Chapter 2: Chapter 2
After awakening Xu Yunhan's martial spirit, they let him rest in his room while Zhao Wuji headed toward the principal's office with a happy expression, eager to share the news with Flender.

Flender's Office
Flender sat in his chair, counting money with a greedy expression.
"6,996… 6,997… 6,998… 6,999… 7,000…"
He let out a sigh. "It's so difficult to make money. Even though we cultivated a genius like Qin Ming, since then, not a single student has met our requirements. If this continues, we'll have to shut down the academy."
Flender skillfully hid the money under his desk, locking it away with several locks before leaning back in his chair with a thoughtful expression.
Suddenly, Zhao Wuji and Shao Xin excitedly entered his office, causing Flender to raise his eyebrows.
Zhao Wuji: "Flender, you won't believe it! The kid whose life we saved has Full Innate Soul Power. And not only that, he also possesses a pretty good martial spirit!"
Flender's expression changed as he turned toward Shao Xin for confirmation. Shao Xin nodded, his expression equally excited.
Flender immediately stood up and said, "Take me to that kid now!"
Shao Xin shook his head and said, "Let him rest. He's gone through too much at such a young age. You should visit him tomorrow — it will be better for his health to let him rest."
Flender calmed down and nodded. "You're right, Shao Xin. We shouldn't rush things. Let him rest."
The three of them continued chatting with each other, discussing what they should do with the boy. Zhao Wuji also joined in, sharing his thoughts on the matter.
Next morning...
Xu Yunhan woke up and looked out the window. His gaze lingered on the horizon as he murmured to himself, "I'm still having a hard time accepting it… I've reincarnated into the past — 10,000 years ago. It's truly unbelievable… yet the reality is right in front of me."
He shook his head, pushing away the lingering thoughts, and got up. After freshening up, he stepped out of his room and into the quiet hallways of Shrek Academy.
As he walked, he spotted Shao Xin approaching. Recognizing one of the people who had saved him, he gave a polite bow and greeted him with a smile.
"Good morning, Mr. Shao Xin. And… thank you for saving me."
Shao Xin waved his hand casually, a relaxed smile on his face.
"No need for thanks. Zhao Wuji and I just happened to be passing by when we saw the situation. We decided to help — nothing much." He chuckled softly. "Honestly, it was Zhao Wuji who did most of the fighting with those bandits."
Xu Yunhan nodded quietly.
"I see… Still, I won't forget this kindness."
Shao Xin was impressed by Xu Yunhan's personality. Not only was he humble, but also well-mannered.
"Alright, you must be hungry, right, kid? Let's go to the cafeteria. After that, I'll take you to see the Dean."
Xu Yunhan nodded and followed Shao Xin. After all, he was feeling quite hungry after waking up, so he didn't reject the offer. They made their way to the cafeteria, and after a hearty meal, the two of them headed toward the Dean's office.
---
Dean's Office…
Flender greeted them with a warm smile. His sharp eyes glanced at Xu Yunhan, and he gave a small nod of approval.
"Come in," Flender said, gesturing for Xu Yunhan to take a seat.
As Xu Yunhan sat down, Shao Xin gave a quick bow before excusing himself, leaving the two of them alone.
The room fell into a brief silence, with only the sound of the wind gently brushing against the window.
Flender broke the silence with a soft cough and said, "So, are you feeling better now, kid?"
Xu Yunhan nodded quietly in response.
Flender leaned forward, resting his hands on the desk. "Have you thought about what you want to do now? I'm truly sorry for what happened to your village… and your parents." He paused, his expression turning serious. "Losing them must've been hard. So… what do you plan to do from here on?"
Flender, despite wanting to recruit the boy into his academy, never believed in forcing someone to join.
"Even I… may seem strict and greedy, but that doesn't mean I lack kindness or gentleness."
If Zhao Wuji or the other teachers heard Flender's thoughts, they would have been left speechless, their faces twitching in disbelief.
After hearing the words from Shrek Academy's Dean, Xu Yunhan lowered his gaze in thought.
