"Haaaa..." Tang Wulin let out a sigh as she trekked on home, inwardly grumbling about her mean schoolmates for giving her the nickname "rice bucket".

So what she ate a lot compared to an average kid? That just means she's stronger than they were! If one doesn't have a durable stomach, how could they become a powerful soul master?

Although she tried consoling herself, Tang Wulin still let out a long sigh. "I can't even fault them for calling me that. Even after eating all those, I'm still feeling hungry."

Her crystal clear black eyes dimmed, her lips trembling as if she wanted to cry.

"Is my martial soul really that bad...?"

A couple of days ago, she had undergone her martial soul awakening and discovered that her martial soul was the infamous—Bluesilver Grass! The most renowned trash martial soul.

Because of Tang Wulin's martial soul was Bluesilver Grass, she was rejected at by the other students. To make matters worse, the teacher didn't treat her very well either; spending the least amount of time instructing her on how to meditate.

At this rate, forget about becoming a formidable Soul Master, she wasn't sure she would even become a proper Soul Master!

Tang Wulin gritted her teeth, a look of stubbornness appeared on her flawless face. "I'll definitely become an important Soul Master. Dad told me before, success is 99% effort and 1% talent. Since my martial soul isn't any good, then I'll just have to put in even more effort!"

As she was walking down the road, a small figure attracted her attention.

A little girl was squatted down near the roadside. She was slightly shorter than him with a head of short silver hair. The sunlight had reflected off it, creating a silver flash and attracting Tang Wulin's attention.

It was as if there was some sort of profound attraction between the two of them. The young girl raised her head and returned Tang Wulin's gaze.

She wore shabby clothes in addition to a dirt stained face, clearly resembling a little beggar. However, aside from her silver hair, she also had two big eyes, with two crystal clear amethyst pupils that stood out from the crowd.

'She looks so pretty! Is she lost? No, is she an orphan?!' Tang Wulin hurriedly ran over, her earlier frustration forgotten. The sight of the silver-haired girl stirred something in her, a mix of curiosity and compassion.

"Little girl, where are your parents?" Right at that moment, before Tang Wulin could get close, several young delinquents surrounded her after being attracted by her silver hair.

The little girl avoided their eyes, biting her lips.

"Silver hair is really rare! Could you be from one of the other two continents? I reckon the black market dealers will really like her silver hair and purple eyes."

Greed colored their eyes as they nodded towards each other.

"Hey little girl, where's your family?"

"Are you hungry? Big brother will bring you to eat some good things, how about it?"

'Oh no! I need to save her, those guys are bad people!' Although Tang Wulin didn't understand everything about what the delinquents were saying, she could tell their intentions were malicious. Her heart raced, but she clenched her fists, determination surging through her.

Just as she was about to step in, someone else intervened.

Before anyone could react, there was a fierce breeze of wind and in the blink of an eye, the delinquents were pummeled into the ground with fist marks on their faces. They weren't even able to let out a pained cry before they were quickly defeated with a single punch.

"Hmph! Be grateful that there's kids here, otherwise..." A cold voice sounded out.

'Eh?!' Tang Wulin and the silver haired girl were dumbfounded as they stared at the woman standing before them.

'W-Who is that beautiful woman? She's so strong! She hadn't even unleash her martial soul, wait, does that mean that she's a formidable Soul Master?!' Tang Wulin clenched her fists, her face flushed in excitement.

She was an incredibly beautiful woman with long, flowing blue hair with pink ends and a pair of large, light sapphire eyes, and fair white skin. Although beautiful, she had mature and cold features that gave her an intimidating presence.

She was dressed in casual clothing consisting of a simple white blouse tucked into a pair of high-waisted black pants, paired with knee-high boots that looked both stylish and practical. A light blue scarf was loosely wrapped around her neck, complementing her striking hair and eyes. Despite the casual nature of her attire, the way she carried herself made her look regal and untouchable.

It was like a Goddess was standing before them...

At that moment, Tang Wulin was confused as she suddenly feels a sense of familiarity and kinship towards this woman. Have she seen before her? Was she a...relative?

"Are you all right?" The beautiful softly asked as she bended her knees to meet the silver-haired girl's gaze.

