Feeling the heat between them, Ling Yuan Douluo's breath quickened, her face flushed as she quickly stood and stepped away.

After smoothing her short hair, she lowered her gaze and said, "Your Highness, shall I go capture it?"

"I'll handle it." Qian Renjue smiled and gently pinched Hu Liena's cheek, waking her. "Nana, your soul ring has arrived."

"Mm..." Hu Liena slowly opened her sleepy eyes and instinctively leaned toward Qian Renjue. "Brother—Ah!"

It was pitch black under the tree because the sun couldnt Pierce through.

But as it moved through the clearing, a brilliant blue light abruptly illuminated the area, forming a triangular barrier that quickly expanded.

"Roar!" The white tiger let out a deafening cry, sensing several presences in the clearing.

Yet, instead of engaging, it immediately turned to flee into the forest.

"Sixth Soul Skill: Devil's Eye!" A cold voice echoed in the night.

In the pitch-black darkness, a pair of blood-red eyes lit up.

Between those eyes, a crack seemed to form in the center of the forehead, revealing a third, vertical pupil.

Crimson light shot forth, illuminating the forest.

"Roar!"

The white tiger let out a low growl, freezing in its tracks.

In its vision, the surrounding space was filled with blood-red eyes, writhing in all directions, trapping it.

The moment it locked eyes with the red pupils, it was pulled into a nightmarish realm.

Its true form, the Phantom Sky Fox, was exposed, black flames igniting on its body.

In the illusion, the more fear it felt, the more damage it suffered.

Its mental and soul power drained quickly.

With the Phantom Sky Fox immobilized, a cold, glowing figure pierced through the darkness, leaving a trail of blood.

"Roar..." The Phantom Sky Fox let out a final wail.

The brilliant blue triangular barrier once again expanded, enveloping the corpse of the Phantom Sky Fox.

Qian Renjue's soul rings retracted as his silver hair and red eyes returned to normal.

Once his wings were fully withdrawn, the oppressive chill in the air dissipated.

"Your Highness…" Ling Yuan Douluo stood beside Qian Renjue, her face full of concern.

"I'm fine," Qian Renjue reassured her with a shake of his head. Looking ahead, he ordered, "Hurry and absorb it."

"Okay, Senior Brother." Hu Liena, holding a blood-stained dagger, pouted as she touched the cheek that Qian Renjue had pinched red.

She nodded and looked at the fallen Phantom Sky Fox, its white body now adorned with a black soul ring.