"I still haven't decided where to go…"
He recalled what Zhao Wuji and Shao Xin had told him yesterday — the village he had stayed in was burned down by bandits, and his parents in this life were already gone.
Even though he had come to the past — 10,000 years ago — he still felt lost. The world of the Douluo Continent was unfamiliar to him. After all, he was born on the Sun and Moon Continent, not here.
Xu Yunhan shook his head, showing that he had no idea what to do next.
Flender smiled, adjusting his glasses as he leaned forward. His sharp gaze landed on Xu Yunhan, and he spoke with a calm yet persuasive tone.
"How about this… Normally, Shrek Academy doesn't accept children under the age of 12. But for you, we'll make an exception."
A glint of excitement flashed in Flender's eyes as he continued, "After all, you possess full innate soul power and a powerful beast-type martial spirit. Someone like you… is a rare talent."
After you join Shrek Academy, we'll help you hunt down a suitable spirit beast for your martial spirit," Flender said with a confident smile. "Not only that, but until you turn 12, you won't have to pay any academy fees. The decision is yours."
Flender kept smiling, but inwardly he was crying. "I'm really giving away a free spot…"
Still, he knew it was a necessary move. Shrek lacked students, especially talented ones. And if this boy graduated from the academy, his influence alone could attract more students in the future.
"An investment… This is an investment in Shrek's future."
Xu Yunhan was taken aback by the sudden offer. It was a pretty good deal, though. Not only would they help him cultivate and hunt down a spirit beast suitable for his martial spirit, but he also wouldn't have to pay school fees until he turned 12.
"Staying here seems pretty safe compared to the outside world," he thought. "I can cultivate without worry, and more importantly, I can gather information about this time period."
Xu Yunhan nodded, a serious expression crossing his face. "Thanks for the offer. I've decided to join Shrek Academy."
Flender smiled, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "You won't regret joining Shrek Academy, kid." He leaned forward slightly. "By the way, can you show me your martial spirit? Even though Zhao Wuji and Shao Xin told me about it yesterday, I want to confirm it myself."
Xu Yunhan nodded and stood up to activate his martial spirit. As it activated, a brilliant white glow radiated from his body, and his eyes shimmered brighter. His pupils changed to red and blue, one for each eye, and his body expanded slightly. A vertical eye opened on his forehead, surrounded by sunray patterns. His hair shifted, half black and half white, resembling the patterns of a tiger's fur. Four angelic wings sprouted from his back, gleaming with an ethereal glow.
Flender stood up from his chair and walked toward Xu Yunhan, his eyes narrowing as he carefully examined the martial spirit before him.
After examining Xu Yunhan's martial spirit, Flender looked at him with a serious expression and said, "Your martial spirit resembles that of the royal family of the Star Luo Empire, but it's also different in many ways. By any chance, are you a member of the Star Luo Empire?"
Xu Yunhan shook his head. "No, I don't know."
He truly had no knowledge of it. After only transmigrating a day ago, even though he had bloodline white tiger of Star Luo Empire though his father in previous life ,but now in this, pretty much unknown to him about his inherited.
Flender saw his confused expression, shook his head, and said: "Let's not dwell on the details. But kid, you possess a pretty impressive martial spirit. From what I can see, it has strength, flight, and a holy attitude . It may have mutated in a good direction."
He wasn't as knowledgeable as his good friend Yu Xiaogang, but after traveling with him and experiencing all those years, he could easily tell what kind of martial spirit it was.
Xu Yunhan deactivated his martial spirit while Flender returned to his chair, looking at him and saying: "I'll take you to the Star Dou Forest tomorrow to find a suitable spirit beast. In the meantime, you should familiarize yourself with the academy, as you're the only student here right now."
He was stunned after hearing that he was the only student in the academy. Though, considering the academy's conditions, it was worse than he had originally thought.
Nevertheless nothing he do about now , He Nobbed and left the office while Flender grinning though about the future and the money he receive .
