Chapter 181: C159(1)

What do you mean?

When Lennox heard this, his scalp tingled with numbness.

Boom!

In front of him, several Transformers clashed in fierce combat. The battle was a chaotic blend of close-quarters fighting and devastating thermal weapons firing from their massive forms.

The force of their collisions sent shockwaves rippling through the base, like ocean waves crashing against the shore. Sparks flew in every direction, illuminating the confined space with bursts of light.

The acrid smell of burning metal lingered in the air, making it hard to breathe.

Buzzing!

The Batmobile, driven by Batman, roared forward. Its frame bristled with terrifying weapons—thick, long barrels that could make even the bravest quiver with fear.

But to the Transformers, this menacing vehicle was little more than a curiosity. Even the weakest of them, the giant scorpion-like Decepticon, barely spared it a glance.

That was their mistake.

Boom!

As the Batmobile switched into battle mode, it unleashed a barrage of firepower designed to overpower even Gotham's most dangerous villains. Anyone who underestimated it paid the price.

Equipped with Gatling guns, armor-piercing rounds, tracking missiles, and Batman's signature grappling hook, the Batmobile was a force to be reckoned with.

The giant scorpion Decepticon learned this lesson the hard way.

Two tracking missiles locked onto their target, striking the scorpion's head with precision.

Click!

The scorpion's metallic head crumpled under the assault. Yet its resilience was remarkable—it refused to fall. Instead, it waved its massive pincers, gathering energy for a desperate counterattack.

But Anton, piloting the Batmobile, gave it no chance.

A well-placed armor-piercing bomb detonated at the scorpion's base, tearing it apart.

Nearby, the Autobots—who had been battling the scorpion—paused mid-fight, stunned by what they had just witnessed.

So strong? What kind of car is this?

Even the Autobot medic, Ratchet, found himself momentarily distracted, lost in thought.

Anton ignored them. His focus shifted to the dying scorponok, now a shattered wreck. Its crimson eyes flickered like faulty lightbulbs, dimming and reigniting as its systems failed.

Confident it wouldn't last long, Anton turned his attention to the ongoing battle between Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Jazz against Starscream, Brawl, and Blackout.

The fight was a chaotic melee. Sparks flew as the combatants exchanged blows in the confined space. The Autobots and Decepticons alike bore fresh scars, their armor dented and scorched from the intense conflict.

Neither side gained the upper hand.

This was to be expected.

Both Autobots and Decepticons were ancient beings whose battles stretched back thousands—if not tens of thousands—of years. Their unending war had drained Cybertron's resources, forcing them to bring their conflict to Earth.

And yet, despite countless encounters, they had never managed to achieve a decisive victory.

But this time, things were different.

This time, the Autobots had new allies.

Batman.

Chi Chi!

The Batmobile fired another round of tracking missiles, slamming into Starscream and his allies. The Decepticons stumbled back under the assault. Sensing an opportunity, the Autobots regrouped, forming a defensive line behind the Batmobile.

The Decepticons, humiliated and enraged, snarled with unrestrained fury.

The battle reignited.

Anton kept the Batmobile moving, using its agility to harass the Decepticons and support the Autobots. While the Batmobile's firepower and speed gave it an edge against smaller foes—like the giant scorpion—it wasn't built for prolonged combat with Transformers.

Anton knew this.

For now, his strategy was clear: distract and disrupt the Decepticons, giving the Autobots the edge they needed to win.

Therefore, avoiding direct frontal combat is the only effective way to make a meaningful impact.

For now, another "Anton" is handling Megatron, ensuring there's no issue with insufficient firepower.

"Human, who are you?"

Megatron, having just awakened, was deeply unsettled by cyborg's presence. The advanced technology of cyborg's form left him suspicious of this so-called human.

"Victor Stone. You can call me cyborg," the clone replied coldly, raising his arm. With a flick, he launched a sonic projectile that forced Megatron back. A faint sneer appeared on his metallic face.

"Don't doubt it. I am human—just not the kind you're familiar with. While most humans may appear weak in your eyes, remember this: humanity… has never lacked the strong!"

As his words echoed, a powerful current surged from behind cyborg. He dashed forward, channeling the energy field into his hand.

