Douluo: I, the Sun God

Without the obstruction of Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue, the Xia Kingdom's pace to unify the Douluo Continent accelerated. The Spirit Empire even surrendered without resistance. And upon learning that Xu Yang had become a God, the Star Luo Empire's resistance also weakened.

After Xu Yang manifested as a God above Star Luo City, the empire led the entire nation to surrender.

Xu Yang didn't pursue annihilation. He pardoned the nobles and factions of both empires, but they were required to strictly implement the Sun Dynasty's new system. The Eternal Blazing Sun building upon the old Spirit Hall's branch network, spread its reach into every corner of the continent.

No political system is perfect, and the Sun Kingdom's was no exception—it was merely the most suitable for that era.

The enforcement of the new system inevitably infringed upon the interests of many, but Xu Yang was a God. No one dared to resist. All were forced to accept. Those who didn't—he only needed to summon a sun, and an entire faction would be reduced to ash.

To further develop the Spirit Master world, Xu Yang used the Mysterious Heaven Skill to simplify a cultivation method that allowed those born without innate Spirit Power to cultivate it—and spread it globally through the Eternal Blazing Sun.

To ensure that future Spirit Masters wouldn't face a shortage of Spirit Rings, Xu Yang drew on a small portion of life authority within the Sun's domain to accelerate the resurrection of Zhao Yan and Yue Jiang. Once the two dragons were revived, he took them to the Star Dou Great Forest.

There, using the combined strength of three beings, they opened a small world and entrusted it to Gu Yuena.

Because of the Dragon God's ancient oath, no Spirit Beast could become a God until a new Dragon God emerged. At most, they could only reach demigod status. Xu Yang personally negotiated with Gu Yuena. Through the efforts of one human and three dragons, they developed artificial Spirit Souls.

However, their creation required Spirit Beast blood. To support this, Xu Yang personally forged 365 Transmission Divine Tower. These towers were interconnected: once a Spirit Soul formed in one tower, all others could grant Spirit Rings to Spirit Masters.

Xu Yang evenly divided the entire Douluo Star into 365 regions, each with a dedicated Spirit Transferring Tower, capable of absorbing Spirit Beast blood and souls within their area and converting them into Spirit Souls.

Finally, Xu Yang forged one hundred spatial teleportation God Tools, placing them in the major cities of both continents, allowing trade and connection—thus reinforcing the governance over both lands.

Soon, both continents began moving in a positive direction.

With all threats removed, Xu Yang entered secluded cultivation to complete the Asura God's Ninth Trial and officially inherit the Asura God position.

And the first step was to complete his God Armor. Though he had enough Spirit Bones, to carry dual God positions, the armor had to seamlessly shift between Sun and Asura attributes—or even merge them.

In the stillness of his secluded cultivation space, Xu Yang poured his full attention into forging his God Armor. He continuously fused Sun God Light and Asura God Light, seeking the secret to a stable coexistence of both forces.

Each fusion triggered intense energy turbulence; the slightest misstep would cause everything to collapse.

But drawing on his prior experience with his golden core, Xu Yang repeatedly turned danger into success. Eventually, he stripped out all his Spirit Bones and completed the forging of the God Armor.

Then came the Ninth Trial of the Asura God—incredibly difficult. Without unshakable willpower and a sharp, agile mind, Xu Yang might not have completed it. But in the end, he succeeded and inherited the Asura God position.

At the moment of his ascension, red light engulfed the Douluo Star. Crimson clouds rolled across the sky, covering the planet.

Inside the imperial palace of the Sun Dynasty, Qian Renxue stared at the crimson sky, eyes filled with bitterness. "He actually inherited the Asura God position too… what a terrifying man."

Upon becoming the Asura God, Xu Yang immediately sensed the guidance of the God Realm. He knew it wouldn't be long before he ascended. But before that, he wanted to fully stabilize Sun's rule. Once he entered the God Realm, he would no longer intervene in Douluo Star's affairs without cause.

He would not follow in Tang San's footsteps, frequently meddling in mortal development. He believed—as did the God Realm—that civilization should grow without Gods.

A decade passed in a blink. Xu Yang had done everything he could. Then, he took his family and friends and ascended to the God Realm—bringing along everyone he could.

Qian Renxue and Bibi Dong were among them. He couldn't leave two Gods on Douluo Star, especially with Bibi Dong still being a lunatic.

Once in the God Realm, Xu Yang wasted no time. He directly confronted the God of Fire and the God of Light, reclaiming the portions of Sun authority they held—raising his Sun God position to God King status. With the Asura God position, he became one of the God Realm's new God Kings.

But upon assuming this role, Xu Yang discovered: Evil and Kindness did nothing. Kindness was half-retired, and only Destruction handled matters—though, being aligned with Destruction, her decisions were… biased.

And so, Xu Yang became the only God King actually managing the realm.

Well then…

No wonder Tang San was head of all Gods in the original.

With these four salted fish…

Later, Evil and Destruction passed on their God positions to Lie Yan and Ji Dong, but they did not pass on their God Tools to them. This caused the two of them, despite having the God King rank, to be weaker in combat than Xu Yang and the other two. Fortunately, they could help Xu Yang shoulder a portion of the burden.

After that, Destruction wanted to evolve the God Realm into a Ultimate God Realm to accommodate more God positions.

But like Tang San in the original, Xu Yang refused.

He knew full well how difficult such a transformation was. Without a Supreme God King to serve as the foundation, it was simply impossible. Xu Yang personally met with Destruction and successfully persuaded her to take a more gradual, moderate approach.

Together, they constructed a spirit array on the edge of the cosmic barrier, opening a small channel to draw Chaos Qi into the God Realm, beginning its slow evolution. As a result, all the star systems under the God Realm were uplifted—capable now of producing God-level powerhouses even without a God Position.

Drawing on the Sun God and Asura God authorities, Xu Yang's understanding of the laws of heaven and earth advanced rapidly. He raised the Sun God to God King level and thoroughly consolidated his Asura God status. Once one reached the God King level, however, a God Position no longer had further effect.

To become a Supreme God King, one had to cultivate by themselves.

Unlike Destruction and the others who relied on the God Realm's structural evolution to improve, Xu Yang continued training through pure cultivation. Finally, when Huo Yuhao ascended as the God of Emotion, Xu Yang broke through—becoming a Supreme God King.

Afterward, Xu Yang had his two children inherit the Sun God position and the Asura God position. He himself stepped down from the God King position and began traveling throughout the Douluo Universe, ultimately achieving complete transcendence...