The silver-haired girl hesitated, her amethyst eyes shimmering with uncertainty. "I...I'm okay," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

The woman reached out, brushing a stray strand of silver hair from the girl's face with a tenderness that surprised the girl. "You're safe now," she said softly, a faint smile gracing her otherwise cold features.

Turning her attention to Tang Wulin, the woman's eyes narrowed and a bizarre expression momentarily flickered across ber flawless face before quickly returning to her usual cold composure.

"Hello there. Little...girl?"

Tang Wulin snapped out of her thoughts and politely bowed towards the woman. "H-Hello miss! Thank you for stepping in and helping her from those bad guys!"

The silver haired girl nodded shyly in agreement.

The woman shook her head. "It was no big deal. Anyone with a shred of decency would have done the same. You yourself had stepped in and was about to try and stop those thugs. That's commendable, but bravery without strength can lead to trouble. You need to grow stronger if you want to protect others."

Tang Wulin's cheeks flushed red in embarassment. She nodded her head with determination in her eyes. "Y-Yes ma'am!"

The woman nodded approvingly. "Good. My name is Wang Qui'er. What are your names?"

"My is name is Tang Wulin. I'm six years old!"

"....My name is Na'er."

The girls replied as they looked up at Wang Qiu'er with a mix of curiosity and awe.

Wang Qiu'er turned towards Na'er and asked, "Hey, do you have anywhere to go to?"

She shook her head and shyly grasped onto her pants her small hands trembling slightly. "No....I don't have anywhere to go."

She didn't know why, but she felt like she could trust the woman and the girl before her.

Tang Wulin's heart ached at her response, and without thinking, she blurted out, "Then come with me! My family will take care of you!"

Na'er turned to her in surprise. "Really? I... I don't want to be a bother...."

Before Tang Wulin could respond, Wang Qui'er lightly chopped her head. "Ah!"

"Okay, stop. I'm taking Na'er with me."

"Eh?" Tang Wulin and Na'er turned to her.

Wang Qiu'er looked at Tang Wulin with a slight frown. "Wulin, are you absolutely certain that your family can take care of her?"

"Of—" Tang Wulin paused, biting down on her lower lip.

Of course they couldn't, not when Tang Wulin was aiming to become an important Soul Master and then achieving the incredible status of being Mecha Master. And in order to do that, her parents had to invest heavily in her education, resources, and training.

Bringing Na'er home would only add to their burden. The realization made Tang Wulin's excitement falter, her youthful face clouded with guilt.

"I...I didn't think about that," she admitted, her voice small.

Wang Qiu'er sighed, her expression softening slightly. "It's good that you want to help, but responsibility means thinking things through. Na'er needs stability, care, and safety right now—things you can't provide yet."

Na'er glanced between the two, her small hands clutching the hem of her tattered clothes. "I-I don't want to cause trouble for anyone."

Wang Qiu'er placed a gentle hand on Na'er's head. "You're not causing trouble. Sometimes, we just need a little help to stand on our own feet. You'll come with me, and I'll make sure you're safe."

Na'er hesitated, then nodded shyly.

Wang Qiu'er glanced at Tang Wulin. "Do you want to come with us?"

"Huh? I can?!"

"Of course. You like to come play with her and make sure she's not lonely, don't you?"

Tang Wulin's eyes lit up. "Yes! I'd love to!"

Wang Qiu'er nodded and said, "It's not too far from here. Just a block away."

....

"W-What...." Tang Wulin's eyes widened in shock as she stood in front of the place Wang Qiu'er had brought them to. It was a large, luxurious mansion with high walls and an ornate gate, the kind of place Tang Wulin had only ever seen from magazines!

The garden visible through the gate was meticulously maintained, with vibrant flowers and a clear stone path leading up to the main entrance.

"This is your home?!" Tang Wulin exclaimed, dumbfounded. Then she blinked, recalling something important. "Hold on a second! Isn't this the empty lot for sale for around millions of soul coins! I don't remember there being a complete home..."

"You probably didn't notice it. This place was in construction for several years and just finished a couple weeks ago." Wang Qiu'er said with a straight face. Na'er holding her hand was similarly bamboozled as Tang Wulin.

'Eh? But...I walked by this place just yesterday!'

