Denial, Blood of The Fae

Raven let a soft hum out as he hammered away at a piece of metal and was forging it into a proper shape. Normally he'd just use transmutation and similar forms of magic to shape things, but currently he was doing it by hand.

Good ol' fashioned work.

"No, this is off by a small bit." Raven sighed and tossed the misshapen creation to the side of the room where it joined many other failures.

What was he trying to create?

A perfect replica model figurine of Veldora.

"Ok, maybe I should take a break." He paused from raising his hammer to stare at the pile of figurines laying on the floor, the pile having started spilling from the corner into other parts of the room.

Raven moved his foot and paused as he heard a crunch and looked down to see one of the failed creations crushed.

"Definitely take a break." He nodded to himself before a wave of his hand had them all shoved into his pocket dimension. Maybe one day he'd carve runes into them all for shits and giggles, then set them free on the cardinal world.

Maybe in some random city to start it off.

Luminous Valentine froze as she was ensuring Chloe was ok by watching, spying on, her with her crystal ball.

"Why do I feel like that damn stupid evil dragon just did something?"

Raven nodded to himself pleased at that idea and waved his hand as his forge shut itself down, his hammer returning to the wall.

"Now, what do I do? I'm surprisingly not horny right now, I don't feel like killing something… what else is there to do as a teenager?" Raven asked unsure.

"Wait, what else do irresponsible teenagers do? Drink!" Raven nodded to himself, he was a genius! "Now who do I drag to drink with me? The twins? No, they're lightweights. Lori? Meetings today. Everyone else is busy too… oh I know!" Raven nodded with a grin before he decided first he needed to change.

With a hum as he thought about what outfit to wear, he noted it was a nice day out currently, so he went for something nice and casual.

Black shoes, black pants with a belt, and a blue shirt that had some kind of tv show reference on it, he had no idea what it was since Persephone picked it out. Then he lengthened his hair and fastened the hair accessory he had been given by Hades and Persephone, and then the earring from Izanami.

"Not that I think about it, I've never actually really picked my own clothes out…" He noted with some amusement before he opened a portal to his room and found Izanami sitting on his bed, a bag of potato chips in one hand as she watched some show.

"Get dressed, we're going out." Raven declared grinning and Izanami raised an eyebrow, but he didn't respond when asked about where to, just casual clothing.

Raven smiled smugly as he walked down a street in America, his smile growing at the jealous looks sent his way because of Izanami walking beside him.

"Did you seriously bring me out here to make the mortals jealous?" Izanami asked with a raised eyebrow and he grinned wider.

"Nope. So I was experimenting, nothing new there, and needed a break, something new, and I thought about what to do, then I thought what would a teenager do?" Raven smiled at Izanami, fangs slightly showing for his amusement.

"Oh no, I can already see where this is going." Izanami silently groaned.

"I'm surpassingly not horny at the moment, I don't feel the need to evicerate someone's organs, so that left only one thing for a teenager to do. Drink!" Raven said cheerfully as one moment he was looking like his older teen self, then he looked like a young adult. "Of course I decided to choose America to drink. Because why not?" He finished with a nod.

"I worry sometimes that you will eventually be in a leadership position." Izanami said and Raven smiled at her, a normal smile, if a little smug.

"Don't worry, I know the difference between being in charge and being stupid. I'm very competent at both." Raven declared with no hesitation.

"I'm even more worried now." She said with a small smile and he laughed.

"Glad to hear, now I welcome you to Smugglers Cove." Raven said as he waved his hand at a building and held the door open for her.

"I can see why it had such an interesting name." She said as they walked up to the bar and took a seat.

Not even five minutes later Raven was in a fist fight with some guy.

Izanami watched lazily as she sipped at her drink watching. A girl approached her.

"Aren't you worried for your boyfriend?"

Izanami choked on her drink for a moment as she coughed and turned to look at the girl who approached her.

"Not my- no wait he kinda is, fuck. Anyways, no I'm not worried, the idiots just playing around." Izanami said as she turned back to her drink and a few moments later Raven walked back up to the bar, dropping a fat stack of cash.

"This ought to cover any damages." Raven said as the person behind the bar nodded with a pleased smile and took the money.

"Did you come here just to throw down with the first guy who hits on me?" Izanami asked softly and he smiled at her as he grabbed her hand and held it, interlocking their fingers.

(Le gasp! Hand holding before marriage!)

"Of course not." He said and she raised an eyebrow. "Ok, maybe a little, but that bastard shouldn't hit on what's mine." He added on and leaned forward, laying a kiss on her cheek as she blushed silver slightly.