The energy, infused with the essence of the AllSpark, glowed ominously, signaling his intent to strike Megatron's core directly.

Optimus Prime seized the opportunity, restraining Megatron to give cyborg a clear opening.

With a roar, the leader of the Autobots swung his mighty broadsword, generating a sonic boom that reverberated through the confined underground space. The air exploded outward, creating violent gusts as the blade arced downward.

However, the tight quarters made wielding such a massive weapon difficult. Unable to complete his swing, the blade scraped against the rocky walls, sending showers of sparks flying. The impact carved deep ravines into the mountain's surface, leaving behind smoldering grooves.

Chi-chi-chi-chi!

For the first time, Megatron felt an overwhelming sense of danger.

Caught between the fire-charged strike of cyborg and Optimus Prime's relentless assault, he found himself cornered. Desperation flickered across his face as he made his decision.

Abandoning defense against cyborg, Megatron focused on evading the AllSpark-infused blow. In the process, he took a direct hit from Optimus Prime's broadsword.

Clang!

The clash of metal reverberated like a deafening bell in the enclosed underground space. The sound echoed endlessly, drawing everyone's attention.

All eyes turned to see Megatron kneeling, one knee pressed into the ground. The sheer weight of the attack left a circular depression beneath him, evidence of the immense pressure.

His arm, transformed into a shield, had intercepted Optimus Prime's broadsword just in time, preventing a fatal blow. Though he avoided severe injury, the force of the collision sent shockwaves through the air.

Rippling currents, visible to the naked eye, spread outward, kicking up clouds of dust and ash that filled the cavern.

Whoosh!

Cyborg, undeterred by his missed strike, darted forward like a predator homing in on its prey. His momentum was overwhelming.

The AllSpark energy in his other hand glowed with an intense blue light as he prepared for another attack.

To the Transformers, this light was almost miraculous in nature.

But to Megatron, it was the harbinger of death itself. This was no mere threat—it was an unavoidable catastrophe.

Gritting his teeth, Megatron's eyes blazed with determination. Bound by Optimus Prime's restraint, he could only defend himself passively.

The AllSpark energy in cyborg's hand was more than a weapon—it was a death sentence. Megatron knew that if the energy struck him, it wouldn't just kill him; it would annihilate him completely.

This wasn't a temporary setback. Unlike his resurrection in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, there would be no coming back from this.

At this moment, cyborg posed a far greater threat to Megatron than Optimus Prime ever had.

At this moment, Megatron's hatred for Optimus Prime burned brighter than ever.

This wasn't just about survival—Optimus Prime wasn't merely trying to kill Megatron. He was threatening to destroy the AllSpark, the sacred artifact of the Transformers.

For Megatron, this was unforgivable.

"Optimus Prime, do you even know what you're doing?"

Rage surged through him, and Megatron ignored cyborg's attacks entirely, focusing all his fury on Optimus Prime.

"You're willing to sacrifice Cybertron's only hope for an insignificant human?"

He clenched his massive fists, his red electronic eyes glowing fiercely.

"This time, it's just you and me. One of us will live. The other… will die!"

Even at a disadvantage, Megatron's declaration was one of absolute confidence.

"There's no victory without sacrifice," Optimus Prime replied simply, his tone steady and unyielding.

The air crackled as the two titans collided. Energy blasts erupted from their hands, striking each other's armored chests with devastating force.

Before the fight could escalate further, cyborg inserted himself between them, disrupting their duel.

"Get out of my way, you insignificant pest!" Megatron roared in fury, unleashing a massive energy cannonball at cyborg.

Cyborg remained unfazed. With precise timing, he fired a laser beam, detonating the energy ball midair.

Emerging from the fiery explosion, cyborg lunged forward. The AllSpark in his hand glowed brightly as he pressed it directly against Megatron's chest.

"No!" Megatron's voice trembled with fear.

Nearby, Starscream, Brawl, and Blackout froze in shock, their expressions a mix of disbelief and horror.

Boom!

A massive explosion engulfed the area where Megatron, Optimus Prime, and cyborg stood.

The entire base was bathed in blinding light, as if the sun had descended upon it.
