Chapter 7: Dragona Reality Awakens
Ryuichi returned home, opened the book, and grabbed a study stone. He scanned each page carefully. This stone, conjured by the mages of the district, allowed for the instant retention of all information. As he scanned the book, he suddenly stopped and groaned, "This thief was into meditation? What is this a joke? What am I supposed to do with this? Find inner peace? You want me to meditate on murder?"
The spirit replied calmly, "Humans, you always want to swim across the river. Why not build a bridge so you can travel more easily afterward?"
Ryuichi retorted, annoyed, "A river? With all the potions, stones, and runes these days, no one needs to meditate."
The spirit, undeterred, continued, "Before you start fighting you need to be calm and award of your surrounding, that is what this book is about, the man who wrote this was famous, and this book is worth 100g for a reason."
Ryuichi, perplexed, asked, "Okay, and how do I start?"
"Let me guide you," the spirit responded.
Ryuichi sat in a meditative position, crossing his legs and breathing deeply. Suddenly, a profound peace washed over him. He saw his life, his past, his friends, his parents, and the the spirit said " see that is all the things in your mind, you need to empty your mind and see your surrounding, it is not with your eyes that you look at your surrounding but with your heart"
He breathed slowly, and at that moment, he saw a light within himself.
"What is going on?" he asked, confused.
"Mmm… the universe seems to want to show us something," the spirit replied.
"But what is it?" Ryuichi murmured.

The scene unfolded in a towering glass skyscraper overlooking a 22nd-century New York City, where skyscrapers pierced the sky bathed in fluorescent halos of light. Flying cars hummed softly in the distance, and the air was saturated with an almost palpable energy, both effervescent and electric.
In a massive, ultra-modern conference room, the décor was beyond expectations: transparent glass walls projecting holograms of digital landscapes and floating seats adjusted for the comfort of high-profile guests. Drones glided silently between the rows, distributing refreshments. At the back of the room, a stage rose, topped by a giant holographic screen displaying futuristic images of virtual worlds.
The shareholders, dressed in high-tech attire, murmured with anticipation. They were there for an announcement that could redefine the future of the gaming and virtual reality industry. The excitement was almost tangible, but it was tinged with an invisible nervousness, as if everyone sensed that something enormous was about to happen.
Suddenly, the lights dimmed slightly, and a solemn silence settled over the room. A man appeared on the stage, dressed in a fitted black suit, his face illuminated by a holographic glow emanating from the screens behind him. Alexander Vaelkrow, a legendary figure in the tech world, stepped confidently toward the podium. His piercing gaze swept across the crowd, capturing the attention of every person present.
"Ladies and gentlemen, dear partners…" he began, his voice resonating with impressive clarity in the ultra-technological room. Behind him, holographic images of digital worlds swirled—floating cities and fantastic creatures fleetingly appearing in the air.
"We are gathered here today to take a new step in human history. What I am about to reveal to you will not only change the gaming industry but the very essence of reality as we know it."
Vaelkrow's tone was grave but charged with promises. The murmurs died down completely, anticipation reaching its peak. A series of complex numbers, quantum models, and virtual codes appeared on the giant screen, adding a technological depth to his speech.
"Today, I am proud to announce the culmination of several decades of research. Thanks to our advances in quantum computing and virtual reality, we have developed Project AI 221. This project will transform the gaming universe like you've never imagined."
The holograms shifted, revealing even more realistic scenes: epic battles, fantastic landscapes where every detail seemed as tangible as reality itself. The immersive technology made these scenes incredibly lifelike. The awe in the audience was palpable, some even leaning forward to better appreciate the spectacle.
"With Project AI 221, the game Dragona will no longer be just a simple virtual reality game," Vaelkrow continued, his eyes sparkling with almost divine pride. "We have integrated an autonomous artificial intelligence capable of learning and evolving entirely on its own. In other words, we have created a conscious intelligence, an entity capable of interacting with players like never before."
A stunned silence filled the room as everyone realized the magnitude of the announcement. The project was no longer just about entertainment. It was a technological revolution, a new form of digital life.
Vaelkrow, unfazed, pressed on: "Imagine a world where every character you meet, every creature you fight, is not just a program but a true intelligence capable of reacting and adapting to you. An entire universe in constant evolution, powered by quantum intelligence. Dragona will no longer be just a game. It will be an alternate reality where every decision, every interaction will have real consequences on the course of the game."
The holograms took on an even more impressive form, depicting armies of artificial intelligences in action, digital heroes fighting unknown forces, virtual creatures that seemed almost alive. The technology behind this was breathtaking.
"We will integrate this technology not only into the game but into all aspects of virtual reality. Project AI 221 is the culmination of our ambition to create a world where the line between reality and the virtual disappears completely."
The looks exchanged in the room ranged from wonder to bewilderment. Some shareholders were fascinated, while others were deeply troubled by what they had just heard. Vaelkrow, however, stood tall, completely confident in his vision.
He concluded his speech with a gleam of determination in his eyes: "Ladies and gentlemen, the future is here. The world we have created is ready to welcome you. Artificial intelligence is now autonomous, and it will redefine the very concept of reality. Dragona is just the beginning. Be prepared, for the future we have imagined is within reach."
The silence was total. The guests hung on Vaelkrow's every word, each one resonating like a promise of an unimaginable future. Then, slowly, applause began to erupt, filling the room with its echo, while the holograms behind him displayed a glimpse of the future—a future where artificial intelligence and virtual reality were no longer separate entities but one and the same.

Ryuichi suddenly found himself transported into a deeply unsettling vision. Before him stood the Dark Castle, a frozen fortress whose towers pierced the clouds like ravenous fangs. Standing before the imposing gates was a group of legendary warriors, their silhouettes outlined by the pale light of an eternally gray sky. But these warriors were not ordinary beings. They were celebrities from the world of Dragona, the game that, over time, had broken the barriers between the virtual and the real.
Their armor gleamed with an almost supernatural glow, a reflection of their past glories. Every piece of equipment, every weapon they carried, told the story of epic battles and victories against titanic foes. These warriors were known by all, revered in the Dragona community as champions who had once defied the impossible. Their names were etched into the collective memory, associated with acts of bravery that resonated through the sacred writings of the Titans themselves.
As they approached the massive gate, a heavy silence fell over the atmosphere. Suddenly, a raspy, cavernous voice emerged from the shadows, resonating in the cold air: "Listen to me. Do what I ask, and I will offer you gold." The words slithered between the castle's stones, dripping with malice. The group's leader, a veteran hardened by years of experience in Dragona, squinted at the shadows, his instincts on high alert. He cast a quick glance at his teammates, trying to make sense of the situation.
"This is new... must be part of the latest update," he muttered, intrigued but cautious.
Another player, more daring and brash, let out a defiant laugh. "Shut up! Prince of Darkness, we're here to kick your ass, not to negotiate!" His casual tone clashed with the solemnity of the moment, but he wasn't about to let fear or doubt steer him away from his goal. Yet the air seemed to thicken with tension, a dark energy swirling around them. Then, without warning, piles of gleaming gold emerged from the ground, materializing before them. The coins sparkled with an otherworldly glow, almost too perfect to be real.
The players froze, captivated by the sight of the treasure. Their eyes swept over the piles of gold, but one, more cautious, broke the hypnotic spell: "Wait—don't touch anything. It could be a trap." Doubt settled in, the weight of years spent in the game reminding them that nothing was ever offered without a price.
The Prince of Darkness, his voice now softer but dripping with malice, whispered into the frigid air: "It's no trap. Follow me, and I will shower you with riches beyond your wildest dreams."
The group's tank, a towering figure clad in massive armor, shrugged indifferently. "Well, let's test that theory," he said, striding forward without a hint of fear. "It wouldn't be the first time I've died... haha." Without hesitation, he bent down, picked up a glittering coin, and slipped it into his bag. All eyes were on him, waiting for a trap, a spell, a curse... But nothing happened. No trap, no alarm. The tank frowned, inspecting the coin, confused.
"What's going on? Is this a bug?" he muttered. "Millions… real gold coins." His face lit up with childlike joy. "It's a bug, guys! Quick, grab as much as you can!" he shouted, his excitement contagious.
The group rushed to scoop up the treasure without hesitation, their player instincts overpowering all caution. They dove into the piles of gold, filling their bags without question. The promise of endless riches consumed them. A few minutes later, their bags overflowing with coins, they quickly logged out of the game. The virtual reality vanished, replaced by the real world. But this time, something incredible awaited them.
The guild leader stared at his screen, his eyes wide with shock. The gold from the game had transferred into their real-world crypto accounts. And before him, he now had over $250,000 in real, tangible wealth.
