Chapter 22: The unexpected visitor 2
As we journeyed deeper into the snowy landscape, the three ice wolves led me to a hidden entrance, concealed behind a frozen waterfall. We stepped through the entrance, and I found myself in a vast underground chamber, lit by a kaleidoscope of glowing crystals.
The lead wolf, who had introduced himself as Arcturus, approached me with a serious expression. "Elvis, we have brought you here to reveal a secret that has been hidden for centuries," he said. "A secret that could change the course of your cultivation journey forever."
I felt a surge of excitement and curiosity, wondering what this secret could be.
Arcturus continued, "You see, Elvis, the village of non-cultivators is not just a simple village. It holds a secret that has been hidden from the cultivation world for centuries. A secret that could allow cultivators of Qi to also cultivate Mana, and potentially even reach the Divine Realm or the Spirit Realm."
I felt like I had been punched in the gut. Cultivating Mana? That was the realm of mages, not cultivators. I had always thought that the two were mutually exclusive.
Arcturus nodded, as if he could see the questions racing through my mind. "Yes, Elvis. It is possible for cultivators of Qi to also cultivate Mana. And the village of non-cultivators holds the key to unlocking this secret."
I felt like my mind was reeling. This was too much to take in. I had always thought that the cultivation world was divided into four realms: the Mortal Realm, the Qi Realm, the Spirit Realm, and the Divine Realm. But now, it seemed that there was a way to bridge the gap between the Qi Realm and the Spirit Realm, and potentially even reach the Divine Realm.
Arcturus continued, "But that's not all, Elvis. The village of non-cultivators also holds a gateway to the Spirit Realm. A gateway that could allow you to enter the Spirit Realm and cultivate Mana alongside your Qi."
I felt like I was staring into the abyss, unsure of what lay ahead. But I knew that I had to take this chance. I had to learn more about this secret and see where it would lead me.
"What do I need to do?" I asked Arcturus, my voice barely above a whisper.
Arcturus smiled, his eyes glinting with a knowing light. "Ah, Elvis. You are eager to begin. Very well. We will take you to meet the elder of the village. She will reveal more about the secret and guide you on your journey."
I nodded, my heart pounding with excitement. I knew that I was about to embark on a journey that would change my life forever.
As we made our way through the winding tunnels of the underground chamber, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and awe. The walls were adorned with ancient carvings, depicting scenes of great battles and powerful magic.
We finally arrived at a large stone door, adorned with intricate carvings of ice wolves. Arcturus pushed the door open, and we stepped through into a large, dimly lit chamber.
The room was filled with a sense of calm and serenity, and I could feel a powerful energy emanating from the center of the room. There, seated on a throne-like chair, was an elderly woman with long, flowing white hair.
She looked up at me with piercing blue eyes, and I felt a sense of recognition, as if I had seen her before.
"Welcome, Elvis," she said, her voice warm and inviting. "I have been expecting you. My name is Eira, and I am the elder of the village of non-cultivators."
I bowed my head in respect, feeling a sense of awe and wonder in the presence of this powerful woman.
"I am honored to meet you, Eira," I said. "I am eager to learn more about the secret of the village, and how I can cultivate Mana alongside my Qi."
Eira smiled, her eyes glinting with a knowing light. "Ah, Elvis. You are indeed eager to begin. Very well. I will teach you everything you need to know. But first, you must prove yourself worthy."
I felt a surge of determination and excitement. I was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, and to prove myself worthy of this powerful secret.
"I am ready," I said, my voice firm and resolute.
Eira's eyes seemed to bore into my soul as she spoke. "Remember, Elvis, cultivating Mana is a difficult and treacherous path. You will need all your strength and cunning to succeed."
I nodded, feeling a sense of determination and purpose. I was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, and to prove myself worthy of this powerful secret.
Eira smiled, seeming to sense my resolve. "Very well, Elvis. Let us begin your training. We have much to cover, and little time to waste."
And with that, my journey into the world of Mana cultivation began. I knew that it would be a difficult and challenging path, but I was ready to face whatever lay ahead.
I was ready to unlock the secrets of Mana, and to become the most powerful cultivator in the world.

Note: Elvis has begun his journey into Mana cultivation, and has been given a new cultivation level. He will need to work hard to increase his Mana cultivation level, and to unlock the secrets of this powerful force.
Eira nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Very well, Elvis. Let us begin. From this day forward, you will be cultivating Mana alongside your Qi. Your new cultivation level will be as follows:
