Crazy Britain:They’re All Raising Me

Chapter 301: How Dare You

After being discovered, the slender man immediately began to struggle for his life.

As a creature from urban legends of the Pan-Human History, the slender man's abilities were quite strange. Apart from his power to make everyone around him lose their memory, he was also highly skilled in stealth and evasion. If a fight were necessary, his body, which could stretch and shorten at will and extend tendrils, had formidable combat strength. Even among the many prison guards in Glasgow Tower, who were at the level of great fae, he could be considered the strongest.

If he were to fight against Guinevere's team, rescuing Artoria and the others, it would certainly be a tough battle.

But the problem was that his opponent was not Guinevere and his team, but rather his superior—the strongest dragon fairy of Fairy Britain, the fae knight Lancelot, with the fae knight Galwen quickly rushing to the scene.

No chance at all.

Under the absolute speed suppression from fae knight Lancelot, the slender man had no opportunity to escape. It was clear as day that before he could leap from the tower, his unlucky lord would catch up to him first.

So, without any hesitation, the slender man attacked Lancelot. One of his arms stretched out, shooting toward the charging fae knight like a cannonball.

He didn't expect this blow to cause any harm; he merely wanted to delay his unlucky lord for a moment, buying himself a chance to escape.

However, he heard a "seya" and then saw, to his horror, that Lancelot simply passed through his attack, slashing his arm clean off with one swift stroke.

Before the slender man could make another move, Lancelot had already closed in, one leg lightly tapping the ground like a bird in flight. Meanwhile, her other hand bent, gathering immense magical energy around her gauntlet.

In the next moment, the sword light poured out like a raging wave, countless fierce slashes cutting the slender man to pieces in the blink of an eye.

"Damn monarch..."

With these last words full of regret, the slender man shattered into a heap of meat, which quickly dissipated into ethereal particles.

"Monarch? What monarch?"

After casually dispatching the slender man, Lancelot frowned but couldn't quite figure out what his last words meant.

Since it was something she couldn't understand, she decided not to dwell on it. She quickly turned around, happily running back to Guinevere.

"Darling, I took care of that guy who was deceiving us! Wasn't it clean and swift? You should praise me! (^▽^)"

"Ah... I saw..."

Meanwhile, after seeing the slender man's fate, Guinevere couldn't help but click his tongue.

"Truly impressive... You've worked hard..."

Seeing Lancelot's face brimming with "praise me" written all over it, Guinevere reached out to pat her head while inwardly thinking:

No wonder, even though she's a member of my harem, I always feel uneasy when I see her... This woman, though she looks cute and clingy, really strikes hard when she's an enemy...

If she were on the opposite side, Guinevere didn't even dare imagine how brutal the scene would be... Wait a second?

Guinevere's steps suddenly faltered.

Then, in the next moment, he pulled out his sword and slashed toward the nearby Lancelot. At the same time, Lancelot swiftly turned, her sword sheath flipping over with a flash of bright blue light, and she struck at Guinevere with a mighty blow.

When their swords clashed, Guinevere's sword was immediately knocked away, and he was sent flying, crashing through a prison door and landing inside.

"Tsk—!"

Lancelot, clearly dissatisfied with not being able to kill Guinevere with that one blow, her eyes burning with intense fury, immediately accelerated and rushed toward him.

"You bastard! How dare you impersonate my beloved, how dare you, how dare you?!"

Seeing the tears almost welling up in her eyes, it was obvious that Lancelot was utterly enraged.

Just thinking about how, in her memory loss, she had mistaken this person for her beloved and had even tried to cuddle with him, letting him pat her head and reward her, was driving her mad.

Her rage finally boiled over into one sentence:

"You... you're dead!"

"Hey, it's not my fault! I never called you my wife!"

He hadn't planned to say that, but once the words were out, Lancelot's hatred intensified. She no longer cared about anything and charged straight at him.