"Hey there handsome why don't you leave her and join-" a random girl tried to pick up Raven, but Izanami wasn't having it and stood up, her hand clenched into a fist as she landed a hail maker of a punch to her face.

Raven whistled at the same time as the bar cheered over the one hit knockout punch.

"I'm also poessive of what's mine." She declared and he smiled softly.

"Then let us be possessive together." He decided and placed a soft kiss on her lips, it was a light gentle momentary kiss, but it took their breaths away.

"Together." She agreed and smiled softly back at him.

The bartender mentally threw up from the cuteness display, even if he couldn't quite make out what they were saying.

The bar cheered again, Raven bought a round of drinks for everyone.

The next morning there would be news of a huge bar fight at Smugglers Cave, but surprisingly no major injuries and no hard feelings.

In the background of the cover photo for that news story, a white haired man with his cat could be seen walking off.

"Kahahaha." Raven laughed as Rose pouted at him as he sat on a bench swishing his feet.

"It's not funny!" She growled and he chuckled as he held up a hand.

"No you're right." He said and she smiled, "It's hilarious!" She frowned and glared as her hands lit up in fire and he quickly started running as she chased him.

Those still at the castle rolled their eyes at the familiar scene.

"Stop running and let me burn you!"

"Never my foolish apprentice!"

Yeah, this was a normal thing for the inhabitants of Hogwarts.

In Hogsmeed, a black dog with silver eyes titled his head confused before moving to pounce on a rat with glee.

Raven paused as he sensed something inside his room, Izanami was sleeping on his shoulder, but she opened her eyes curiously as she felt it.

"This presence, it's holy, to the extreme, and familiar." Raven noted as he entered his room and saw a package laying on his bed inconspicuously.

A few dozen detection spells later, he was sure it wasn't cursed or harmful, so he opened it and gasped at what was inside.

A pure white feather, beautiful on its own, but it also had a slight golden shine to it. There was two of them inside the box, alongside a letter.

"These feathers, I recognize them and the energy. Archangel Gabriel, she's quite a special being to have gotten the attention of." Izanami noted as she turned into a human.

"The Messenger of God." Raven said aloud and an image popped up into his head from that time when Legion attempted to take him over. That beautiful lady, she must have been Gabriel, he mentally decided.

"Indeed, no matter the barriers, as the Messenger, she can go anywhere she wants to. Nowhere in this universe is safe from her." Izanami said and he hummed as he held the feathers in his hand.

"Nowhere is safe huh?" He mused as a smile formed onto his face.

"A king should be able to go wherever he wishes no?" Raven asked Izanami rhetorically as he held his hand out and his crown appeared.

"A ruler should be free to travel without restraint, so I'm gonna become free myself." Raven decided with a smile as he grabbed one feather and held it against the crown before both started glowing brightly, and when the light show it made vanished, the crown was there, but one change.

Feathers sported out from the sides of it, having their own little golden shine to them. They complemented the crown well.

"Freedom is what we all desire." Raven said aloud as he held the crown to his chest, slowly intertwining it with his soul, binding it. He was pleased when the crown vanished, and then reappeared floating above his head.

"Freedom is what I've attained with this gift." He said as he stored the second feather away and made the crown disappear.

"I'm sure the world is panicking." Izanami dryly said and he rolled his eyes and sat on the bed, tapping his lap and she laid her head on his lap as he ran his fingers through her hair, a new pastime of his.

Izanami was correct, many beings across the world shivered in confusion and fear, unsure why. However, the scale was wrong, multiple multiverses in existence shivered in sync.

Raven was free, and his reach now expanded. However even with a crown, he still is a ruler without a kingdom.

In a unknown realm, a set of blue eyes momentarily opened before closing again in pain and tiredness.

Morgan sharled as she ripped apart a being in half with her bare hands as it showed her a brief illusion of her baby dead.

She'd genocide their entire race for that move.

So shit happened this chapter. Lots of shit and foreshadowing if you know where to look.

Anyways I hope you all enjoyed, ima go to bed now, I really want the next two days to be over with, once Saturday rolls around and over with, I've got a four day weekend, and I plan to enjoy it, after dropping my mom off at the airport at 8am, fuck my insomniac night owl sleeping schedule.

The next three to four chapters are going to be VERY interesting and I'm going to try and make them longer then normal chapters due to what I have planned for them.

Also, happy Fourth of July to everyone! May the fireworks not scare your dogs like it does mine. Guard dog my ass, it's like I'm the guard lol.
