Celestial power: the war of realms

Chapter 3: Break off the engagement

Sadi had continuously been the one to persevere through Sophia's insuperable coldness, but after observing her in Thor's arms, Sadi made up his mind that if Sophia needed to be free from him, at that point he would do anything she needed. As he was, a useless individual in her eyes.

Sadi cast a contemptuous look at Sophia and said, "If it is, at that point I am breaking off this engagement."

"You are free to choose whomever you need, Sophi."

Sophia curved her brows; she looked at Thor in skepticism. She might not understand that Sadi would be the one to report it.

A man like Sadi... who had continuously been non-boastful, how might he break the engagement? It would be her to break it.

How dare he?

"You?"

Sophia parted her lips in disbelief.

"Are you serious? Okay, now I can marry of my choice. I trust your father won't come slithering back again to ask for my hand for his son."

"No," Sadi right away answered immovably, his glare fixed.

"My father won't go. In reality, it will be you. You will ask to come back."

Sophia raised her brows in a mix of stun and shock. She could not accept that Sadi might talk in such a discourteous way; who would not set out to talk terribly against Sophia. The seethe, the fire, which she had continuously needed to see inside a man, she took note of in his eyes.

Thor had been observing their fight for so long. But after hearing Sadi's comment, Thor hindered between Sophia and Sadi, "Wait, you!"

Thor pointed his finger at Sadi. "You are the guy who has no control to summon a mythical beast, the one who has fizzled each challenge, right?"

Thor said those words to insult Sadi, implying to down his pride. But Sadi did not indeed take Thor truly; he neglected him and was around to make his way to take off. But Thor did not let him go effectively. Thor got irate when Sadi overlooked him. How may somebody like Sadi, who was considered a useless, feeble, powerless man, dare to ignore him?

"How dare you?" Thor shouted.

"You think you can walk away after ignoring me?"

"You are nothing without your father's title; still, you have the guts to neglect me?"

"How do you know I am nothing without my father's title? Did you consider almost me as long as I know I am not that imperative or eye-catching?" Sadi scoffed. His eyes were calm and detached, as if Thor's words didn't bother him at all.

Thor tightened his jaw and said, "Arrogance!"

"We will see what you can do on the determination day."

"I will see how distant that pomposity gets you."

Thor's confront hardened.

Sadi gave him an unflinching look and replied, "Okay, at that point, we will see on the choice day."

"I trust Sophia won't lament it." Sadi said as he looked at Sophia.

Sophia crossed her arms and answered with self-importance, "I will never, ever lament it." Her lips twisted into a self-satisfied smile.

The situation changed to the domain of Celestoria.

The ancient chief, Ethan, sat scrunched over a stack of papers, his hands moving gradually as he scribed something in a dialect known as it were to a few; it appeared something imperative. His white facial hair touched the material as he scribed, and his long cap on the head was decorated with pearls.

After wrapping it up, he collapsed the material carefully and tied it to a pigeon's leg. The pigeon cooed some time recently, flying out and vanishing into the tremendous sky inside a diminutive. Ethan stood up and came out of the chamber, observing it go. His intellect was overwhelmed with the contemplation of what was almost to come.

He thought, 'The time has come."

'It has been so long since I have seen him; he must be a solid man presently. I trust Antonio has taken great care of him."

Ethan considered where he was walking.

'I cherished him, but presently it's time to confront the world; he is the fundamental beneficiary of control. I have to clarify everything to him on time, and at that point my work will be complete.' Ethan thought and breathed out. He strolled toward an antique temple.

The sanctuary held a dim history.

The sanctuary had once been a place of reverence for all the high-ranking warriors and conjurers. The sanctuary had been surrendered ever since the previous chief and his spouse were killed there by obscure culprits. But the incongruity was that no one knew who murdered them, and they had a child who had vanished after that day.

There was a dull mystery that Ethan was attempting to cover up. His strides resounded against the stones of the sanctuary. As he walked around, his look fell on the disintegrating dividers and the moss-covered statues and stones of the sanctuary. But abruptly, he listened to a stride that hindered his considerations, and he talked, "General, what are you doing here?"

He was calm and composed, as regular. In spite of the fact that he didn't turn around, he got to be completely cognizant of the nearness that had drawn him closer since of his sharp senses.

Ethan was a master warrior; he acquired the control of firmament vitality, aced divine combat styles, and had profound otherworldly information. General Mason stepped forward and bowed, but Ethan did not turn back and kept enjoying the surrounding scenario.

Mason raised his look and informed, "Chief, I have pleasantly organized the arrival for the combat. Presently, you have to check it out."

"I trust you, Mason; no need to recheck." Ethan's tone was dismissive.

Mason then lowered his gaze; he hesitated a bit, but still, by gathering the courage, he asked, his tone unwavering, "Chief, we still can't find where the stone is. What will we do this time?"

The source of Celestoria's control and the key to their dominance over the other domains, the stones had been lost so long ago. And Ethan and Mason tried hard to conceal the truth from everyone.

Ethan pondered for a moment before responding, "Mason, don't worry; everything will be fine. Just let the combat happen."

Mason became agitated; he could not comprehend how the chief might stay calm at this sensitive moment.

"But what about stone, chief? We cannot rule over everyone with a lie. They will know it soon," Mason's voice cracked.
