Chapter 4: Decision
Bloody Habanera: "@Valkyrie, Sister Brynhildr, how strong are the gods in your world? If they're normal, maybe I can help."
Valkyrie: "No… you're still far from their level."
Valkyrie: "Gods are gods, after all. They're far above ninjas, so I don't want to get you into trouble, little girl."
Bloody Habanera: "Who says I'm a little girl?! I graduated from the Academy, I'm no child anymore!"
The Strongest Man on Earth: "Actually, that should be clear just from seeing the mission's difficulty! Even if the gods in Miss Brynhildr's world were weak, they're not something we can fight against. I just hope Broly will be okay!"
I'm Not the School Belle: "Don't worry. I believe Broly can kill the gods!"
The Legendary Super Saiyan: "@Valkyrie, when is the first match? I'm eager to fight the gods."
Valkyrie: "Tomorrow."
Valkyrie: "Today, I'll spend my time searching for the remaining 12 people."
The Legendary Super Saiyan: "No, there's no need to find the remaining 12."
Valkyrie: "….."
Valkyrie: "Huh?"
The Legendary Super Saiyan: "Let me fight first. If the gods can defeat me, there's no point in looking for the others."
The Legendary Super Saiyan: "On the other hand, if the gods are too weak, I'll help you complete your Ragnarok."
With his strength and growth talent, he was 100% certain that no one in that universe would be his match.
Valkyrie: "..."
Brynhildr was stunned. Her emerald green eyes reflected an astonishment she couldn't hide.
From Broly's words, she had only one thought:
This is madness…
This guy was insane!
Yet, in some strange and inexplicable way…
It was a madness that seemed believable!
I'm Not the School Belle: "What bold words… I'm already excited!"
I'm Not the School Belle: "Even if it's crazy, being crazy is also a kind of heroism!"
Bloody Habanera: "So exciting!"
The Strongest Man on Earth: "I'm excited too! If I weren't so weak, I'd love to join this 'Ragnarok'! I'd be the 'God of War'!"
Valkyrie: "I don't want to ruin your enthusiasm, Broly, but I can't bet the fate of humanity entirely on you."
The Legendary Super Saiyan: "Tch, don't be pessimistic. I don't have the slightest chance of losing."
That statement left Brynhildr, who was about to respond, utterly speechless.
She was completely dumbfounded, not knowing how to reply.
Göll, the youngest of Brynhildr's twelve sisters, noticed her older sister's unusual behavior and couldn't help but ask.
"What's wrong, Hild-nee-sama?"
Brynhildr sighed. Internally, she didn't know how to express it, but in the end, she could only reply:
"It's nothing… just pick 12 strong people."
"Twelve? Isn't it 13, onee-sama?"
"Yes… but the first spot is already decided."
Göll's eyes widened upon hearing this. "It must be someone very strong for onee-sama to have chosen them for the first match."
"…Um."
Strong?
Who knows.
Brynhildr had never seen Broly fight.
However, the mission was already underway.
All she could do now was believe.
---
The Legendary Super Saiyan: "Let me know when Ragnarok officially starts. I have something to take care of first."
After typing this, Broly closed the group.
What others thought of him? He didn't care at all.
As a Saiyan, what's wrong with being insane?
Saiyans are walking war machines! Except for Goku, who's a naive fool, isn't Vegeta a perfect combination of madness and pride?
And he, the mutated Legendary Saiyan—what else could he expect?
Slowly, he was beginning to understand his Saiyan blood better.
Innocence and simplicity weren't meant to be part of his identity.
He picked up the monster egg, jumped off the rock, and landed heavily, leaving two massive craters in the ground. With heavy steps, he slowly walked toward his home.
He knew that when he returned, Paragus would probably use that damn button to neutralize him.
With that thought, he glanced at the collar around his neck. His eyes gleamed coldly, though he quickly buried that emotion deep within himself.
Paragus—the man who called himself his father but only wanted to control him.
While other fathers cared for their children, he had used his son as a pawn for his revenge against King Vegeta.
Did he feel anything for Paragus?
Not anymore.
Broly was no longer the naive, obedient child he once was.
What kind of stupidity could you expect from someone who had treated you cruelly since childhood?
But at the same time, this was typical for Universe 7 Saiyans: a cruel, ruthless race.
Proof? Vegeta killing Nappa without hesitation, despite having grown up together.
There were few Saiyans capable of forming emotional bonds.
A rare example was Bardock, Goku's father, who sent his son away at the last moment to save him.
But even he seemed "abnormal" for his race, especially since his wife, Gine, was an unusual Saiyan.
For Saiyans, neither family, affection, nor friendship could surpass the importance of strength and self-interest.
For Paragus, revenge mattered more than Broly.
Broly was nothing but a tool to achieve it.
"I need to find a way to get rid of this thing..."
Broly tugged lightly at the collar around his neck as he thought.
Just as he was immersed in his thoughts, a scream broke the silence.
"BROOOOOLYYYYYY!!"
Broly's eyes narrowed. Without a second thought, he dropped the egg he was holding and ran toward the source of the scream.
With one foot, he struck the ground.
Boom!
The impact created a massive crater.
Like a cannonball, Broly shot forward, breaking the sound barrier as the air exploded around him.
In an instant, he crossed most of the planet.
With his sharp vision, he saw what was happening near his refuge: a spaceship was landing in front of his home.
Near the ship, there was a creature resembling a short-legged spider and three humanoid figures.
Aside from Paragus, he recognized two of them:
A curvaceous woman with pale green skin and short white hair.
And an older man with orange skin.
Broly frowned as he identified the newcomers.
The woman was Cheelai, and the older man was Lemo.
"They're here already?"
