Zhu Ziyang and Jiang Nannan returned to Shrek Academy and parted ways upon arriving at Sea God Island.

Jiang Nannan went to see Elder Song, as was proper etiquette for a disciple. With Elder Song's guidance, she would begin absorbing the flower gifted to her by Moon Laurel Immortal Tea.

"Hehe, but Teacher, I came back just fine, didn't I? And I even brought something back!" Zhu Ziyang chuckled, pulling out a jade box containing the Phoenix Sunflower and holding it out to Mu En.

"Sigh... Ziyang, I want you to consider the consequences before you act in the future. Putting yourself in uncertain danger so recklessly—that's no way to go through life," Mu En said seriously, not even looking at the flower.

"I understand, Teacher." Zhu Ziyang's expression turned solemn. "I didn't go alone—I had Nannan with me. And besides, I now have the ability in my left eye."

"Sigh... I'll let it go this time since you've returned safely," Mu En sighed. He was aware of the power in both Zhu Ziyang's eyes, and while still worried, he was grateful nothing had gone wrong. "Now, tell me about the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well."

"Yes, Teacher." Zhu Ziyang nodded. "Our earlier theory that it was the main base of the Body Sect—was wrong. Aside from some spirit herbs, we found nothing inside. "Yes, Teacher." Zhu Ziyang left to find Yan Shaozhe.

"Heh... so this is what it means to be a child of destiny?" Mu En murmured to himself, smiling as he watched Zhu Ziyang leave. "That Little Tao girl is really lucky—just like her ancestor."

Zhu Ziyang quickly completed his task and returned to the Sea God's Pavilion. Just as he arrived, Ma Xiaotao emerged from beneath the Golden Tree. Judging by her expression, she had made a breakthrough.

Being part of Shrek's official tournament team had its perks.

The underground world beneath the Golden Tree was the most concentrated source of spirit energy and life force in all of Shrek Academy. Inner courtyard disciples considered training there the highest honor. But it wasn't accessible to just anyone.