Just as Guinevere was about to be overwhelmed by his lack of strength and face certain death at Lancelot's sword, support from the other three arrived just in time.

Crimson arrows and bright blue magic columns, filled with immense power, surged toward them. But they weren't aimed at Lancelot; they targeted the area in front of her. If she continued chasing Guinevere, she would inevitably be hit.

In response, Lancelot crossed her arms, preparing to unleash her invincible "Double Sword Dance."

But before she could speak, Galwen shouted first:

"Charge forward!"

Then, with a loud "clang," the attacks from Bawanxi, Artoria, and Galwen's sword all landed on Lancelot, with Galwen's strike sending her crashing into the ground.

Even though they had regained their memories, they didn't intend to stop. But just as Galwen was about to strike again, violent magic erupted from Lancelot's body, forcing her to yank her head out of the earth and quickly retreat from the others.

As soon as she distanced herself, Lancelot shouted:

"I've been holding back on you, you filthy ape! Why are you helping him?! Don't you know that because of this guy, the population of the Fairy Kingdom was drastically reduced in the previous simulation? Nearly 90% of the fairies died?!"

In response to her furious question, Galwen furrowed her brow slightly, showing a confused expression.

"I know, I also remember the simulation. It's true that he sparked a war that ravaged all of Britain."

"Then why are you—"

"He is a knight whom I deeply respect. I believe he had his reasons for what he did... and I can imagine what those reasons might be."

Thinking back to the devastated Manchester, Galwen spoke softly.

She paused for a moment before adding:

"Also, would you like to guess which simulation reward allowed me to gain my new abilities, despite being locked up here all this time?"

"What do you mean?" Lancelot was stunned, "Are you saying..."

"Yes," Galwen nodded gently, "In that simulation, he was the king I swore allegiance to—though I only pledged to him after you died."

"You bastard! Didn't you swear to protect the Fairy Kingdom?!" Lancelot yelled angrily.

"You're wrong," Galwen slowly raised her sword and said, "I chose to protect the one truly worth protecting."

With that, she took another step forward, ready to swing her sword again.

"Alright! You brought this upon yourself!"

Seemingly having made up her mind, Lancelot suddenly clenched her teeth:

"If that's the case, then let's have a proper battle! Let me see how much weight your beastly disaster really carries!"

She reached forward, and a dark, ominous long spear appeared in her hand.

Upon seeing the spear, Guinevere frowned, feeling like he had seen it somewhere before, but couldn't place it.

In the next moment, a bolt of lightning struck with a thunderous roar.

Galwen didn't even have time to react before the blazing golden lightning hit her, sending her flying backward. At the same time, Lancelot, holding the oversized spear, stood surrounded by crackling thunder, her eyes filled with violent fury.

It was then that Guinevere's pupils shrank, and he finally recognized the weapon:

"Damn, the Thunderclaw Dragon's spear?"

Divine Weapon · Thunderclaw Celestial Slash

This weapon came from a distant, other-dimensional world, forged by a dragon king at the pinnacle of the world for his apprentice. However, after encountering an overwhelming genius, the original owner was killed, and the weapon was taken.

But because it was passed to a new master, this weapon now radiated far beyond its former glory, even to the point of being able to kill its original creator.

After acquiring this weapon, the wielder would gain the ability to manipulate thunder for combat, with greatly enhanced speed, attack power, and recovery abilities. If the wielder could also use dragon transformation skills, the enhancement would be further boosted.

However, after the first use of the weapon, the wielder would be influenced by the lingering murderous intent of the weapon, becoming uncontrollably violent and aggressive. Use with caution.

It was because of this weapon's side effects that Lancelot had hesitated to wield it, but now, with her unrelenting fury and desire to kill Guinevere, she had no more concerns.

She would fight for the safety of the Fairy Kingdom, for the safety of Yuse, and for her vows!

Today, Melyuzhina would be her final battle!
