter had become an outlet for long-suppressed resentment.

Ross, however, didn't flinch. He didn't look offended, insulted, or even remotely annoyed. Instead, he offered a calm, almost amused smile, and turned his eyes to Sasha as though Kristine's words had bounced right off him.

"Your friend's something else," he said lightly, chuckling. "Got a tongue like a blade on her."

Sasha met his gaze, unblinking, her eyes narrowing ever so slightly. She wasn't impressed by the charm—or the deflection.

"What are you really doing here?" she asked coldly. "You already have a harem of wives. Are you so empty inside that you chase every beautiful woman you see just to fill the void?"

Her voice wasn't raised, but it cut deep. Ross's reputation had preceded him: a man who didn't just flirt or play around, but collected women like treasures—yet he didn't abandon them.

He married them. Provided for them. Took responsibility. That fact alone made Sasha hesitate in judging him outright. Was he a monster… or just a man with a strange idea of love?

Ross exhaled, then shrugged casually, his smile never wavering.

"Ah, that's an easy one," he said, as if the answer was obvious. "I like your friend here."

Kristine scoffed. Sasha's jaw tightened.

"She's married," Sasha said firmly.

"So am I," Ross replied smoothly. "That should make it easier for us to understand each other, don't you think?"

He flashed a smile at Sasha, then at Kristine—unbothered, unashamed, and entirely comfortable in his own skin. To him, marriage didn't seem like a boundary.

If anything, it was simply part of the game he was already winning.

Sasha didn't respond right away. She stared at him, trying to read beyond the charm and arrogance.

Was he joking? Testing them? Or was this truly how he lived—fearless, unapologetic, and utterly immune to judgment?

Kristine, on the other hand, had already heard enough. Her hands clenched at her sides, her face full of fury and disbelief.

"You think everything's a joke, don't you?" she hissed. "Women aren't prizes for you to collect, Ross Oakley. No matter how rich, famous, or charming you think you are."

Ross tilted his head thoughtfully, as if considering her words.

"No, not prizes," he said at last. "But some women… they shine so bright, it'd be a crime not to try and reach out. And if they let me—if—I don't take that lightly and I'd take care of them with all that I and the whole world could offer."

There was a strange sincerity in his voice, even if his logic was warped.

Sasha let out a slow breath, not sure whether to be intrigued or horrified.

Still, since Sasha was single, it wasn't entirely wrong to step in and help her married friend out of this uncomfortable situation.

At the very least, she could shift the focus and give Kristine a moment to breathe.

"How about me?" Sasha asked, her tone playful but edged with curiosity. "You said you wanted to get to know both of us. Does that mean you're interested in me too?"

Ross's eyes lit up with amusement, his smile deepening.

"Of course," he said smoothly. Then, leaning in slightly, voice lowering into something huskier, he added, "If you'd let me, I'd have you screaming my name for hours—so long and so hard you'd be begging me to stop. Is that something you'd want, Sasha?"
