DOULUO: THE DRAGON GOD WITH GACHA

Chapter 66: SHOP & INVITATION

Xuanyu leaned back in his chair inside the Wish-Granting Shop, his fingers lightly tapping against the wooden counter. The dim glow of lanterns illuminated the cozy interior, casting soft shadows on the shelves lined with mysterious artifacts and ancient scrolls. His gaze drifted to the translucent screen floating in front of him, displaying his current shop points.

[Total Shop Points: 1,900]

--------

[DING! You have fulfilled the wish of 'Almighty'—You receive 100 shop points.]

[DING! You have fulfilled the wish of 'Uchiha Shisui'—You receive 100 shop points.]

[DING! You have fulfilled the wish of 'Almighty'—You receive 250 shop points.]

[DING! You have fulfilled the wish of 'Irene Belserion'—You receive 100 shop points.]

[DING! You have fulfilled the wish of 'Rias Gremory'—You receive 1,000 shop points.]

[DING! You have fulfilled the wish of 'Senju Tsunade'—You receive 500 shop points.]

--------

A thoughtful hum escaped his lips as he analyzed the notifications.

"So the number of shop points I get depends on the scope of the wish…" he murmured, rubbing his chin in contemplation.

His eyes flickered over the list again.

"Almighty's first wish only counted as a minor one, so I got 100 points. The same with Shisui and Irene's wishes—small-scale, minimal impact."

His gaze lingered on Almighty's second wish.

"But this time, I got 250 points… Maybe because he wished for a new and powerful Quirk. That would explain the increase."

Then there was Tsunade's wish—350 points.

"Greater than the others… Most likely because she wished for the resurrection of multiple people. Bringing back the dead, especially in large numbers, is no small feat."

And finally, the largest reward—Rias Gremory's wish, worth a staggering 1,000 points.

"Summoning individuals with high potential and strength… That must have been a significant wish, possibly involving powerful beings or shifting fate itself."

He leaned back with a smirk, letting the thoughts settle.

Each wish granted came with its own weight, its own price. But that was the nature of his shop—where desires became reality, and reality bent to his will.

With a flick of his wrist, the screen disappeared. Xuanyu knew one thing for certain.

The greater the wish, the greater the reward… and the greater the consequences.

-------

Suddenly, Xuanyu's attention was drawn to the Fate Door as it creaked open, glowing faintly with multicolored light. A powerful presence stepped through, and Xuanyu immediately recognized the towering figure.

All Might.

The Symbol of Peace carried himself with his usual air of confidence.

Xuanyu smiled as he inclined his head in greeting.

"Welcome, Mr. All Might. How are you today?"

All Might returned the smile, his deep voice warm yet firm. "Hello, Mr. Xuanyu. I am well, thank you. And you?"

Xuanyu chuckled lightly, folding his hands together as he leaned forward.

"I'm fine too," he replied smoothly. "So, what brought you here today?"

"As you saw in Izuku's future," Almight began, his voice filled with the same reassuring strength that inspired generations, "he will be participating in the U.A. Sports Festival. On behalf of U.A. Academy, I am here to invite you and the other members of the Wish Granting Shop to witness the festival."

Xuanyu smiled but didn't immediately respond. Instead, he studied Almight carefully before raising an eyebrow.

"Whose idea was it to invite us?" he asked, a hint of curiosity lacing his tone.

Almight frowned slightly, as if the question had caught him off guard. "It was Principal Nezu's idea," he admitted after a moment.

Xuanyu's smile deepened at the answer. That principal is really shrewd. Almight might be the one delivering the invitation, but it was clear that Nezu had orchestrated this move. The principal must have learned about the Wish Granting Shop's abilities and, more importantly, Xuanyu authority to distribute Fate Cards.

Xuanyu tapped his fingers against the armrest, his mind working quickly. Normal Fate Cards could be given freely, but Premium Fate Cards were a different story. They held power that could change a person's destiny by directly giving free wish. And while Xuanyu only had indirect authority over them, it was still significant enough to make someone like Nezu curious.

By inviting the Wish Granting Shop to the festival, Nezu wasn't just offering them front-row seats—he was creating an opportunity to not only help us forge connections with U.A academy but also to observe us up close. To analyze their powers, their influence, and perhaps even their motivations.

Xuanyu chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Nezu, huh? Your principal sure knows how to play his cards." His gaze sharpened slightly.

Suddenly Xuanyu leaned back in his chair, his smile never fading. "Very well, we accept the invitation. I'll inform the others."

Almight exhaled in relief. "That's great to hear. And… thank you, Xuanyu. This means a lot."

Xuanyu merely waved his hand dismissively. " Besides, can Izuku control One For All properly? Otherwise, what would be the fun if the matches went the same way as in the original?"

Almight smiled, exuding his usual warmth. "You don't have to worry about that. Thanks to my guidance and the efforts of our teachers, he managed to control One For All three months ago. Right now, he's refining his control and strengthening his base physique using gravity bracelets enchanted by Lady Irene. So far, he can withstand twice the gravity without even tapping into One For All's amplification."

Xuanyu raised an eyebrow in mild surprise. "Twice the gravity already? Not bad. That should put him far above his original self at this stage."

Almight nodded, his pride evident. "Indeed. At this rate, he'll be able to maximize One For All's potential far sooner than I did."

Xuanyu shifted in his seat, his expression growing serious. "Well, that takes care of Izuku. But what about your arch-enemy—All For One? You saw his hiding place in Izuku's future clip. What happened to him? Did you catch him?"

Almight's smile faltered, his face darkening slightly. "No," he admitted, his voice laced with frustration. "Somehow, he caught wind of the raid beforehand. By the time we arrived, he had already vanished along with his subordinates and most of his critical resources. All that remained was an abandoned base filled with outdated equipment and mostly useless documents."

Xuanyu exhaled, leaning back. "That man is slippery, I'll give him that. But it does raise an important question—how did he know about the raid? Someone must have leaked the information."

Almight's expression tightened, his hands clenching into fists before he forced himself to relax. "That's precisely what we're investigating. The possibility of a traitor within the Hero Public Safety Commission or even U.A. itself cannot be ignored. We're keeping this matter highly classified, but the fact that he managed to evade us so smoothly is… unsettling."

Xuanyu narrowed his eyes slightly. "A traitor, huh? If that's the case, you're dealing with someone who has deep access to highly classified intel. Have you at least managed to find any leads?"

Almight sighed but nodded. "While All For One himself has gone underground, some of his underlings have been sighted within underground networks. We've dispatched teams to track their movements, but they're being exceptionally cautious. Still, we're closing in."

Xuanyu smirked. "At least you haven't completely lost his trail. But knowing All For One, he's not just running—he's planning something big. I wouldn't be surprised if he's already setting the stage for his next move." His gaze flickered with amusement. "And here I thought the U.A. Sports Festival would be the most exciting thing happening in the near future."

Almight chuckled, though there was little humor in it. "I wish that were the case. But no matter what he's planning, we will be ready for him."

Xuanyu's smirk widened slightly. "Let's hope so. Well then, looks like things are going to get a lot more interesting."

Here's a refined version with better flow and clarity:

After talking a bit more, All Might was about to leave, just then the door of the Wish-Granting Shop lit up with a dazzling nine-colored glow. In the painting, the eyes of the nine-colored dragon flickered to life for a brief moment before returning to normal—completely unnoticed by anyone.
