Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4359: Strange Contact?

"I don't like this…"

A blonde-haired man lay naked in a bed. Beside him were two women in both his arms, snuggling and giggling with the discussions they had after dual cultivation.

They were none other than Davis, Mingzhi, and Fiora.

"You don't like being with us…?" Mingzhi raised one of her brows, her lips curling slyly.

"After all those sweet whispers and rabid moans, that's the conclusion you arrive at?"

Davis also raised one of his brows as he looked at her in a dubious manner.

"Just kidding~ I just want to see you look all flustered." Mingzhi licked her lips.

"Do your best to catch me off guard."

Davis chuckled before he continued, "I just don't like how I'm here, feeling like doing nothing while the Ghostly Crow Lower Realm is about to be conquered by my women soon. It is a complicated feeling to sit back and watch the women whom I'm supposed to give a luxurious life do all the work."

"Oh- you can be sure if you weren't restricted by the Covenant, we'll work you to death, so don't be worried. It's only eight more years and eleven months, so don't be too complacent."

Mingzhi eyed him with a smug look, causing Davis to beat her butt with his palm lightly, "Now that makes me feel less guilty for enjoying my life with my lovely beauties in my arms."

"Liar, even if you feel guilt, your thick skin doesn't want to abandon this lifestyle~"

"You sure got it right."

Davis leaned in for a kiss, lip-locking with Mingzhi's crimson lips.

"Mhm~ Me too~"

Fiora pulled him away from her as she held his cheek and had his lips all to herself. Mingzhi giggled.

She must admit she had been indulging in dual cultivation for about three days and didn't want to leave him. He bestowed her with pleasure that she didn't want to let go. She could tell Fiora felt the same since, even now, she was drunk in that pleasure even after resting a bit.

It was like their night hadn't even begun.

And since she heard that big sister Evelynn spent nearly one week with him, she wanted to stay here for more time. Unfortunately, she had Tianyu to take care of and also go to the Ghostly Crow Lower Realm, so she felt the need to make the most out of this session.

Suddenly, she narrowed her eyes.

She raised her hand and looked at her spatial ring.

Davis's mouth nearly coalesced into Fiora's with the way he kissed her, blending and suckling on her lips. But at this moment, he noticed Mingzhi's frown, making him turn to look at her.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

Fiora came out of her reverie and also turned to look at Mingzhi. The sleazy sister she had was looking way more out of place with her solemn expression.

"It seems like someone has managed to intrude into our little intelligence network."

"Oh?" Davis raised his brows, "That person has some guts and skill to be able to find an agency that stays hidden under many other agencies like Metenoa's intelligence agency. You need me to deal with that person for snooping around too much in this realm?"

Mingzhi shook her head, "No, he says he's Young Master Ragoon from the True Peak Emporium. I have heard about it as it's said to be one of the most prominent trading companies in the Upper Realms."

"Interesting…" Davis commented, "Does he want something from me?"

"Pretty much~" Mingzhi nodded, her expression appearing to be in doubt, "Although he says that the esteemed Earth Dragon Villainess and the Icefire Phoenix Demoness sent him so that he can be of use to us while also having a piece of important information to relay. He says he wants to meet as soon as possible since he's poisoned."

Davis sat up while holding Fiora and comfortably making her sit while the sheet fell off, revealing her wonderful curves.

"Isabella and Shirley want to contact me? Is this a trap?"

Davis's eyes narrowed just like Mingzhi's did. Clearly, they thought this was obviously a trap but then again, what if it was truly them?

"He says he's poisoned. Perhaps he has no choice but to do what Isabella and Shirley say. Shall we invite him to our home?"

"No, I'll go meet him myself. Where is he?"

Davis flew out of the bed. His energy surged out of him, and water splashed against him before it instantly evaporated. He appeared refreshed, as though he had taken a bath.

Mingzhi also did a similar thing but she took a bit more time and provided him the location but also went with him. Fiora also followed.

They exited the Second Void Dust Sanctuary, and Davis waved his hand, ripping open a spatial tunnel that allowed them to traverse long distances. Within a few moves, he was already at the point of destination, descending onto a town along with Fiora and Mingzhi.

There, they discovered a small, secluded courtyard tucked away at the edge of the town, surrounded by vast wilderness. There was a shack inside the courtyard and further on was a dilapidated mansion. It was clearly not a place where someone of Young Master Ragoon's supposed status should be staying, but perhaps that was intentional as it was low profile.

Davis, Fiora, and Mingzhi stepped into the courtyard. The moment they appeared, the few guards stationed at the perimeter flinched, immediately feeling the suffocating pressure that accompanied their descent. Unable to withstand, they fainted.

Inside, a frail man was sitting on a stone bench, chains still wrapped around his wrists and ankles, although they looked more symbolic now than functional. His once well-groomed hair was a mess, and his robes hung loosely, stained and slightly torn. Even his gaze was dim, but upon seeing Davis, that dimness transformed into something else.

There was a mix of hope and terror swirling in his eyes.

"Y-You…!"

Young Master Ragoon stumbled to stand, his knees shaking slightly.

"That's him," Mingzhi confirmed casually, glancing at Davis.

"Divine Emperor of Death…" Young Master Ragoon stuttered, the name caught in his throat. His mouth opened a few times, searching for the words.

Davis didn't say anything at first. He just studied the man. Every twitch, every breath, every lie hidden behind that false professionalism that merchants often practiced like a second nature. His Heart Intent was at full throttle, and surprisingly, he could only feel the desperation in the other party's emotions.

It was as though he finally met his savior.

"I hear you have a message from Isabella and Shirley," Davis finally spoke as he took a step closer, his voice calm yet carrying an unquestionable authority that made the temperature drop.