Although Tang Wulin was utterly baffled, she couldn't ask as Wang Qui'er opened up the gate and they walked in.

The moment they entered, Tang Wulin felt like she had stepped into another world. The garden wasn't just beautiful—it was breathtaking. Exotic flowers in vivid colors lined the path, and a small fountain with a crystal-clear stream bubbled gently in the center. The air was fragrant, and everything seemed to exude an air of refinement.

Even the large Mechas and other soul tools on the driveway that leads to the underground garage didn't lessen the serene and majestic atmosphere of the mansion. If anything, the sight of the mechs added a sense of awe and power to the already impressive estate.

The sleek designs of the soul tools hinted at cutting-edge technology, making it clear that whoever lived here was not just wealthy, but also deeply involved in advanced research or combat.

'Wait, Mechs?!' Tang Wulin's head snapped so fast toward the large Black and Red Mechas that she nearly gave herself whiplash. Her wide eyes scanned the towering constructs, which seemed to radiate an intimidating aura even in their dormant state.

The Black and Red coloring gave them a fierce, battle-hardened appearance, and their sheer size made Tang Wulin feel even smaller than she already was. And was it just her, or did those Mechas seem...alive?

"Are those....real Mechas!?" Tang Wulin asked in awe, barely managing to tear her gaze away from them to look at Wang Qiu'er.

How could she not contain her excitement?

Soul Masters have been the most essential profession within the millennia. Soul Masters were not only rare, but the majority of them were also weak. But with the advancement of Spirit Tools, this paradigm had shifted.

Low-rank Soul Masters could now become much more powerful by relying on their Soul Power and Spirit Tools; which was the Mechas!

Mechas are operated by using soul power from Soul Powered Batteries, thus allowing its user to display strength far surpassing their own. The first Mechas were developed in a larger form. The factor being that the larger they were, the larger the Soul Power Battery they could install as well as the number of weapons it could be equipped with.

With the aid of Soul Tools, an ordinary person might be able to match up to a Soul Grandmaster, and with a Mecha, they could even possibly contend with a five-ring Soul King! For ordinary people and children, such as Tang Wulin, becoming a Mecha Pilot/Master was the greatest dream!

She had only saw a white Mecha flew by the town a few months, and right now she was staring at Black and Red Mechas!

Like soul rings, Mechas are categorized into a few types from weakest to strongest: White, Yellow, Purple, Black, and Red. From what she heard by passing, a Red Mecha could even fight against a Titled Douluo! A person who could crush mountains and split the seas!

'This woman....who is she?!'

As Tang Wulin stared at Wang Qiu'er in awe and respect, Wang Qiu'er sighed deeply in annoyance.

"Ah, those things? Yeah, just ignore them. Juzi made those toys a while ago, got bored with them, and decided to just dump them there. Even after all these years, that girl never learned to organize herself."

"Eh?" Tang Wulin froze.

'Toys? Dumped them?'

While Tang Wulin was processing Wang Qiu'er's casual dismissal of what she considered ultimate marvels of technology and power, Na'er timidly tugged at Wang Qiu'er's sleeve.

"Miss Wang Qiu'er....who's Juzi?" Na'er asked softly, her amethyst eyes filled with curiosity.

Wang Qiu'er smirked faintly, her cold features softening just a touch. "Call me auntie...or Big sis would be nice as well. As for Juzi? She's my harem sister."

Na'er's head tilted in confusion. "Harem...sister?"

Tang Wulin blinked, equally baffled. "What's a harem sister?"

Wang Qiu'er froze for a moment, seemingly caught off guard by their innocent questions. She coughed lightly, crossing her arms and averting her gaze. "Ah... she's basically my sister in all but blood. Don't think too much about it."

Na'er and Tang Wulin exchanged a glance, their curiosity only growing.

"But, Miss Wang Qiu'er—"

"Auntie or Big Sis," Wang Qiu'er corrected sternly.

Na'er hesitated but nodded. "Big Sis Wang Qiu'er, what does it mean?"

Wang Qiu'er sighed, muttering under her breath, "Why am I explaining this to kids..."

She looked down at their expectant faces and gave a reluctant smile.

"It just means that....we have a very large family."
